Chapter 1
Gone by Midnight

The young woman sat on the hill looking down on the sweeping valley and the villiage that was located in the center of Inuyashas Forest. All she could do was hope the others were okay back at camp. her mind was still stuck on what had happened and every time she thought of she cried.
Tears poored out of her chocolate eyes down her face and onto her white school blouse.As she moved,to wipe the last of the fallen tears from her eyes, a young man wearing a red kimono(?)(don't know what to call it) sat beside her.

"You know it's not your fault," he told her when she looked up and realized he was there,"There wasn't anything you could do to help her. She chose her path long ago and even though she helped us I guess she just wanted to hurt you."

"I know, Inuyasha, but I know that there was some good in Danira." she said as she layed down to look at the stars,"were almost there you know. All we need is the last jewel shard then I can make that wish I told you about."

"Are you sure you want to do this? It's not easy being like this."He said looking down on her stil figure.

"Um hum."She hummed back"I'm sure." she said, yawaning and rubbing her tear swollen eyes,"It's the only way."She said before rolling over and dozing off.

This story really sounds emotionalless and I honestly can't follow the story line.

Thanks for the advice but all I can do Right now is type incoherent words because I'm half blind and until I get glasses I wont be able to see the smallest of mistakes. Plus I'm swimming in P.E, so the chlorine is not helping any(my eyes burn so bad that I'm sitting 6" from the cpu screen and that doesn't help eighther,I'm far sighted In the eye that does work!) :chidori8S:

YA know, theres another story on here with the same title...Its got to be one of the best stories I've ever read. Hopefuly this one can be just as good...

Just then a voice was heard talking to some one in the trees.

" If you were her you'd do the same thing, Sango!" The Person said stepping out of the trees.

"Inuyasha! What a suprize! We weren't expecting you to be back so early." she said before crawling into her sleeping bag."I know how Kagome feels but I just don't inderstand how it is that she could leave her human family to become a...Deamon."

"Then you don't understand what she is going through and you don't need to know that there is another way for her to be like me but it won't work unless she is near death."He said a look of worry in his eyes.The tears he had been holding back all day came pouring out. Now that he had to tell them everthing he was scared at what they would say when he told them what he had done." When you wake up tomorrow Kagome will not be in camp. She has been kidnapped by a man named Renji Moruki. We will go to the abandoned mill in the village of Sutone. I hired him to do this. By this time he will have already made it to the mill."

"Inuyasha what are you talking about?"Miroku asked lost as to where the conversation was going.

"Inu you didn't! Why? Why would you do that to the woman you love?"Sango said distressed by what she had just heard."What could you have possibly been thinking?''

"Sango please don't fret! She is the hands of the only other hanyo I trust to do as I say without screwing up.He was one of my fathers men." Nothing else to be said he left into the forest heading towards the Sutone village and the mill where Renji was holding Kagome hostage.

"Inuyasha."Kagome said through the pain. She hadn't known getting stabbed 10 times by a man that said he was working for the love of her life would hurt so bad.
"Inuyasha."she whispered as she saw the world go blank. "Inuyasha." she mouthed before she finaly fainted.

"Kagome! Kagome, wake up! Kagome! Please don't die on me."

"Inuyasha?"

"Kagome! Oh thank heavens.Please Kagome do as I ask you to and drink up." Inuyasha said holding his palm to her mouth. On it was a neat slice, made by the Tetsusiaga.She took one weary look at it and said, "Your hurt."

"Not as bad as you are, now drink."

"Your blood?!" she asked suprized by his odd request.

"Please, Kagome!" He pleaded. "If you don't you'll die soon."

"Yeah. Okay I'll do it."She said. Her voice was So weak you could tell her life would fade any moment.

As she drank she felt her life being restored. When she was finished she checked her wounds.

"I'm healed?!" She cried.

"Kagome the day after tomorrow is the new moon." Inuyasha told her.

"Yeah and? So we'll protect you." She said looking around for her would be murderer. He was dead.

"No. Yes."Inuyasha said *Sigh*,"Kagome on the day after the new moon your out look on life will change.You can no longer die as easily.Also you and I..."

"What are you talking about?"

"You'll see"

"Sango it's been 2 days since Inuyasha saved me" Kagome said with a sigh of contentment. "Everything seems to be normal but I feel diffrent. Sango I don't understand it. I meen I love Inuyasha but what would drive himto tell me about tonight being the new moon? Come on! What else would happen tonight other than him going ya know?"

"I don't know."

It was dusk when she met up with Inuyasha. She had to get this offf her chest. It had been buging her all day.

"Inuyasha? Can we talk?" She asked looking into her mist grey eyes."Privatley." she added with her back turned to the eaves droppers.

"Feh.What's there to talk about?"

"I'll take that as a yes!"

She led him to meadow. She sat down and patted the spot next to her so he could sit down.

"Look I know that you saved my life back there but I was wondering if there was another reason that you let me drink your blood."

"Kagome I .... I wanted you to be happy and to me if you wanted to bacome Hanyo then I would have helped in any way possible."

" Thank you." She said before kissing him. "Thank you so much now that I finaly have what I was wishing for I have another wish for the Shikon No Tama."

"Kagome I.. I have wanted to tell you hw I fell for so lng but I could never find the right words. I felt like I ove you wouldn't cut it. But now I think I've come up with a way."He said getting down onto one knee,"Kagome will you marry me?"

"Inu..Yasha! YES!!! Yes I will."she said before kissing him.

"I guess there is only one thing left to do my love.lets make sure we get married and there is only one way to do that and thats to use th same process that we'll use to make sure you become a hanyo tommorow at sun up."

As false dawn peeked over the horizon sango stirred to go to the hot spring. She quiqkly gathered all her stuff and took note that Inuyasha and Kagome weren't any where in sight.

"Well at least someones has any fun." she sighed,"It doesn't seem like we can get along lateley and with all thats been going on Miroku and I havent had the time to have a proper honeymoon." Another sigh and she left.

Miroku woke up to see Inuyasha and Kagome arrive back at camp.
Yawning, he glanced over at shippo and kirara ,who were still sleeping.
"So..." he said, aperverted smirk on his face all the while.

"Shudup, Hoshi!" Inuyasha growled," You ready?'' he asked kagome.

"as ever" Was her response as he pulled her in for a hug.

As the first rays of true dawn touched down on the camp Inuyasha started to pulse.

Shippo awoke feeling the familiar aura surround him. He loved the sight of Inuyasha Turning back into a hanyou even if he didn't say it aloud. But today was different as he watch the hanyou bend down to kiss kagome, still pulsing.

'Once, Twice, Three times', the hanyou counted in his head. It was then that he heard to collective gasps come from his companions.

He pulled his head away and slowly opened his eyes and met her now hazel ones. He, too,gasped.

She didn't look liked he had imagined. she was even more beautiful than that.

"That bad." she said hearing his heart skip a beat. ' wait I heard that!!'

"Wow!!" was all he managed while taking in her cute dog ears and white hair.

Her clothehad changed also.Instead of her uniform she was wearing a gift from Lady Ashe. The same woman who had made Inuyashas 'Robe of the Firerat'.
The haori was wrist length ang had a beautiful bluegreen color to it.
The hakamas were black and she also wore bluegreen slippers. tucked behind her ear was a single black rose. her lips were a soft rose petal pink.
