Speed! Think about, most undead forces consists of lots of shambling minions and the flanks being guarded with black knights and other support units. What if superior speed and raw cc power became the army focus? But with the magic umpf to back it up?

So here is my \\\"Flying Blade\\\" Necrarch list. Your thoughts or criticisms please.

Count = 358
w/ Lvl. 2, Noble Blood, Crown of the Damned, Barded steed, (either Sword of Might, Cynosure or Forbidden Lore . . .have not decided yet)

wraith = 152
w/ great weapon, barded steed, flaming rod of death

necromancer = 150
w/ Lvl. 2, book of arkhan, dispel scroll

Wight Lord = 132
w/ Lance, Heavy Armour, Shield, Barded steed, Cursed book

(2) 5x Fell bats = 200

9x Black Knights = 310
w/ Lance, Heavy armour, shields, barded steeds, full command, banner of the barrows

9x Black Knights = 315
w/ Lance, Heavy armour, shields, barded steeds, full command, banner of doom

(4) 5x dire wolves = 200

10x zombies (bunker) = 60

18x zombnies = 125
w/ Full command

Total: 2000
Number: 80
Power: 7, 2x bound
Dispel: 4, 1x scroll

I wouldn't take the crown on your count. With only Ld9, it's too risky IMHO. Give him a ROTN and SoM.

I like the wraith kit. Put him in a wraith train and snipe away :D

I decided to go with the sword of might on my count. I think RoN is overpriced, besides I think I can keep stupidity at bay.

7 PD in a Necrarch army?? That's as many as I have in my BD force. Which, to tell the truth, is not enough to have an influential magic phase against at least 50% armies I face....
Unit selection is fine but I would really consider a second necromancer.

The wraith cant take the rod of flaming death becasue it is an arcan item if im not mistaken. So instead give that the cursed book instead.
