Why do you think that Inu No Taisho left Sesshomaru's mother? I prefer not to think because of Izaioi, but I would like to hear your opinion.

Also, what type of scenario do you picture if Sesshomaru ever met Izaioi? :boxing:

It's fan-made, but my theory is one that Sesshomaru_Sama_Fan came up with. In one of her fics, she shows a scenario where Sesshomaru's mother was captured while away and gone for so long, InuTaisho and Sesshomaru gave her up for dead, and InuTaisho then thinking she was dead, chose Izayoi as his mate, and I'm sure Sesshomaru has seen Izayoi. Thing is that Sesshmom escaped in her story and found out what happened, but didn't hold any animosity to InuTaisho for his actions, just instead choosing to stay away since he'd bonded so much with Izayoi by then.

THIS IS MADE UP BUT ONE LIKELY SCENARIO!!!
InuKimi and InuTaiShou were an arranged marrige so not much love was there. But one day he runs into young beautiful Izayoi they have flings, he make tetsuaiga. He decides then and there that Sesshoumaru has a strong hate for humans and will never be able to own the sword so he asks Izayoi if she could bare him a son in order to have an heare to his powerful sword of protection. IN his mind a half demon would be perfect to hold the sword so IMO they really didn't love eatchother and his fling with Izayoi was just so he could have someone to take over his sword
From what I have seen of mama sesshy I don't she really much cared either

I kinda got infatuated as soon as I saw her. She really is pretty, way prettier than Izayoi in my opinion.

I can tell you that Kari DID NOT steal your story. Talk with her first when she gets back before you start making accusations.

I like Karis idea and it does sound quite logical

I still think Izayoi is prettier. SesshyMomma kinda looks like some weird clone of InuPapa, Inuyasha and Sesshy in my opinion.

BUT.

I think what happened is SesshyMomma and InuPapa were pretty close, but not in a lover way. More a friendly/sibling way. Someone posting above me suggested arranged marriage. Though I think, more likely, they just THOUGHT they cared for each other in a romantic way. So, they have a bouncing baby demon, Sesshy, but this isn't enough to keep them together. InuPapa promises to stay close to the family, and runs off. I imagine a lot of Sesshy's anger comes from a bad beginning in life. Like, InuPapa and SesshyMomma realized they didn't love each other romantically after lots of screaming and yelling and frustration and big demon-doggy fights. Sesshy was nurtured around anger, and then as he was older turned his anger to Inupapa for leaving his mother and him. And it only got worse when InuPapa banged some human chick, and got her preggers, and then entrusting the sword to Inuyasha. Like kind of a, "THANKS A LOT, DAD" thing. ANYWAYS, I think InuPapa (until his death, of course) and SesshyMomma were like, chummy, and SesshyMomma didn't mind his thing for Izayoi because she didn't feel possessive over him or anything.

Pure speculation on my part, and if some parts are wrong, I've only seen SesshyMomma once, and only know that Sesshy is pretty bitchy to her. (Anger at mother for not stopping InuPapa for leaving, perhaps?)
