I guess it's time I lay some ground rules and guidelines right here and now.

PLAGERISM:

We seem to be having a big problem with this as of late.

First offense:
The first time you plagerise, you instantly get a month of suspension.

Second offense:
Instant banning.

Plagerism is not taken lightly... so don't push it. At all. It's stupid and pointless. Come up with your own stuff: you have a mind.

Respect:

Respect for both the reader and writer is very important. For readers, try to at least take constructive critics when given, esspecially when it is useful information. As for the writer, keeping thier topic alive is helpful for them but just replying with "Update soon" is not a real opinion on what you really think about the story. Put some thought into your posts when commenting a story.



Plagerism:

Not tolerated. This means that if you steal something from someone else's story, then you're plagerising. Even copying another fanfic or episode is plagurism. Also, be creative with your story and no HS fanfictions unless it's original.



Flaming:

Flaming is when you just post with only insults to the writer or another reader. This may result in a ban.


Listen to your mods:

Self explanitory.


Limit your comments on another fan fiction:

If a story is Shounen-Ai/ Yaoi or Shoujo-Ai/Yuri related, keep homophobic comments to yourself.

How right you are! I wish they did this on some of the bigger sites, like fanfics.com. I cannot begin to comprehend how many of my fanfics have been plagurized there. :cryriver: Was this your idea, Saku?

It wasn't my idea 100%, but I did help Cara make up some more rules specific so that people will follow them.

Um, what's an MS fic? And by copying an episode, you mean...? Like, an episode of something on a TV show? 'Cause I have a fic that kinda sorta does that in the beginning, but, um... yeah... Would I get taken off of the site for posting it? I mean, it's still writen by me, using my way of describing things and such, so technically it's still my work, right? (Please don't punish me for my n00bness)

Well... The plot wouldn't be you're work, you just have to give credit to the show for it, also, because you got alot of it from the show...

But you shouldn't get in trouble, unless people are giving you a hard time about it, which I would expect.
