For starters you probably notice that all my core regiments are only 15 for zombies and 10 for the skelliees. After quite some testing I can tell you that 3 necromancers are more than enough to get all those to at least 20 models by turn 3 or 4 when usually the close combat is (not against cavalry armies ofc), and if I really want my Incantations to go through, the count offers quite a lot of annoying death spells for my opponent to dispel.
Apart from that, this rooster has the typical (4x5 Dire Wolves and 1x4 Fell Bats) shooting hate // march blockers.
P.S. Before advising me to drop the champions in favor of more zombies, I'm totally against that, because whenever I tried to fight against crews (even the ork spearchukka goblins) they almost always win the combat and make my wolves crumble. With the extra attack I get better chances to actually win the combat (outnumber vs. defending hither ground in the traditional case, I have to make more wound than he does, and this is kind of rare for me)
On the flanks I got 5 Black Knights with champ each, which could be used either as flankers (if somehow I don't have enough infantry blocks free to charge) or could go hunt my opponent's spellcasters.
At the price of 141 per unit if I charge a caster hiding in his infantry block I can get 3 attacks (with the champ positioning in the move phase) at the wizard hitting on 4 and wounding on 2, and ofc 2 horses on 4s and then 4s again, just to be sure that I'll get him down. Sure, after that my black knights will crumble from the combat resolution, but most lvl2 casters are around 150 pts, so they both pay off (Even if it's with like 10 pts) and they hinder my opponent's dispel phase.
Another odd thing you might see is that I run 2 cannons. In my normal build I had 2 banshees (-2 zombies to fit the points), but to be honest I'm really, really bad with rolling high enough to kill even a single model, so from all 3 or 4 turns they get to "sing" I rarely make more than 2-3 casualties. And my local tourneys are ok with playing Dogs of War, so I don't have problems with the cannons.
(Although I'm thinking of a way to fit in 2x3 Ledbelchers which can be quite devastating in my rooster, not to mention that they'll make absolutely sure that no1 will be doing anything around my flanks).
The ghouls usually screen my knights or even the wolves sometimes.
P.S. I had quite some success with this build lately and I kind of like it, but I have major problems against cavalry armies such as Slaanesh Chaos or Bretonnians. I'm pretty sure it's rather because of my tactics than because of the rooster, so I'd really appreciate some advices from the more experienced players what to do against such armies.
