I was thinking of using the Count to summon masses of Zombies. I'd stick the Wight in the Black Knights, and have the Necromancer bolting people. The Grave Guard would protect the count, the skeletons would protect the Necromancer and the Thrall. The summoned Zombies would tie people up while the Black Knights ran around smashing units to bits. The Bats and Wolves would hunt ranged units and War Machines. The Spirit Host would sit semi-infront of my Count to guard him from being turned into swiss cheese by ranged units.

Considering switching the Master of the Black Arts for The Awakening on my count.

Any advice would be appreciated. It is my first list, so please be gentle with me :P

Well, since it is your first list . .

Ok, Death Lord looks good. Your thrall and necro look fine to me. The wight lord is good, but remeber he only gets those auto str. 5 hits when he moves into contact with you enemy. So, when in doubt just take the cursed book or Sword of the Kings.

As for your wolves, I would remove the Doom wolf and take 3x squads of 5 wolves. Make your fell bats into 2x squads of 3. If you want to take Grave guard then drop them all together or take a big block 25.

Black Knights look great, just remember to give them the banner of the barrows.

Finally, having two solid blocks of armored skellies is nice, and spears are a personal preference for many players. Some like them, some don\'t. I leave that for your to decide. Afterall, it is your list.

Just a few errors here and there, overall very solid Death List. Welcome aboard!

Drop the host, and get a pack of 5 wolves. Spilt the wolves into 2 packs of 5 with no doom wolf.

With the spare, get a 6th bat.

The GG are too small, drop them. A unit of 10 will just get destroyed, they need to be at least 19-strong with a character or 20 strong without. US25 is preferred.

I'd switch lance and talon of death for SoK.

Black knights are good, but warbanner or banner of the barrows would be better there.

I'd also ditch the spears and get a pack of ghouls to screen your lord's unit, or more wolves.
