I've played against undead enough to decide I want to try them out. Coming from dwarfs, I wanted to try Necrach, since Magic is something completely different for me. This is my first real attempt as a list, so all comments are welcome.
BSB will deploy with GG, and I took the Banner of Doom over the SoK because I tend to play a lot of shooty armies. That's also the reason I went for 5 spirit hosts. Necros and Count will deploy with the skeletons until I can move them into cover or a bunker unit that I summon later.
Spirit Host will be the main screen, with ghouls screening the flanks. GG and Skeletons will deploy behind. Wolves will run the edges and come in for flank charges once combat starts. (I am correct in thinking wolves can not march move if out of range of the general, right? I had someone argue this with me in the last tourney because they're fast cav.) Banshee will dart from cover to cover until she can pop out and do some damage without eating a magic missile.
Necros will use IoN to keep the spirit host healed as needed, and use leftover castings to create flanking units or beef up the skelly block. Count will use IoN to create and refill, since he has Awakening.
I don't know how two units of 5 ghouls would do over one unit of 10, but just from their toughness, they look pretty survivable against missile fire.

nonesense... If you want your general ethereal use a necromancer. otherwise it's just a waste of points. Also the Awakening is one of the worse Necrarch powers available. Just about any other will be more universal and thus useful.
I agree with Assur give him the noble blood and unholy conosure with the ring of the night. Also no point giving your GG halberds and shields just givethem hand weapons and shields instead!.
