this is probably the only army i want to go with if im starting with vampire counts, i just love the strong zombie theme and zombies in general :P

i have never played with or not much against vampire counts, but i cant really see how any one could beat this army, there would be just too much zombies there, and even more to come - that being said, i did not pick this army cause i thought it was overpowered, i wanted it themed

other than that, what about the magic items list i have? could i do better? more scrolls? (1 or 2 more?) is the cursed book nessesary in this kind of army?

Your list, and characters are ok. Magic items could be a little better; drop that staff of damnation (no use for it), and take rod of flaming detah. Also, instead of awakening take a ward save, or/and a magical sword.

You list is far from overpowered; infantry hordes are hard to play with, and easy to play against.
And when you face itp chaos, or wood elves, you have little chance to beat them.

Switch awakening to SoM, and give him cynosure.

The list isn't exactly broken, but it can be very powerful.

That list looks similar to my zombie-horde ^_^ . When I used a list like that, some of my blocks never got to see combat and the ones that did, were too small to last long enough for flanking forces to arrive... I think that with units of 25, the units can hold the enemy better, with no need to summon to all your units immediatly in the beginning of the game. This way you can harass the enemy by summoning new zombie units all over the place :wub: . You will have big problems against immune to psychology units and units with enough attacks to stop you from winning on static combat resolution though... Other than that, it´s a really cool list to play with ;) .

Yeah i agree i tried this kind of list and it isn't very forgiving
