The fight would start of course with harry casting a spell, ed countering with a wall of somesort, the making a giant spike come from the wall right into harry....then as harry laid dying, ed would coem over and transmute his soul into a sexual doll...yes that woudl be very funny.

I dunno... Harry didn't seem to actually be at all good with magic until about the fifth book. Ed was a proffesional alchemist from the age of 14.

By contrast, all magic requires is a swish and flick, and you can make all kinds of lunacy happen. Ed, on the other hand, needs the materials of... let's say a gatling gun, before he can make one.

I think it's a tie, they fight for a while, acknowledge their differences, and go get a butterbeer at hogsmeade, Ed's treat.

Ed would win. Ed's faster than Harry, has more endurance, has fighting skills, has his alchemy to back it up and he's got a metal arm and leg. Harry has a wand, his broom and that's basically it. Harry can't fight on his own, so as soon as Ed figures out 'Hey, all I have to do is snap that wand', Harry's done for. Being faster than Harry and, in my opinion, a lot smarter, he'd be able to accomplish that easily. I mean, all it takes is a well-aimed slice of his right arm (transmuted into a blade, of course) to break it.

And, once Harry couldn't fight anymore, Ed would leave him alone. For those we said he would kill Harry, you're totally wrong. Ed doesn't kill and if you would watch the whole series that'd be pretty obvious.
