Samurai Child
Chapter 1
It was the war of Sejiken, dead and near death corpses covered the ground, promising a great feast for the arriving scavengers. All were dead except for two warriors, one standing for their armies. One was a samurai for the Jihibukai Empire and his opponent was a sorcerer from the Chidarake Empire. The two stared each other down for some time, until the sorcerer gave an amused chuckle.
"So... I have the honor of slaying the best samurai of the Jihibukai Empire." he said in a cold, but enthusiastic tone for his probable near victory. The swordsman did not look amused as the sorcerer rambled on insults and laughing at his own crude jokes. Finally the samurai spoke out, interrupting a terrible joke.
"That's enough!" the samurai snarled, pointing his sharp blade at his enemy. "Battle is not just talk. It is skill as well you foolish magician." the samurai said, making his own stinging insult.
"Magician!? I am no magician you naive boy!" the sorcerer yelled, charging a small glowing orb caged in his pale, bony fingers. He threw it at the swordsman, a blazing light stream behind the magical projectile, zoomed towards its target. The swordsman dodged easily.
"What were you aiming for? You couldn't hit the broad side of a barn!" the samurai laughed at his witty, yet, not so unique joke. The sorcerer charged up another spell orb and threw it once again, this time hitting its target and sending the sword wielder flying. "Okay..." he grunted after landing in some rubble, getting up to a kneeling position, "Maybe he CAN hit the barn..." and then onto his feet only to be met by an orb into the stomach knocking him further back. The sorcerer seemed to enjoy using the sword wielder as a moving piñata for some time, until he grew bored.
"I grow bored of you. I will slay you, and put you out of your misery." the sorcerer sneered down at the swordsman who was laying on his back, covered in cuts, and paralyzed from the most recent blow. "Prepare to enter the next world Talon Shendo!" the sorcerer exclaimed, an arm raised and a glowing orb in his raised hand. The dark wizard slammed the spell into Talon's chest, in response the swordsman screamed in agony. The sorcerer laughed devilishly as his oppenent writhed in pain and agony. The sorcerer started to walk away as the swordsman seemed to start fading from life.
Talon's eyes began to close, his firey amber orbs becoming slowly behind his eylids and his vision growing darker. As the last of his vision left him he could feel some rain coming, as a drop hit his forehead. As he gave one last look up at the dark storm clouds he sighed, rain starting to pour down upon him and finally his vision diminished with his consciousness. After what seemed a millenia of silence, he started to hear voices. Voices talking among each other and coming closer.

Ok! Chapter 2! Maybe... part of it...
"Hey. What's he doing here?" one voice asked, obviously male. He sounded tough and burly, his voice gruff.
"I don't know. Maybe he ran away..." another male voice answered. His voice hinting he was a man of books and not brawns.
"Maybe we should take him to town. He seems hurt." a third voice answered. This one was gentle, and calm, but worried for whom they were speaking about. It was female, hinting more of a scholar than a houseworker. Soon Talon felt himself being picked up and held in comforting arms. Though his eyes refused to open he could feel himself get carried away from the bloody battlefeild and, by the sounds that met his ears, into a small town holding a wonderous festival. Soon the swordsman opened his eyes to find himself in a soft bed, all tucked in under the sheets in an empty room.
"Wh-where am I?" he said dazely as he sat up. Realizing two things, one his voice was a bit higher, and two the bed was longer than normal beds he slept in. Then he noticed a third detail.... He was alive! While stunned in shock of still living, the clicking of an opening doorknob brought him out of his daze and his sight shot to a woman in the doorway.
The woman was fair skinned, cascading black hair down to her waist that was formed into a nice braid, and kind emerald eyes. She wore a light blue shirt with a purple jacket, a dull red skirt, and tan dress shoes. He watched her as she entered the room and over to his bed.
"Are you feeling alright little one?" she asked, her voice soft and gentle.
"I am not little. I am Talon Shronger. The most talented swordsman of the Jikibukai Empire!" the young boy said triumphantly and thrusting a fist upwards.
"Sure you are little one." she smiled at him and pat his firey red hair gently. Talon blushed and looked away to hide the response to the affection.
"Do you think I'm lying? Because I'm not! I came back from the war of Sejiken! I was brought down by a sorcerer!" Talon snarled angrily then wincing in pain, falling down onto the bed.
"Why would the military let a young boy like you fight in a war. You are too young." she countered him, wile tending to his pains. The boy, not pleased with the fact of age, just growled while the woman finished tending to him."There little one. Now you lay own and get some rest." she said kindly and gently pushed him down so he was laying against the pillow.
"But I'm not tired... And I'm not little!" Talon yelled throwing the covers off a bit. "Stop calling me little dammit!" he screamed angrily. The woman gasped at his language and slapped him lightly, dispite it was very painful for him.
"Children at your age shouldn't know such language!" she exclaimed in alarm. After that she realized her mistake and paniced a bit. "I'm sorry! You alright? I didn't mean to slap you." she apologized.

Granting Nime-kun's wish! I think I have enough.....
Chapter 3
"It kind of stung." he groaned and rubbed his red cheek.
"I'm really sorry little one." the woman apologized again, petting his head, feeling his silky, fire red hair. He growled a bit, and she removed her hand from his head.
"Stop calling me little!" he yelled and calmed back down, laying down on the infurmury bed. His eyes began to invade his sight, turning it dark and then black. He rolled onto his side, feeling the stiff white sheets tuck him in and he finally fell into a light sleep. The woman smiled and left the white room out the door she had entered from, making sure to close the door quietly as not to wake the sleeping occupant.
"Must have used up all his energy..." she mused happily, walking down a hall covered in oddly shaped art, messy names signed in the corners. She exited another door to a blinding light, though it dimmed a bit to reveal a playground, kids laughing, playing games, and other school ground fun.
"Ms. Isha! Ms. Isha!" one small girl cried, running to the woman and grasping her skirt. The woman pat the small girl's head to calm her down as her freinds came over to take her back to their game of tag which she had scraped her knee playing.
"Now now. Calm down, go and play." Ms. Isha smiled and nudged the girl back to her freinds, which she promptly ran off with them. The teacher, Ms. Isha, watched her students play, a wide smile playing across her cheeks. Soon an annoying ring skwaked through the playground, causing the kids to groan as they filed for a black door, where their teacher was waiting. She opened the door, escorting the quiet, file children back to a classroom, where they immediatly took their designated seats. "Alright children time for your naps." she smiled happily, the children smiling as well while they pushed their desks to the walls of the room. They ran to a closet, grabbed a blanket and a pillow for each one, and laid them out in random places on the floor. When they settled in, she started to play some peaceful music to help lull the children to sleep, which it did.
Soon all the children were sleeping soundly under their blankets as the music played. She got out a small novel and started reading, waiting for the time to end. Soon the end of the nap time came and the music ended. She placed a piece of paper between the pages she had stopped and put her book away. As soon as her book was back in place, the clildren were starting to wake up one by one. When they were all up, they returned their blankets and pillows to the proper places, moved their desks back, and sat in their seats waiting for their parents. Parents came some minutes later, gathering up their children and taking them back home. One boy watched from behind a wall, though he had been down the hall minutes earlier.
"Hello. What are you doing here?" a feminine voice whispered behind him causing him to jump out of his skin in suprise. The teacher, known as Ms. Isha, was standing behind him, smiling.
"Don't scare me like that!" Talon yelled, then calming. "Sorry." he apologized, realizing his mistake. He felt her pet his head, slightly ruffling his spiky crimson hair.
"It's alright." she smiled kindly, letting him sit at a desk while everyone left. She sat back at her desk and started some grading to do. He got out of the chair and walked over to her and tugged on the hem of her shirt. She looked down at him and smiled again. "You need anything?"
"Where can I stay?" he asked, trying not to express sadness in his question. She thought for a second and then smiled.
"You can stay at my house." she chimed, putting her paperwork away, taking his hand, and leading him out the door of the school in which she worked. The small boy walked with her, his small hand inside her gentle grasp made him blush a bit. He sighed a bit, wondering why she was so... kind.

Sorry for the double but here's the first half or third of chapter 4! ^^u
When the boy and his teacher reached her home, he bore a slight shimmer of confusion. To his perspective her tiny, cozy cottage looked so small and old. He peered at the small house curiously and removed his hand from his teacher’s light grasp. He strolled up to the front door and studied the old looking wood then took hold of the dark brass knob. It was very cold to the touch but still smooth as if brand new. The young boy turned the old thing and pulled the door open to reveal a very spacious living room and kitchen.
The boy went inside, not waiting for his female teacher to follow him as he explored. First was the living room which was neatly put together with two comfy looking couches, an armchair, a small coffee table, and a stone fireplace. He hopped up onto a couch that faced the fireplace and lad down on it. It felt so comfortable to him that he could fall asleep then and there. On that thought he felt a warm, fuzzy blanket drape over him which only increased his drowsiness. Soon he felt his eyes get heavy and his eyelids covered his fiery amber eyes. Sleep took him over and he rested peacefully, his teacher sat next to him and smiled a bit. She tucked the blanket more around him and left for the kitchen to fix her student something to eat when he woke up from his comfortable slumber.
Enjoy for now!
