I'm happy about the latest chapter. While the jiraiya/Pein fight was really good, it was kind of a relief to move onto something else for a change. Although....it would have also been nice if the fight would have ended, then moved on....but oh well I suppose. *Shrugs*

I totally agree. As much as I love Jiraiya, his fight is pretty boring.

I commented that I think the Destined Child could be anyone, just it depended on who got there first. So it could have been Pein, but the way Naruto has grown as shown that he is the DC.

Some people think both Pein and Naruto are the DC. Somehow.

Not Tsunade's fault. She sucks at gambling, I don't think she assumes this will be a time where she'll be right. Well, she's hoping it won't be.

Of course, Tsunade HAS won at gambling in the past. When Jiraiya was searching for her and stuff, before the big fight they had, she won at slots, and in the Saving Gaara Arc she wins some sort of lotto ticket before/around Gaara's death.

She wins before something bad happens.

So, if she wins this bet, by Jiraiya dying, does that mean something even worse is coming?

Ugh.... if something worse where coming, I see it as Akatsuki gets a hold on Naruto, Naruto dying, or her dying. That what I see happening if it's going to get worse.

And we can't blame Tsunade for what happened. No matter what she would have said or done, Jiraiya would have gone after Pein no matter what. But, I read a very good point, which I hope will be true.

Naruto is a shonen manga, and in shone manga, if a cool character dies, but brings themselves back to life with sheer will power don't die the next time you see them. It just doesn't happen.

But, than again, since when does Kishimoto-sensei follow the rules. TT^TT

How is it HP.... Sirius died and didn't come back to life, Jiraiya has. Also, we just found out that he was he's godfather, but with Sirius, we knew for like..... two and a half books. They're pretty different situation here.

AND NARUTO HAS ENOUGH FUCKING DRAMA TO LAST A LIFE TIME, IT'S LIKE A SOAP OPERA OR SOMETHING.

Like, Naruto is a normal boy, but everyone hates him. Then one day, he's tricked into doing something for this asswipe called Mizuki. Then Naruto learns he has |337 firefox skillz, and his teacher throws himself in the way of an attack meant for Naruto. Some crap happens, Naruto is revealed to like some chick, who, like every other girl in Naruverse, has a total thing for Sasuke, some dark kid with an emo past who's Naruto's rival. They all get on a team together, and their teacher (who also has an emo past) and them head out on missions. Then, some more crap happens, they meet a woman who's (duh duh duh) secretly a man, and in a homosexual relationship with some crazy murderer. They both die horrible, emo deaths.

Then more crap happens, like the Chuunin exams. Sasuke gets bitten by a flamboyant homosexual pedophile (Orochi) during said exams. At some point we discover that Orochi used to be lovers friends with Naruto's mentor. Naruto and said mentor, Jiraiya, go on a mission to get some ho named Tsunade. She becomes leader of the village, after a long segment solely centered on her emo past and the fact that despite she's a doctor she's afraid of blood. Then Sasuke leaves the village to run off with Orochi, therefor repeating history.

Time passes, everyone's more skilled, blah blah blah. The threat of the Akatsuki (AKA the traveling freak show) becomes larger, and Naruto's brother figure dies a death by a transvestite who's working with some pedobait (said pedobait has an emo past and, ironically, was once partnered with Orochi). Then Gaara gets brought back from the dead. More crap happens. Sasuke kills Orochi (but Orochi's not really dead! DUH DUH DUH) and then hooks up with a Child Molester In Training, Suigetsu, Crazy Fangirling Bipolar Slut Karin, and Psycho Murdering Emo Talker-To-Birds Juugo. Then he heads out to defeat his brother, who killed their entire family. Naruto and co. head out to find Sasuke, because Naruto has homosexual brotherly love for Sasuke.

(Cue dramatic music.)

But while Naruto is off, Jiraiya goes on a suicidal mission that will be rife with emo flashbacks, and says goodbye to the woman he never got to get together with, even though they both most likely love each other. It turns out the person he's going to fight is actually many people, and the main one, and Pein's partner, are his former students. He then proceeds to lose an arm, vocal ability, and his life. BUT, he forces himself back to life with sheer willpower, either to:

a) die again.
b) survive.

Looking back at the series, I don't think we need more drama. But, it would follow the Soap Opera Code of Conduct for him to die, though he could always survive. Soap operas' predictability is unpredictable because of certain things being interesting and dramatic either way.

Congrats Kaitlyn! You just summed up the whole Naruto series in five paragraphs and only using the word 'emo' seven times! It must be a world recorder.

Anyway, Jiraiya isn't allowed to die again until he kisses Tsunade or Orochimaru. Since he has done neither yet, he can't officially die. I mean, why the hell do you think Kishimoto-sensei is bringing Oro back?! So he can kiss Jiraiya! DUH!

41 is the furthest Shippuuden is at the moment, so yeah.

Well, we're only on the Sai Arc in Shippuuden, so it's pretty damn far away. Like, we have the Zombie Team Arc, for one. That'll take a long while. Think, around hundred plus, probably, since they drag things out like crazy.

There's the Sasgay and Orochi-I-Am-Pedo fight..... The Sasgay and Deidara fight..... Um... Naruto training arc (which is in the Zombie Arc). Yeah... I think that's all the arcs. Now I wouldn't be surprised if there was more.

Shippuuden don't need filler arcs, the manga's way too ahead.

No new chapter next week, 'cause of holidays.
