This question has been plaguing my mind for quite some time now but I was wondering if anyone has an answer.

Inuyasha's ears why do his look like that if both his father and Sesshoumaru''s ears are down and his look like wolf's ears

probably because hes a half breed and cant transform.sesshomaru and his father are full demons and can transform into dogs,but inuyasha stays in his human-like form.so there has to be some part of a dog on him since he cant transform.its a guess,but i hope it helps.......

Exactly. He's hanyou, and can't transform fully into a dog. All he's got is his human and hanyou form. So, his hanyou form has to have some dog-like features to it to show he's hanyou, like his ears, hair, and claws.

It's because Sesshomaru and Inu no Taishou have human and demon forms, but since Inuyasha is a hanyou he's stuck between both forms

I know im totally late, but I think what rinsama is asking is why are their ears different. Not why Inu has them in humaniod form. Inuyasha, like she said, has wolf ears, while Sess and his dad have long and flappy ears.

Either Izayoi was smittin with another dog, or like Frieza on DBZ, dog demons have numerous forms. I do believe Inutaishou was shown in different dog forms, about 2 or 3.

Well, some dogs do just have thoughs ears, and think about it,,,would he look right with ears like there dog forms?But thats just my own oppinion, though

They aren't saying his ears aren't natural they are wondering why there are different from his family's.
