>>.. Yeah, the 'Let's not rush our love, my sweet honey~!'.. it was the mangaka in me..
Hi! ^ ^ Names' Kira, last name is complicated. >>;; No seriously, it's very long and tedious to say.
The title is probably bugging some people out. Like, 'Eh? What's up with that?' but it's Japanese for Rush Hour. If you say it really slow, Ra-sshu a-wa, you can hear it. ^ ^;; I thought it was super creative~! Because this is the main focus of our story.
Rasshu awa is kinda like Kansai-ben in a way, it's a bit like slang. And in restaurants in Japan, when it gets busy, the boss sometimes yell 'Rush hour'--or so in the ramen shop across the street from my apartment. >>;; So you must have guessed that this story is centered around cooking. -__- I had to do some research on knives and cooking terms, in later chapters there's some Japanese vocab, but I explain the meanings at the end.
Note: I did use the term Yankee, please do not be offended by this term. >,> In Japan, we call delinquents yankees. In all seriousness. It's not meant to be offensive (actually.. >> I think it is meant to be.. But I don't mean to offend!), not meant to step on anyone.. It's just what I am around. >.< Like.. the culture.. you know.
Note: I do not own Inuyasha. >> Damn mangas too long. -Rumiko gives me a look- >>;; But it's a very beautifully drawn manga.. All rights reserved.. Takahashi owns all characters of Inuyasha.
I own this storyline, plot, and single character, Hanazawa Nao! |
Story Time!
Ch1 Prologue
The sky was a smearing painting of gray and orange. The sun—blocked by the clouds, and the air was extremely heavy. So thick that anyone could tell that rain was not far away. On depressing weather like this, the city park would be empty.
However… in the court area, the heavy bouncing of a basketball and the footwork of at least six weary players resounded throughout the area.
These sounds were very familiar every weekend. A three-on-three game, restaurant versus restaurant—one was a confectionary shop by the name of Ray and the other an uppity little place called Dawn. Dawn only served dinner and lunch courses, no dessert. Ray served nothing but dessert, and arbitrary selections such as Milk Caramel Tea.
The managers of Ray and Dawn absolutely hated one another’s business. While the workers… well they conversed freely with one another, they were also in relationships. They too did not understand the rage between their managers. They just could not get along with each other.
Time got the better end of the situation; soon rain trickled down slowly over them. That meant the end of the game. And once again, it was a healthy tie between the competing restaurants.
”I am SO tired of tying with you,” a fiery orange haired woman, in her late teens’ complained. She had three piercings in her left ear, and one piercing in her right; long eyelashes, narrow, cat’s eyes, a thin nose, full lips and an overall small face. She spoke using Kansai-Ben slang. That rough style of speaking just pushed her beauty aside and gave her a dangerous, yankee appearance—so delinquent to say. And this woman was the owner and manager of Ray, third year student at Kouhju (K) High school, Hanazawa Nao.
“I would hate to agree with you, you graceless tomboy. But I also hate tying with you,” the suave owner of Dawn harshly said; tall, thin, broad shoulders and straight-laced personality that was Taisho Sesshomaru.
Exasperated sighs roared after them. The hired help, Ray’s waitress, Higurashi Kagome and assistant chief, Tamayou Sango crossed their arms in disapproval—both thinking the same. “You think we’ll stay in this rain for your argument,” were their adamant expressions.
And Dawn’s employees felt the same. The younger brother of Sesshomaru, Taisho Inuyasha grimaced at his older brother. Thinking he couldn’t be more immature, Sesshomaru’s behavior was surprising during the weekends. His competitive side grew vicious. The last member of Dawn, Monno Miroku was something of a cook in training, but all the dates he had in between time prevented him from learning. Somewhat of a playboy’s personality, Miroku was currently courting Sango—Inuyasha steadily dating Kagome.
These four were second years at K High, while Sesshomaru was the eldest of them all, only being two years older then Nao. He was a culinary student at a cooking college, and he lived right next door to his inherited restaurant. Nao lived in the same building, just a floor below.
She felt it was a curse to live below him. Because every weekend after their game of basketball, mahjong, tennis, or football, he would purposely overrun the water in his bathtub just so it would leak through her apartment. Nao could dreadfully remember the insistent dripping of the water trickling down from the ceiling onto her hardwood floors or into a plastic bowl already full. It was terrible.
“I hope you don’t plan to overrun your faucet tonight.” Nao said, while picking up her worn out basketball.
“I said it was an accident.” Sesshomaru shrugged; an innocent glint in his eyes.
‘Like I’d fall for that,’ Nao thought. “You won’t get away with it this time. I have something extra special for this night. I DARE you to do it,” she said.
“I don’t need an open invitation,” Sesshomaru said, derisively. Indeed, what he did was not an accident. He was curious of her reaction. Every response she had was different—he found her a bit interesting—that didn’t mean he had a liking for her; they were rivals of course.
Because of the bad weather, both teams decided to retreat to their homes; all the while hoping the weather got better tomorrow.
Nao dreaded when Sango and Kagome asked for her to walk them home. It always meant that she would run into Sesshomaru—whom she hated. She thought the guy was shady, mysterious, and moody. When he was still attending high school he was the same. Top of his game at everything—president of the student council, leaving her to be lousy vice president, everyone knew that that was the worst position. Vice presidents always do all the work. Nao couldn’t understand him in high school or now, not even for a moment.
Waving her friends off, Nao headed home. It was at least four blocks away. And on her second, she turned the corner just to see Sesshomaru. With his hands shoved deep in the pockets of his loose jeans, his shirt soaked from the rain or was it sweat? His hair put away in a neck ponytail—with an alluring look in his eyes like he were trying to spellbind her.
She quickly looked away, “What are you doing here?” she asked him, it wasn’t like she cared, but her tone sounded oddly sincere. Somehow though, her eyes found themselves eying him, searching him—scanning him like a book; she didn’t want the half-ass, lame information, she wanted the big picture. She wanted to know this mysterious Sesshomaru.
“We live in the same building,” he said, simply.
“So,” Nao replied, her tone laidback.
“So, I must also go the same way. What are you retarded or something?”
He took his hands from his pockets and walked away, his silky locks fluttering after him.
Nao buried her face in her hands as she trudged after him. “You think someone will follow your weird ass!” she thought but did not say. She wasn’t afraid of getting in an argument with him but, she just felt a horrible migraine coming along.
Upon reaching the building, instead of sharing an elevator with the King of Ice Sesshomaru, Nao jogged up three flights of stairs. She’d rather take the stairs then get in an elevator with him. Walking down the breezy walkway, Nao fumbled around in her pockets, and found her keys once she was at her door. She opened the door; stepped inside and slammed it shut, locking the chain lock and door.
First, she had in mind to take a shower, but…
A noise near the kitchen interrupted her thoughts. “Is something… dripping?” she asked herself aloud, walking towards the kitchen she stared at the ceiling. And it didn’t surprise her that her ceiling had an obnoxious, grungy water leak forming. She almost screamed out in fury.
“The hell is that!” she pulled at her orange hair, ‘that damn Sesshomaru!’ she thought.
Stomping back over to the door, she unlocked the door and slung it open forcefully. She curved her small hand around the base of a metal baseball bat and grinned malevolently, thinking she would really pay him back with an all non-expense paid trip to the hospital.
“Oh Sesshomaru-san…” she purred tauntingly—her voice sounded like one of those creepy girls in the horror movies.
But just as she was on the move, a loud crashing noise stopped her dead. She was afraid to turn around. The sound was so loud, it shook the floor.
Slowly, she gathered the courage to look back, her eyes widened in horror.
There was a huge hole in the ceiling! And in the middle of her conjoined kitchen and living room was a bathtub, with Sesshomaru, still fully clothed trying to climb his way out of it. Nao looked up at the gigantic hole once more, she then looked at Sesshomaru. She felt her grip on the bat tighten, and her feet somehow inched towards him, treacherously.
“You…You…” she mumbled incoherently, her voice filled with rage. She was going to kill him and no one would ever know. She would sell his restaurant, and pay off his workers. His brother wasn’t that fond of him anyway, it would be okay she thought. Sesshomaru caught wind of a dangerous aura. He looked up to see Nao approaching him dangerously with a metal bat in hand.
“What are you doing with that!” he shouted, holding up his hands to stop her.
“I am going to kill you!” she screamed, breaking into a run she held the bat sturdily over her head. Her eyes wide with temporary insanity—her mouth bent in a weird grin.
A piece of hardwood that jet out from the floor stopped her from committing the crime. It scrapped her foot, sending her toppling forward. The bat jumped from her hands, she crashed into Sesshomaru and they both fell back into the bathtub, water splashing everywhere.
“I told you not to overrun your damn water!” Nao yelled, with her hands at Sesshomaru’s neck. She wouldn’t be able to beat him motionless with the metal bat but her hands could at least strangle him.
“What the, get your damn hands off of me!” Sesshomaru yelled, his hands covered Nao’s and he jerked them away from his neck. Her yankee appearance wasn’t just for show, he thought, begrudged now.
Nao realized the situation after that rough shove. She was lying on top of him, with her legs dangling outside the tub. Sesshomaru was lying with his back against the head of the tub; his incredibly long legs were draped outside the tub as well. Both of them were drenched from head to toe. But Nao was the only one embarrassed.
“This wouldn’t have happened if you just—“ Sesshomaru covered her mouth with his hand and leaned towards her. Nao blinked furiously, “Mhmm..!” she screamed from underneath his hand.
“You hear something?” He asked suddenly.
Nao shook her head. She didn’t hear anything. Nao pulled his hand from her mouth and frowned, “What is wrong with you, stupid.”
“I heard something.”
“Well I see dead people.” Nao said, ironically, while lifting herself from the bathtub.
“Wait, don’t!” Sesshomaru yelled. But it was too late. All of the weight—the bathtub, Nao, Sesshomaru, it was just enough to break through the hardwood floor and send them falling through the floor.
“Ahh!” Nao screamed as she ducked back into the bathtub and unconsciously grabbed hold of Sesshomaru.
They hit the floor with a BANG and the shock was so strong Nao shook.
“This is all your damn fault!” Nao shouted. She harshly shoved her hands into his chest before getting out of the tub. They were in some kind of storage closet. It was dusty. In the corner of the room was a tall stack of futons that almost reached the ceiling. Bright yellow cleaning buckets cluttered the floor, along with a few shelves stocked with cleaning supplies. Not to mention it was dim and moist, the air made Nao’s skin crawl.
Nao felt a pain in her foot; she cringed and fell on her butt. “Ow…” she murmured. She carefully picked around the wound, cursing in silence the day she met Sesshomaru. A crack of light broke through the darkness, and then a splash of light followed afterward.
A pudgy, bald, glasses wearing man stood with his brows furrowed in anger.
“Taisho-san! Hanazawa-san! What the hell is this!” he shouted, pointing at the ceiling.
Nao looked over her shoulder back at Sesshomaru and pointed, “He did it.” She said.
“What?” Sesshomaru said, crossing his arms, “Like hell if I did it. Your overweight body caused us to fall this close to Hell.”
“What the…you want to fight or something? Because I will beat the **** out of you, got that?” Nao’s crude Kansai-Ben slang was striking out at him in all fury.
“SHUT UP! SHUT UP!” the pudgy man shouted.
Nao and Sesshomaru both shut their mouths—he was the landlord, so they had no choice.
Nao and Sesshomaru both sat quietly, but they were sending each other hostile glances from time to time. The landlord explained the situation calmly to them in his apartment. That the bathtub only destroyed Sesshomaru’s floor, Nao’s roof and the storage closet; both were relieved that only their roofs were damaged—paying for anyone else’s damages would be too expensive.
“Where do you plan to sleep tonight?” the landlord asked while lighting his cigarette.
“Do you have another complex open that I could rent until my roof is fixed?” Nao asked.
“Ahh…” the landlord groaned. He took a long drag from his cigarette, tilted his head back and blew smoke into the air. “We have one on the fourth floor; only one though. Which one of you wants it?” he asked.
“I do.” Nao and Sesshomaru said simultaneously.
Nao smiled strangely, “I should get this room. Mine was destroyed because of your carelessness Sesshomaru-san.” She tried to seem forgivable but her eyebrows twitched in frustration.
“The landlord said that the floors were weak anyway. You don’t have a say to the room.” Sesshomaru said, smiling just as equally creepy.
Nao began to laugh, “Hahaha…” she laughed. Her eyebrows still twitching, her smile still odd—she was trying so hard to control herself.
“So…I think you should just find somewhere else to go for the night. You can’t out bid me in rent with that confectionary shop change you make everyday.” He added; his smile a deadly façade.
“Hahaha…LISTEN YOU STUDIP ASS SONOFABITCH THIS **** WAS YOUR DAMN FAULT YOU LAME ASS, SILVER HAIRED JACKASS! YOU CAN KISS MY FUCKIN ASS, YOU INTROVERT MONKEY!” Nao screamed, rising from her chair.
“YOU DARE TO TALK TO ME LIKE THAT; SOMEONE WHO CAN’T COOK ANYTHING BUT STUPID ASS SWEETS?” Sesshomaru yelled back, also rising from his seat.
“PISS THE **** OFF MORON! THE ROOM IS MINE!” Nao growled, she grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled his face close to hers, “I dare you to piss me off any more then right now.” She whispered menacingly.
Sesshomaru thumped her forehead, and slapped his shirt from her grasp, “I don’t need an open invitation,” he growled, frowning he straightened his shirt.
“Why don’t you just share the room?” the landlord ignorantly suggested.
“HELL NO.” they both said in unison, once again.
“I am not sharing a room with him!” Nao yelled, she was adamant; she was also furious and tired, her foot throbbed and she wanted to take care of it before it got infected. Her head was hurting worst then before. ‘And it’s all his fault’ she thought. The last thing she would ever do was share a room with him.
Twenty minutes later…
“I can’t believe I am sharing this apartment with you.” Nao groaned as she hopped up the stairs to keep off her swollen foot. She carried a garbage bag full of clothes, towels, underwear, and her school uniform. Plus a small yellow duffle bag that carried her toothpaste and toothbrush and other necessities she needed.
It was decided by the landlord forcefully that they would share the apartment until their rooms were repaired. By the looks of the wood, and the fall, it would be a while before they would move back in.
Nao did consider returning home to her grandparents, but that would only burden them. And the restaurant and her school were too far away to commute too. Sesshomaru didn’t like his stepmother, Izayoi. With the income he made from the restaurant he did think about putting himself up in a classy hotel, but then again, he was careful with money. The only thing he was worried about was being killed in his sleep. He realized that Nao was a dangerous girl—not only her hard-on appearance, but she truly was a perilous girl. He always thought of her striking appearance as a front, but not anymore.
It was already late and the hostile roommates were ignoring each other’s existence—they spoke through post-it notes Nao found left in the kitchen drawer. If one didn’t like something or wanted something, it was written on the post-it. But between the two of them, they both thought the post-its were jokes. So they wrote insulting messages to one another until they grew tired of each others presence and left to separate bedrooms.
The apartment had two bedrooms, one kitchen conjoined living room, and one bathroom. It was pretty nice, though Nao thought the kitchen could use some class. It was old fashioned yellow wood, a big difference from her stainless steal haven.
Nao’s room was very quiet, small but comforting. Soon enough she drifted off to sleep—expecting everything that happened to have never happened at all—a dream—a horrible, horrible nightmare that’s what she wanted to wake up from.
Woow... There's actually screeners on the curse words..

Whoot!
That was awesome, and I'm not one to really read Inuyasha fanfictions.
I guess the title caught my interest. ^^
Anyways, I love your descriptiveness. Seriously.
And Nao seems like an awesome character so far.
Please continue.

Thank you very much for your comment. ^ ^ I tried to make Nao seem as human as possible. Not Mary Suish but her own individual character.
I plan to post pictures of both Sesshomaru (my style) and Nao in some poses.
^-^ But thank you for replying. And I am happy that you enjoyed my story!

Ch2 Type A
Nao woke to a boring looking room. A bag of clothing was three feet from her, and a yellow duffle bag was at the foot of her futon. She groaned, “I must…have been cleaning… last night.” She tilted up her digital clock before wearily pulling herself out of bed. ‘School’, she thought disdainfully. She slid the shoji halfway, peeking out she gasped; her apartment was completely foreign to her eyes.
“Where’s my leather sofa? My TV? And what’s up with this tacky looking kitchen? Where is my stainless steal?” she asked herself while she crept softly. That’s when she remembered, “Oh,” she muttered, rubbing her chin, “…I must have redecorated.”
‘That’s it.’ She convinced herself. She walked over to the kitchen counter and plugged up her stereo. She pressed play on the CD selection and the speakers boomed—playing a mix CD she burned some time ago.
As ‘Beat It’ by Micheal Jackson poured into the room—so loud it vibrated the floor underneath her—Nao opened the refrigerator, there was nothing but a carton of eggs. “What…” Nao moaned, disappointed. She grabbed the carton, put it on the counter and opened the bottom cabinets. It was bare. Not a single pan, pot, or drainer, Nao thought something was seriously wrong.
“What is going on here…” she looked around, holding her head with a worried expression, “…this doesn’t make any sense.”
Nao stepped into the living room, which was also bare of any furniture, and noticed a large box near the front door. She opened the box, impulsively, and held her breath. “Ahh!!” she screamed out in excitement, while pulling out the contents of the box.
“KERSHAW SHUN KNIVES!” she whipped out the blade and twisted it around the handle, admiring the triangular cutting edge.
“These are…house warming gifts!” Nao supposed. She found a non-stick omelet fry pan and admired it. She read the label, “All-Claddo…” The name was in English, so it must have been foreign cookware. ‘Luc~ky’ she thought.
Finding the inspiration to cook, she took the frying pan, found some pepper and grabbed a spatula. She danced over to the stove and flipped on the light. She cracked three eggs, threw them into the pan and rocked to the music.
(A/N: XD I’ve actually done this… Ask any Japanese person you meet! They will tell you their first favorite artist was either Prince or Micheal Jackson!)
She held the end of the spatula to her mouth and lip-sung the lyrics, “They told him don't you ever come around here. Don't wanna see your face, you better disappear!” She spun around and clapped, wiggled her hips from left to right, “The fires in their eyes and their words are really clear. So beat it, just beat it!” She took the frying pan off the stove and flipped the eggs with the turn of her wrist. The eggs were still sizzling and her body was still swaying to the music. Not having a care or body rhythm, she continued to mouth out the words while shimmying back over to the box, to grab a plate. “Showin' how funky and strong is your fight. It doesn't matter who's wrong or right!” Nao pulled a plate from the bottom of the box, flipped the egg out of the pan and moon walked it back into the kitchen. Dropping the plate on the counter, with her back facing the front door she shook her hips and swayed her hands—her display was a little seductive.
Unknowingly to her, the front door crept open and Sesshomaru stepped inside. Wearing a brown overcoat, his hair a tangled mess with a few loose strands hanging in his face—he also wore a pair of jeans with a brown striped dress shirt. He slipped off his shoes, and threw his jacket on the floor. He was already angry that he had to go grocery shopping; now he was even more annoyed with the music blaring. He could see a glimpse of Nao doing something in the kitchen and he could smell eggs frying.
‘She’s dancing.’ He thought, while controlling his laughter. She was uncoordinated, but he was aroused by the shaking of her well-shaped hips and ass. He crossed his arms, expecting her to stop at any moment, but she didn’t.
“Hey!” he yelled over the music. Nao spun around and dropped the spatula.
“What are YOU doing here?” she asked.
Sesshomaru didn’t answer instead he stared at the spatula that lay on the floor. “You went into my box?” he asked, snatching the spatula off the floor and throwing it into the sink. “How dare you go through my stuff?” he growled.
“Your stuff?” Nao murmured; it was slowly coming back. So was the pain from the fall she had yesterday. She placed the pan on the stove and sat on the floor. “It wasn’t a nightmare.” She muttered, “It was the real thing.”
“What?” Sesshomaru said, confused. He looked around the kitchen. On the table were a plate of eggs that were burnt on the edges but the yolk was completely intact. He admitted that she had some culinary skill. He pulled the plug on the stereo and started his way back into the living room to the groceries.
Nao couldn’t be more traumatized but she had to get ready for school. She silently got off the floor, grabbed her uniform from her room and left to take a shower.
Sesshomaru dragged the bags from the living room, and into the kitchen. He couldn’t stop himself from laughing. It was such a sight to see too. A yankee girl dancing to Michael Jackson? It was unexpected, but it made her seem more human to him—at least more feminine. “Without the earrings and the bright hair color…” Sesshomaru thought aloud, “…she might look cute.”
Sesshomaru washed the dishes and began to cook his breakfast. A bit happier for some odd reason—he couldn’t even explain it.
By the time he was finished, Nao was already dressed and ready for school. She had some of her hair pushed back with a black clip, while the rest whirled and curled down her shoulders. And instead of her usual three earrings, she only had one, on the top left of her ear that looked like a jacket zipper. She had on a few rings, all of them were plated bands expect the two on her middle fingers. Those two had studded crosses on them. She was dressed in her school uniform, an oversized gray sweater, with a white dress shirt and black tie underneath, and finally a black plaid skirt. Finished with a pair of black knee high socks and loafers—but the look on the wearer was anything but cute.
Nao frowned; on the kitchen table were pieces of toast, each with lettuce and eggs topped on them. Sesshomaru sat with a satisfied look on his face. He leaned on his arm, “I made extras.” He said, “You can eat them. I know you want to.”
Nao scoffed, “Like hell, it’s probably poisoned.”
“I used the eggs you made on that one.” Sesshomaru said; his hand pointing at the toast on the end.
“If you trust that one, eat something before you leave.” He said as he got up, straightened his hair and left for the door. Nao couldn’t believe how concerned he sounded.
“It must be because it’s early in the morning, and he’s feeling generous.” She whispered.
Nao heard the door open, and then slam. She stared at the toast once more before giving in and taking a large bite into the one he made. Her eyes widened, “It’s good huh?” Sesshomaru said, as if reading her mind. He tricked her. He didn’t leave at all. Nao almost choked, “Augh! Y-You idiot, why did you do that?” she stammered loudly, her face becoming red from her near death experience. Her heart was beating too fast. The way his voice crept up from behind her, it actually sounded nice, and pleasant to listen to. But of course she wouldn’t tell him that. He’d grow conceited or something, she knew, he’d think she liked him—when she couldn’t stand him.
Sesshomaru watched as Nao stormed past him, brushing his shoulder, she grabbed the spare key from beside his box and opened the door. “Am leaving.” She said, angrily. She shoved the last piece of toast into her mouth and started her walk down the walkway. Sesshomaru chuckled to himself; he gradually put the food away, taking another toast breakfast before leaving the apartment. As he reached outside, he noticed a black, foreign, Benz sitting out front. And the owner, a woman wearing flamboyant sunglasses motioned for him to come over. “Going to school, Sesshomaru-kun? Do you need a ride?” the woman asked.
“Yeah.” He said simply while walking over. He passed by the lagging Nao, but turned back to give his breakfast. “You don’t eat enough,” he said, a smug look on his face. “You won’t grow up top.” He added, while pointing at her breasts.
Nao lost it, “JUST GET IN THE DAMN CAR AND GO!” she shouted, before taking a huge, unladylike bite from the toast. Sesshomaru got into the car and they sped off, pushing up dirt and dust in their wake. Nao stared until the car disappeared, “Must be his girlfriend,” she said, starting to walk again, “…she must be really unlucky.”

At K High, it was just another day of boring classes and P.E., Nao was happy when it was over with. Kagome, Sango and Nao all changed after school into their work uniforms and left to Ray.
“Hey, Nao-chan, I wanna talk about this uniform.” Kagome said.
“What about it?” Nao asked.
Kagome stared, a strange look on her face, “What about it you say, it’s skimpy and Inuyasha doesn’t want me to wear it anymore.” She said, her voice sounded annoyed.
“The customers voted. Plus you are just so cute Kagome.” Nao flattered her. While patting her back, she smiled, “Isn’t it good to get your boyfriend jealous? And besides, at Dawn I hear they wear host uniforms.”
“What? Inuyasha wears a host uniform?” Kagome said.
“Yup.” Nao lied. Being a rival of Sesshomaru, she never took one foot into rival territory.
“Ugh, he didn’t tell me that!” Kagome mutely shouted, ‘and he’s getting mad about my uniform while he’s hosting some girl’ she thought angrily. “I’ll keep wearing this then.” Kagome said; waving her fist around. “Besides, today the costumers vote on new costumes for next week anyway.”
For the past week, Sango had to dress like a private maid—which didn’t bother Miroku in the least he actually encouraged her to wear it. Kagome was forced to wear Lolita dresses, which the boys with sweet tooth’s all adored—and finally, Nao had to wear a host’s uniform. Because most of the girls, wanted to see her dressed as a boy. Oddly enough, with her frowning face, hair pulled into a high ponytail, flashy jewelry and million dollar acting—she increased the number of female clientele.
However, today the new costumes would be chosen.
[]
“New costumes!” the girls cheered from their tables. Nao sat behind the counter with an icy cold stare in her eyes. She was really into her role as the cold, unapproachable host. Sango went around the tables, asking the costumers what they wanted, all the while saying, “Miss, Mister, or Master,” she couldn’t help but shiver at the weirdness of it all. And Kagome acted ditzy and forgetful, saying cute things like, “Kyuu and Moe,” Nao could smell the nosebleeds storming from the tables.
Nao didn’t have to do much pastry cooking since she usually restocked at night and put the sweets away afterwards. So there were plenty from the other day to sell.
By the time it hit noon, Kagome and Sango were collecting ballads from the tables to count. They poured the ballads on the table. And Nao began to open and count them. There were at least fifty ballads, twenty-five from the inside tables and twenty-five from the tables outside.
“Alright, these are the costumes for next week!” Nao shouted over the chattering voices, “Tamayou Sango will be a demon slayer, Higurashi Kagome will be a pure, maiden priestess and I, Hanazawa Nao will be a…what…” Nao said, as she stared at the paper.
Kagome took the slip from Nao’s hand and giggled, “Ha-ha, this is really funny, look Sango.” Sango read the paper and laughed as well. “I want to see this too.” She said, between chuckles.
“Hanazawa Nao will be a linchou*! A cute linchou*!” Kagome announced.
Nao frowned, “A class president with black hair and glasses… so uncool.”
Since the costumes had been decided, Nao began to lock up the store. And Kagome and Sango began clean-up. “They could have given me something else.” She muttered under her breath.
“Oi, Kagome, come on, I want to walk you home!” Inuyasha yelled from the doorway. Kagome whirled around excitedly, dropping her rag she turned to Nao, “Can I leave?” she asked.
“Yeah, you can leave too Sango, I’ll finish up here.” Nao said.
Sango and Kagome both gave Nao hugs before leaving off to their boyfriends.
“Ahh, high school love,” Nao said, sounding as if she were some old man reminiscing on his adolescent days. Working alone was something she was used to. Before she met Kagome and Sango, Nao was always working at Ray alone. And the clientele was weak before she met those two. Even though Nao hated walking them home when they asked, she really thought of them as her little sisters.
After finally finishing the work, Nao left to a beauty store and bought some black hair dye. She then made a trip to the pharmacists and picked up some cute, oversized wire-framed glasses. She decided on her way home that wearing her school uniform would be fine as a linchou costume. Nao hadn’t realized the time, but it was very late. The sky was pitch black and the lights that lined the street flickered. She began to speed up; she didn’t want to run into any weirdoes.

Sesshomaru reached the apartment, with an exhausted look in his eyes. He was too tired to even open the door. He had to clean the entire restaurant by himself because he accidentally let his workers go early. Then for some reason he had a strange desire to make a spicy Omuri sauce—and even with the extra hours he wasn’t satisfied with the result. Somehow, Sesshomaru opened the door, and let himself in. He closed the door silently, and slipped off his coat and shoes. He could smell something good cooking. He guessed by the seasonings that it was miso soup, and meat buns.
He walked into the entrance of the kitchen, but stopped. There was an unidentified girl cooking in his kitchen. She had black hair, and wore big, thin glasses that hung over her nose. “Who are you?” Sesshomaru asked, “And how did you get in here?”
“What are you talking about stupid? Are you drunk or something?” Nao said, turning to him with a wooden spoon in her mouth,
“That’s sort of cute.” Sesshomaru thought, but dared not to say. He wouldn’t compliment an unruly girl like her. He noticed that her gaudy jewelry was gone, and so were her earrings. Her hair appeared to be wet, ‘she must have dyed it,’ he thought.
“This is repayment for the breakfast. You can eat it. I know you want to.” Nao said with a smug grin, using the same tone he used that morning.
“Good, I’ll eat it then.” Sesshomaru said simply. He sat at the table and took a meat bun from the center plate. He bit into it. “It’s good, huh?” Nao said, reading his expression. She was doing and saying the same things he done that morning. It was starting to tick him off.
“It’s okay. Not perfect.” He said.
“Then don’t eat it.” Nao said, turning her back to take the soup off the stove. She made two bowls and catered them to the table. She placed the bowl in front of Sesshomaru, along with a bowl of rice and then sat down.
“Itadakimasu*,” she bowed her head before picking up her tin chopsticks and bowl to eat.
“Why’d you dye your hair? A guy broke up with you?” Sesshomaru asked.
Nao didn’t look at him; instead she focused on her food and replied, “It’s a tradition at Ray to dress up for our costumers. Anything they suggest we’ll wear it.”
“How faithful.” Sesshomaru said, sounding harshly sarcastic.
“I am a very faithful and loyal person.” Nao said, matching his derisive tone.
Sesshomaru put down his bowl and stood up, quite abruptly too. “Thanks for the food.” He said before leaving. Nao heard him leave the kitchen and then the opening and closing of the bathroom door.
“Idiot.” Nao murmured as she grumpily ate her food. “I am never cooking for that guy again.” She mentally promised. Nao thought that cooking for him would open him up a bit. But the inside of Sesshomaru was just as cold as the outside.

Update! ^ ^
Ch2a Unknown Feeling
It was early dawn when Nao’s cellphone rang loudly. Nao woke to the phone and reached for it. “Sango…” she read on the caller ID, before answering the call. “Sango, why are you calling so early?” Nao asked; she lay on her stomach with her eyes barely open. And her voice was in-between sleep and awake.
“We have a week of vacation starting today, you remember?”
Nao didn’t remember this. And that one statement was enough to wake her up. “What week of vacation?” Nao asked, completely awake now.
“You skipped your last class, so you wouldn’t know, but we have a week of vacation. Due to the classrooms being remodeled,” Sango explained.
“Oh.” Nao said, bewildered, a week of vacation meant a week of work. And early wake-up too, Nao thought it was too good to be true.
“We’re going on a trip, Kagome and I planned it yesterday. We already booked the tickets too; a trip for five to Hokkaido.” Sango said.
“Wait,” Nao said, her work day plans slowly fading, “A trip for five…that means Miroku and Inuyasha are going along too.”
“Yeah, don’t worry it’s just a three-day trip.”
“I am not going.” Nao said suddenly. Now that she thought about it, Nao would be a third wheel. Being around lovey dovey couples for three days did not sound like a good plan to her.
“I forgot to tell you that a cooking competition will be held at the hotel we’re staying at. And you-know-who might be there, don’t you want to go?” Sango asked, already knowing her answer. She was smiling in triumph on the other end.
Nao grimaced, “…fine I’ll go,” she said meekly. ‘There had to be a cooking competition,’ Nao thought, disdainfully. If she wasn’t so easy to persuade she would have adamantly said ‘NO’, but it was too late to turn back now.
[]
It was strange, Sesshomaru thought. Outside his shop window he could see Nao standing outside her confectionary shop. She was changing the sign on the door, as he could see, and it appeared that she would be closing early.
After fixing the sign, she hastily walked away, but not before taking a long last look at the shop.
What a weird girl, Sesshomaru thought as he polished the final glass from the stock counter. The place was quiet; there was no noise from the front, no costumers not a single sign of life. Sesshomaru gave Inuyasha and Miroku three days off for some vacation trip they planned; he knew that was probably a bad idea at first. But that was before his professor gave him an enticing assignment—to study for three days in Hokkaido and get the feel of a real competition. Supposedly the ones he had been winning before weren’t real enough.
Sesshomaru finished cleaning the kitchen and decided that he would leave early. It was still early in the day and he supposed he could do something other then stay in an empty restaurant all day. As he walked from his place and towards the city park, he could vaguely remember the other night he had with Nao for some odd reason.
Maybe I was a bit too harsh, he thought, entering the park. He wasn’t a talkative person, and through others eyes he was never truly understood and this made him seem cold. The lack of understanding and the lack of trying to be understood—Sesshomaru fell out of a lot of relationships with women. All of them had something in common with the last.
They all said the same thing to him when they wanted to break up, “I feel lonely when am not with you and lonelier when am with you.”
It seemed planned to him that the women he dated said the same thing before breaking up with him. But maybe this was because of his preferences for women. He liked attractive women who had independence in them—he wasn’t much for the dependent type, he thought those types were weak. And because of his lack of trying to be understood, he didn’t try to help his girlfriends he dated.
Sesshomaru sat down on a bench that was underneath a huge weeping willow and tilted his head back. He stared up into the branches, feeling relaxed, but that damn incident bubbled back to the top of his mind again.
He didn’t want to think about his attitude, but the way Nao looked when she was changing the sign on her shop bothered him. He didn’t quite understand why, but he felt that maybe Nao was the inner dependent type.
That night she made dinner for him, he was painfully truthful and he left the table, barely touching the food she made. “I was harsh,” he admitted aloud, tilting his head upward.
Even though he felt he didn’t need to, Sesshomaru thought he could at least apologize for not eating but not for his rudeness. He didn’t think what he did was wrong in the first place. Matter of fact, why should he be apologizing if he was just being his usual self. Idiotic, he scoffed, standing from the bench and pacing forward towards the exit of the park.
“I don’t see why I have to,” his mind battled, “…I am just being myself.”
[]
At home, he thought to find Nao but she was no where to be found. He checked her room, things seemed to be missing, and clothing was thrown around. On the kitchen table was a note talking about leftovers in the fridge. Maybe she wasn’t as upset with him as he thought.
Then he wouldn’t need to apologize then.
Just as he opened the refrigerator, his cellphone rang, he answered while his eyes looked over the leftovers.
“Hello,” he said, pulling a container of rice from the fridge.
“Sesshomaru, hey, it’s Kagura.” Kagura said.
“Why are you calling?” he asked, getting straight to the point. He took a seat at the table and opened the container. And with his tin chopsticks he picked at the heated rice. She must have just left after cooking these, he thought.
“To make sure you’re getting ready. No need to have such an attitude.” Kagura said.
“We don’t have to leave till six, it’s four now, there’s no need.” Sesshomaru said.
“Ara, you’re right. My clock seems to be fast.”
“You should fix that.”
“Sesshomaru…” Kagura began; her voice was a mere whisper now.
“You’ve heard my reputation and you’re still willing to be with me. It’s no use.” Sesshomaru said, sighing, “I don’t understand you.”
“But I understand you, Sesshomaru. I really don’t care for reputation, just as long—“
“Don’t say it. I’ll call you in an hour.” Sesshomaru said curtly, cutting off her response because he knew and could feel what was coming.
“…fine.” Kagura said, hanging up first.
For a while, Sesshomaru listened to the dial tone. For a moment he thought, he could just be with Kagura. But he didn’t have those feelings for her as she had for him. It would be more hurtful to her if he was with her. He grew up with Kagura, a friend was all she was to him and he knew she hated it.
Picking at the rice, Sesshomaru lost his appetite so he put it away. He left to his room and packed a bag full of clothes for the trip and took his suit in a zipper bag to keep it from wrinkling.
He wanted to rest a little, but that was disturbed by a knock at the door. Letting out a long, exasperated sigh Sesshomaru climbed from his bed and left to answer it. He opened the door, and faced the landlord.
“Sesshomaru-san how’s the room?” the landlord said, inviting himself in.
Sesshomaru stared at him, even if he was the landlord, that was an extremely rude gesture, “Fine,” he answered.
“Ahh, that’s great, I am glad,” the landlord said, “…I wanted to be sure that you two were getting along as well.”
“We’re fine,” Sesshomaru lied, “Getting along well,” his teeth could have rotted from that one sentence. No way in Hell they were getting along.
“It didn’t seem that way, I saw Nao-chan leaving this morning. She looked upset; she was carrying a bag along with her.”
“Carrying a bag, did you ask her where she was going?” Sesshomaru asked.
The landlord narrowed his brow suspiciously with a sly grin, “Curious?” he said.
“No.” Sesshomaru quickly answered, his tone deadly cold.
“Ahh, well.” The landlord said, shrugging. He walked out of the apartment, and looked over his shoulder, back to the stone-faced Sesshomaru. “But just to tell you anyway, I do not know where Nao-chan is going.”
Sesshomaru closed the door, locking it; he returned to his room and collapsed on his bed. There it goes again, that feeling of guilt in his stomach. Or maybe he was hungry? Nope, he answered himself, feeling even more lost. He even chased the girl to run away he thought.
And even if he did not want to admit it, he was a bit worried. Nao was his Kouha, she was a little cute in her own way and if she were running away she could run into some weirdoes.
Sesshomaru didn’t know how to explain this worrisome feeling that troubled his heart. The feeling that came close to mind from reading books would have to be ‘brotherly affection’. It was simple. This feeling had to compare to what he was feeling. Because he was worried for her welfare, as an older adult to a younger pupil—Sesshomaru mentally shook his head because that made sense.
Along with this worrisome feeling he also felt pissed off. The stupid girl was running away from him. He didn’t think she was so weak to run away from conflict. Knowing her, he thought she would START the conflict.
He didn’t want to think about it anymore, so many emotions were building up on top of one another in his heart, making it heavy. He set his alarm clock to five and shut his eyes; he’d sleep his feelings off.
This is going in such a direction I did not expect. >>;;
I plan to update soon. Comments and things I should do better on are well appreciated.

Ch3 Cursed Fate Pt1
[]
After six hours of hell, the plane landed and Nao slumped in her chair. She had to sit beside a teething three year old baby and this kid drooled all over her arm during the flight. Inuyasha and Kagome sat together, and Miroku and Sango sat beside them. It was not a lovely sight to see, for a girl who knew absolutely nothing on getting a guy’s affection. Or did she?
After getting off the plane and reclaiming their bags at baggage claim, the group hailed a taxi and left to the hotel. Nao sat up front with the taxi driver, a hairless man with fair tanned skin and beady eyes, he looked something like a bald eagle without the fear but humility. This space gave Nao time to think. If she was away on vacation—which she didn’t tell Sesshomaru about—he would have an early head start. Nao wouldn’t be able to catch up to his costumer count. This kind of thing was tragic for her.
The taxi revved up to a large hotel resort, a sign on the outside read: Now with Onsen, Nao was ecstatic at least for that. She would take a nice long, hot bath and relax and not care if Sesshomaru got ahead of her. This is what she thought for the moment, but her body was slowly sinking lower into the seat.
When the taxi stopped, everyone climbed out, except Nao who was on the floor.
“Is she okay?” the taxi driver asked, pointing at her compressed body.
“Yeah,” Kagome said, grabbing one of Nao’s arms.
“She does this a lot.” Sango added while grabbing her other arm. They both helped Nao out of the car and walked her into the hotel.
The hotel was beautiful. The walls were covered in vine, and the reception desk was decorated with tropical plants. The entrance hall was led by a brown, Persian rug that led to the elevators. The bar was on the far left of the reception desk and appeared vacant.
“Where did you get the money for this?” Nao asked, still viewing the hotel in surprise.
“We put our past paychecks together to pay for the hotel. And Inuyasha and Miroku paid for the roundtrip airplane tickets.” Kagome explained.
Nao was touched. Her friends would pay for her stay at the hotel. And some guys she hadn’t the opportunity to know paid for her plane ticket. “You guys,” Nao said, wiping an imaginary tear, “…you didn’t have to do this. But thanks.” Nao gathered her underclassmen group in a circle and hugged them all at once. “Thank you so much.” She murmured.
“It’s okay.” Kagome said, escaping the hug, “Stop getting so mushy, it’s unlike our Nao-chan.”
“You’re right.” Nao said, pushing them all away and crossing her arms, “I didn’t want to be here anyway. I see it as I was forced. But, I don’t plan to let this get to me. Let’s get to our rooms.”
“That’s her.” Sango and Kagome both said in unison as the group followed her to the reception table.
The receptionist told them their room numbers, and informed the group of the cooking competition that would be held at the bar. It was a formal event, so that meant no jeans and tees. But Nao knew this, she came prepared, she was only happy that her friends would not be attending. She was too embarrassed to be seen outside her normal dress code.
The rooms were spilt, girls in one room, boys in the other. Each room had two beds, one loveseat and a bathroom and was stocked with bathrobes, soap and extra blankets.
“We’re going to the beach with Miroku-san and Inuyasha-kun, wanna come?” Kagome invited, holding out an open hand to Nao.
Nao looked up from her magazine, to Kagome’s hand with an uninterested stare, “No thanks, I don’t want to be a third wheel remember.” She said, returning her glance back to her magazine.
“Don’t force her Kagome.” Sango said.
They were both dressed in their bathing suits, Kagome in a sexy backless, navy one-piece and Sango in a tropical yellow bikini, showing off her beautiful body structure with ease.
“Have fun. I think I’ll take a bath or something.” Nao said, waving her off.
“You’re not going to the cooking competition? It starts in a few hours.” Sango asked, taking a seat beside Nao and crossed her long legs. “I convinced you to go by the cooking competition, but I had no idea it was formal. Sorry, Nao.” Sango said.
“It’s okay.” Nao said, patting her back, “Now go on, go swimming—Kagome and the others are waiting on you.”
Sango got up and smiled before leaving with Kagome to the beach with the others, leaving Nao by herself.
A few calm seconds passed before Nao jumped from the bed and scampered over to her suitcase. Wildly, she pulled clothes from her bag until she reached the bottom. At the bottom was a dark navy, empire styled dress, spaghetti strapped and enticing. She held it up and examined it. It wasn’t like it was brand new; she had bought it some time ago for a special occasion. Underneath was a pair of matching heels with sown vines attached—the whole outfit made Nao seem like she was out to impress someone.
Truth was, Nao did was to impress someone. Her childhood friend, competitor of the cooking competition, and unrequited love, Okino Kouga—the person she planned to finally confront her feelings to.
“This is it.” She said, her tone sounding confident. She held up a picture of two children playing at a park. One of the children was a girl, who was covered in mud, while the other was a boy who was trying to clean the mud off the girl. Nao inwardly smiled at the picture as her heart warmed a bit. Her feelings were still there.
[]
“Come on, Sesshomaru-kun, we’re going to be late.” A woman dressed in a satin baby-doll gown persistently called. Sesshomaru was busy tying his tie; he was going to attend an event that evening with Himaiya Kagura as his escort. She was the same age he was, she was also very beautiful, but he wasn’t interested in her that way.
Sesshomaru tightened his tie and took a final look at himself in the full-length mirror. He was dressed in a suave black suit, with a black tie and white shirt; he appeared very strict and professional with his silver hair pulled back in a low ponytail.
“Alright let’s leave.” Sesshomaru said.
Kagura looked him over, “You look good.” She complimented as she boldly took his arm and walked from his room.
“Yeah.” He said, uninterested, he knew Kagura wanted a relationship with him, but he just wasn’t attracted to her in that sense. What he had on his mind though, was where Nao had left to. She didn’t leave him a note or anything; she closed her restaurant early and put up a notice that said she would be gone for three days. Sesshomaru was…surprisingly furious. It was unlike him to feel that way he thought at first, but during his flight over to Hokkaido, he realized that Nao was two years younger then him and she was still in high school. It was likely that what he was feeling was a brotherly affection for her. They had been living together for a while; he unknowingly grew used to having her around him. To bother him, or harass him—it was almost a natural brother and sister relationship, to the exception that they weren’t blood related.
Snapping back to his original train of thought, Sesshomaru thought about the cooking competition. His teacher gave Sesshomaru an assignment—to watch his teacher’s early pupil, a pastry chef by the name of Okino Kouga, to get a feel for what a real competition is about.
“I hear Okino Kouga-kun makes the most surprising desserts. I hope he let’s me try some.” Kagura said, gripping Sesshomaru’s arm tighter as they walked down the hall. Kagura wasn’t a stupid woman. She was fairly intelligent and she knew Sesshomaru wasn’t interested in her yet, but she was far from giving up.
“I just want to get this over with. I don’t like or eat sweets.” Sesshomaru replied, nonchalantly. Once they reached the elevator, he pressed the down button. They both waited in silence until the elevator appeared and they got in.
“What a festive night.” Kagura murmured out in boredom, Sesshomaru was acting as inactive as ever. Cold and distant, she wondered if he would ever show a new expression.
Once they reached the bottom floor, Sesshomaru escorted Kagura to the bar area, where the competition was starting on the last course. Okino Kouga was in the lead by three points, and the other competitor was lagging behind.
[]
Nao sat on pins and needles and she wasn’t even part of the competition. The announcer, a blond, foreign man was explaining the situation by every step. Kouga was busy cooking up a storm; the dish he was creating looked very appetizing.
Quickly, the time was going out for the competitors’ final dishes.
“3, 2, 1, Stop!” the announcer shouted over the chattering audience. “Okino Kouga, what is your dish?” he asked.
Kouga lifted his plate to the audience and explained, “Three-layer flan, caramel, chocolate and azuki paste, topped with light whipped cream and garnish.”
“Let’s have our judges taste test.” The announcer said. He took the plate from Kouga and placed it in front of the head judge. The judge slowly put his fork into the flan and pulled some into his mouth. “It is tasteful, moist; the overall balance is almost perfect. The garnish was a put-off.”
The audience moaned out in disagreement, Nao growling the loudest.
“Our next competitor, what is your dish?” the announcer asked.
“A simple fresh fruit sorbet with pineapple glaze.” The competitor explained, giving the announcer the china bowl.
“It looks rather good.” The announcer said, while passing the bowl to the head judge, “Let our head judge taste test.”
The judge once again took his time in tasting the dessert. He dabbed at his mouth with his napkin before giving his verdict. “The appearance of this dish isn’t very appealing, but the vibrant colors of the sorbet make up for it. The light taste is also a very consistent trait. You are the winner of this round.”
“The winner of this competition though, is Okino Kouga, since he was still in the lead by three points. Congratulations Okino Kouga.” The announcer said.
Nao clapped wildly, happy for his victory. However, she was unsure he would recognize her. Nao’s black hair was straightened and sleek; the dress she wore was very enticing and striking on her small frame. And she only wore a silver pendant necklace, and no earrings.
“I should meet up with him.” Nao told herself as she slowly walked through the crowd. Once she reached the front, Nao’s eyes met with his and immediately he smiled.
“Nao-chan, is that you?” he asked as he stepped down.
Nao shook her head, “Yeah, it’s me, Kouga-kun.” She said.
Her hands were in front of her, holding onto the photo of when they were young, Nao cleared her throat, “Kouga-kun, I have something I want to tell you.” She said, her voice trembling.
“Huh, what is it?” Kouga asked.
When Nao parted her lips to confess, an unidentified woman stepped over and kissed Kouga on the cheek.
“Kouga, I knew you would win! You’re the best chef.” The woman exclaimed.
Nao was horrified. She was surprised by the woman calling him by his first name, and she was shocked that she kissed him and Kouga didn’t argue.
“Ayame, come on, get off, the cameras, the cameras,” Kouga protested as he tried to get the woman, whose name was Ayame, to release him.
“Nao what were you trying to say.” Kouga asked, collecting his attention to Nao.
She didn’t look happy; her face was shocked with wide eyes and a slightly open mouth.
“Nao?” Kouga said, reaching for her.
Nao slowly backed away, slipping the photo behind her back she smiled vaguely, “It’s nothing, I just wanted to congratulate you,” she said, her feet still taking her back, “I just wanted to say good luck on your next competition, and that you should visit more often. I have to go now.” Nao turned on her heels, a single tear falling from her eye as she pushed through the crowd to leave.
Nao climbed up the stairs into the lobby and madly she punched at the buttons for the elevator.
“Hey, you, Hanazawa Nao!” a familiar voice called from behind her. Nao turned her head, it was Sesshomaru. Why is he here? Nao’s mind screamed as her hands scrambled to wipe away her tears.
Sesshomaru began to approach her with fury in his amber eyes. The elevator door opened, but like a fly caught in a venomous spider’s web, Nao was unable to leave from Sesshomaru’s penetrating gaze.

Ohhh.. gosh. What will Sesshomaru do to her. T_T I am so afraid for her well-being. Please remember to tell me what you think!

Thanks Jostanos for remaining loyal to my story. I really enjoy reading your comments too. They actually say something instead of 'PLZ update I like this'.
Here's the update. ^ ^ Hope that you enjoy it.
Ch3 Cursed Fate Pt2
Slowly, Sesshomaru approached her. Mentally, Nao was cursing the elevators slowness. She wouldn’t be able to avoid him.
“I just got something in my eyes—,”
Almost instantly, Nao felt something smooth, but fierce hit her across the face. It took her a while to realize that Sesshomaru had slapped her with the palm of his hand. Nao held her face, her eyes swelling with tears, “What, ow, why did you do that?” she asked, holding her face with a shaken hand.
“Why, you have the nerve to ask me why?” Sesshomaru raged, “Leaving off to Hokkaido without telling anyone is low, even for you.”
“Wait…” Nao murmured, removing her hand from her now red cheek, “...Where I go is none of your concern. I still don’t see why you needed to slap me for not telling you.”
“It looked like you needed it. Seeing you cry was a really weak face.” Sesshomaru said, his hand on his tie, slowly unloosening it. His face looked more relaxed after taking it off.
“My face has—“
“Let’s drink this.” Sesshomaru said, holding up a bottle of sake in front of her face.
“Where’d you get that?” Nao asked, deciding to let the argument go.
“I just took it off a table.” Sesshomaru said, nonchalantly. He was underage too, but he didn’t feel a least bit guilty about it.
“We can’t drink it here. We’ll get caught.” Nao said, sighing afterwards. Sesshomaru slapped way too hard, her face was swollen. She couldn’t understand why he slapped her. Just because she made a face that was weak? Why was that?
[]
The breeze from the ocean tickled Nao’s nose as she heavily inhaled the aroma of salt water. Sesshomaru and Nao sat on the beach, the sky above them a dark, black curtain over them. “They must have left the beach a long time ago.” Nao thought as she looked up at the sky.
“I didn’t get any glasses.” Sesshomaru informed her, as he took off his jacket. “You should sit on this, your dress will get dirty.” He said.
Nao looked at the jacket before returning her glance to the sky, “No need,” she said, with a hint of laughter in her voice, “I failed anyway.”
“What do you mean?” Sesshomaru asked, his tone sounded interested. He saw Nao’s face at the bar, she looked unlike herself; she looked pathetic and devastated right when that woman kissed Okino Kouga in front of her. He was on pins, he somewhat wanted to know. Yet he was unsure he should pry, because then, it would make it seem like he cared for her. But wouldn’t that just be his brotherly affection he convinced himself later of?
“You said we didn’t have any glasses. It’s okay, I’ll drink this.” Nao said, ignoring his question and lifting the bottle of sake into the air. She chuckled as she uncapped the bottle and took a long drink from it.
“Ahh!” she sighed, while wiping her mouth with her arm, “That’s some good sake,” she exclaimed loudly.
Sesshomaru watched as she pushed the bottle into her mouth again and chugged it with her eyes closed. She struggled a bit, her cheeks turning a bright red and her eyes closed tightly as she drowned the bottle. It was just a bit more before she fell on her back, her hair entangled in the sand, with her arms stretched out into the sky.
“Hey,” Sesshomaru said, pinching her arm, “Answer my question. What did you fail at?”
“Con-fes-sion,” Nao said playfully.
“Confession? To who?” Sesshomaru asked.
Nao closed her eyes, “Okino Kouga-kun, my childhood friend,” she said. She suddenly sat up and crouched over her knees, and continued, “When we were little he’d always say to me, ‘Nao-chan, I will always cook for you and no one else.’ I always believed him and without knowing I fell in love with him.” She explained, her words heavily slurred. Obviously she was drunk.
“I’ll name a dessert after you Nao-chan, I like you Nao-chan, we were just kids I know, but I took his words so hard. After we entered middle school together, he suddenly moved away right after my parents died. I thought I’d die if I didn’t have him with me.” Nao said, laughing a bit; her voice filled with sorrow.
Sesshomaru stared at her; her appearance was becoming softer to him, like a girl. She didn’t appear to be a delinquent, troublemaker, but a girl. “What happened?” Sesshomaru asked, for a moment he felt what he was doing was wrong. Asking her questions while she was drunk, he was obviously taking advantage but he couldn’t help himself.
“Oh you want to know? I’ll tell you. Before he left, when we were at my parent’s funeral, he promised he would find me no matter where I was. And we’d open a confectionary shop with just the two of us. But when I met him, I guess he forgot all about me. I made myself look like a troublemaker, with the piercings so no one would grow interested in me. I ignored party invitations so that I wouldn’t like anyone else; I did so much just so that when he met me I could confess. But that bastard… that bastard…” Nao began to sob now, her voice becoming a weak whimper.
“I still love him so much even now… that stupid bastard, how dare he go on with that girl in front of me…” she carried on, her crying becoming rapid, “…leaving me all alone for all those years to become famous, even when I like him this much.”
Tired of listening to her constant sobbing, Sesshomaru grabbed hold of her by the shoulders and turned her to him. She had tears pouring from her eyes, a pathetic look on her face. Was this the strong Nao he lived with? He hated the sight. For some reason, Sesshomaru was more furious that Nao liked someone so much to change herself. The fact that she liked someone… made him oddly envious. In his mind he asked himself, “Is liking someone such a pitiful feeling?”
“Then don’t like him anymore,” Sesshomaru said, before he knew it, his words grew callously serious, “Wouldn’t you hate that type of person. He sounds like someone who only thinks of himself.”
Nao shook her head, “No…” she slurred, “I could never…hate him.”
Hearing this made Sesshomaru even angrier. Because he couldn’t understand this girl, and because he never experienced a moment of perplexity in his life. But Nao brought all these feelings on like some sort of whimsical hurricane. He didn’t like it. And he wanted these feelings to stop.
Sesshomaru suddenly craned his neck over her, so that his head was over hers. He searched her intoxicated eyes, knowing she wouldn’t remember, knowing she was drunk; he inched closer until their lips touched. Harder, he forced a kiss with her. Nao did not struggle, not yet, not until the kiss became suffocating. She weakly hit his arm, the final time she grabbed hold of his shirt until her hand fell limp.
Sesshomaru parted lips with her, panting haggardly, he stared at her. She was unconscious; she must have forgotten how to breathe since she was drunk.
“Sorry,” Sesshomaru said, apathetically, “…I couldn’t stand that story.” Nothing in his mind could justify his means for that kiss that just happened. He was unsure himself of what he did. He wanted to understand her strong ‘like’ for Okino Kouga, but just found himself pissed off at her annoying sacrifice.
He let her limp body fall onto the wet sand, her hair being swept by the wind. He covered her with his jacket and stood up. Brushing the sand off, he stared at the sky with a weird expression. He felt…strangely lonely even though he kissed her. If kissing her made him feel this lonely, this utterly annoying feeling, he didn’t want to experience it again. He would have to control himself from now on.
He returned his gaze to Nao’s sleeping body, and with some hesitation he lifted her off the ground and held her in his arms as he carried her back to the hotel. Just a bit near the door was Okino Kouga, all alone too.
He leaned off the light post he was against and stared at Sesshomaru and the unconscious Nao.
“What did you do to her?” he growled, reaching for her, but was put down when Sesshomaru took a large step back.
“She got drunk on her own.” Sesshomaru said, eying him coldly.
“Then let me carry her.” Kouga said, stepping forward with his arms open.
“No.” Sesshomaru said, brushing past him, “We’re in the same room, so… it wouldn’t make much sense for you to carry her.”
“What are you to Nao?” Kouga asked, his tone sounded hostile.
“Her reliable senpai,” Sesshomaru said, grinning mockingly, “…but she is terribly affectionate towards me. I just can’t control myself when my kouha is worshiping me that frequently.”
“If you touch her, I’ll kill you.” Kouga threatened, flashing a bit of fang.
“I don’t think you are in any position to tell me what to do.” Sesshomaru said, leaving him standing cold. He was sure that Kouga would misunderstand the whole situation the way he put it. But he didn’t care. That’s what Nao deserved he thought, for changing herself and keeping herself for a single person who hadn’t even the time to call.
Right when he entered the hotel, Kagura approached him with concern in her eyes. “Where were you?” she inquired, as she eyed the girl in his arms.
“No where.” Sesshomaru said; his tone was icy cold.
“Who is she?” Kagura asked, pointing at the girl in his arms. The Sesshomaru she knew would never carry a girl.
“No one.” He replied as he walked past her to the elevators. He entered the elevator and as the doors began to close Kagura stuck her hand out to stop them. “What do you mean, ‘no one?’” she asked, her tone sounded angry.
“As I meant, no one, I will have to ask you to not go to my room tonight.” He said as he removed her hand from the door. As the elevator closed, Sesshomaru could catch a glimpse of Kagura’s defeated face.
[]
Nao woke in an unfamiliar room with a horrible headache. “Whhaaa!” she screamed as she held her head. “I got drunk last night… after failing to confess… and then something happened,” Nao was trying to recall all that happened that night, but it seemed hopeless. Her head was too much in a wreck to think of anything but aspirin. She hadn’t noticed Sesshomaru who was lying beside her on the other twin bed. He lay cross-legged with a devious look on his face; apparently enjoying her mindless rambles, in silence.
Nao felt like she was being watched. She turned her head to see Sesshomaru lying on the bed across from her. She gasped, “Sesshomaru, what are you doing here?” she asked, as she scrambled to her feet.
“This IS my room. Why wouldn’t I be here?” He said, sitting up.
That’s when Nao remembered he had slapped her that night for not telling him about her trip. She still didn’t know the reason though. And HE was the person she got drunk with last night.
“Ahh… Hey what happened yesterday?” Nao asked, looking bashful.
“You failed your confession and got drunk and told me a bunch of stories about your childhood.” Sesshomaru explained to her, but thought better to leave the kiss out.
“Is that all? Because… oddly my shoulders and lips feel—“
BAM
The door slammed open and there standing in the doorway was one angry Kagura. “You, who are you?” Kagura asked, while pointing at Nao with a disgusted look of inner jealousy.
“Uhh…” Nao murmured, still in the mist of surprise.
“She’s my little sister. Stepsister because my real mother remarried, she came to meet me but fell ill yesterday at the beach.” Sesshomaru lied, with ease and a straight face.
“What…?” Nao said, appearing puzzled.
“Isn’t that right?” Sesshomaru asked Nao, giving her a deadly smile that made her fall ill to her stomach.
“Yes…” Nao whimpered, subjugated by his evil grin, “Onii-san, I came to meet onii-san after mom told me about him. He’s exactly the person I thought he’d be. A big jerk.”
“What?” Sesshomaru said, frowning, he grabbed her by the arm and twisted it behind her back.
“Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow,” Nao shrieked, while trying to escape his tight grasp on her arm.
“I see the brother and sister bond now.” Kagura said, staring at them.
Sesshomaru released her arm, “Then let’s leave.” He said as he brushed past Nao and approached Kagura, “Lock the door when you leave.” He told her before he left off with Kagura, leaving Nao confused.
Nao stood in stillness. She had to pretend to be Sesshomaru’s sister now? Nao guessed she owed him for snapping her out of her depression. And the drinking didn’t help her head but it helped her heart ease into defeat. Defeat? Wait, that wasn’t a word Nao knew, but saying it, thinking it, eased her troubled heart.
“Maybe I should have surrendered to this feeling a long time ago.” Nao said to herself. She took one final look around the room before leaving, and locked it at Sesshomaru’s request.
[]
After receiving a very long speech from two very angry underclassman; Nao decided to leave early. She didn’t want to cause anymore trouble and she didn’t feel very excited about the onsen anymore either. She searched for her cellphone to arrange a flight home, but couldn’t find it. Still dressed in her gown, she left the room to search for it.
“Could it be on the beach?” Nao murmured worriedly. She had a few numbers saved on it that couldn’t be easily replaced. And getting them back would be troublesome.
Nao dashed through the lobby, passing by Kagura and Sesshomaru who sat at the bar having tea together. “What’s wrong with her?” Sesshomaru asked himself mentally as he stood up. “I have to leave a little early. I’ll see you later.” He lied. Kagura frowned as Sesshomaru left the hotel, she wouldn’t let him go so easily. She left after him, silently following after him. “What’s with you, Sesshomaru this is unlike you.” Kagura thought.
Reaching the beach, the wind was strong enough to sweep up the sand, the hem of her dress and hair. Further down the beach was a figure, and in his hand was her cellphone, purse and childhood photograph.
“Hey, that’s mine!” Nao yelled as she ran to the stranger to reclaim her things.
She rubbed the sand out of her eyes and stared, it was Kouga.
“That’s mine can I have it back?” Nao asked, holding out her hand.
“I’ll give you back this and this.” Kouga said, dropping the cellphone and beaded purse in her awaiting hand. “But this,” He said, holding the picture beside his face, “I think I’ll keep this.”
“I want that back too.” Nao said, reaching for the photograph.
“Why do you want it? It’s just a picture right?” Kouga said, his voice becoming a bit aggressive. He was still angry about what happened last night. He wanted to know what Nao was doing with that guy.
“It’s not just a picture to me!” Nao shouted, snatching the picture from him, “You liar! You have no right to say that to me!”
Nao turned her back and took off down the beach. “Stop!” Kouga called after her.
“Leave me alone!” Nao shouted back, as she kicked up sand.
Kouga grabbed her wrist and Nao snapped into a painful halt. She jerked forward, “Let me go!” she shouted, not facing him.
“I won’t, not until you tell me why I am a liar!” he shouted, squeezing her wrist.
“You’re a liar because, because,” Nao began to sob, she turned to him—to show him her pained expression, “Because you never came back like you promised! You never found me like you promised! When I like you so much… you left me alone!”
Kouga released her hand, “Nao,” he pulled her abruptly into a close embrace. Nao struggled, beating his sides with her fists until she found herself clinging to his shirt.
“I am so sorry Nao.” Kouga whispered as he tightened his embrace. He could feel her heart beating against his broad chest, the warmth she emitted, he missed it terribly.
“Kouga-kun…” She sobbed softly, “I like you.”
Kouga released her and stared deeply into her bright lime colored eyes. Kouga kissed the sides of Nao’s neck, slowly making his way up to her mouth. He kissed her passionately, their hands entangled in their own embrace. Nao moaned inside of his mouth, enticing Kouga more. He slipped his tongue into her mouth and explored her mouth thoroughly.
Nao broke the kiss, gasping she held her face, “You pervert.” She said; her eyes glued to the ground. She found herself too embarrassed to look at anything else.
Kouga grabbed her face and kissed her once more, when he broke away slowly, he kissed her forehead affectionately.
“I like Nao-chan a lot,” He said, his expression serious, “…So wait for me, and I’ll return to you.”
Nao nodded, “I’ll wait for you.” She said, while pressing her head against his chest. “I’ll wait for you, so come back quickly.”
Just above them, Sesshomaru stood astounded. He clenched his fist, “Stupid girl,” he scoffed as he turned his back. He stopped, seeing as Kagura was standing right in front of him.
“Are you feeling jealous,” Kagura said, as she stared at him. Sesshomaru brushed past her, ignoring her comment.
“She is your sister right?” Kagura said; her eyes met his back with a look of puzzlement, “Why do you treat her so differently!” Kagura shouted.
Differently? Sesshomaru thought, he wanted to ask what she meant by differently. Did he treat Nao different from the other girls he interacted with?
Sesshomaru kept walking, no longer hearing Kagura’s screams, but experiencing a cold chill of loneliness shoot up his spine. He felt this feeling when he kissed Nao, now he felt it when he watched that reunion scene.
“Stupid girl,” Sesshomaru retorted, “...I don’t understand this feeling at all.”

*blinks*
Ok... That was wierd..
Sesshoumaru gets Nao drunk enough so she would spill the beans on why she was there and kisses her after she confesses that she loves Kouga even though he was with Ayame.
Then Sesshoumaru lies to Kagura after taking Nao to his room to sober up by telling her that Nao is his step-sister?!
And Nao and Kouga's reunion, although rocky at first, becomes good and causes Sesshoumaru to be jealous.
:hilarious:
Tomodachi, you have done it again!
what a Master piece of writing skill! ^^
*sighs* It saddens me that some of our fellow authors find it neccessary to allow their stories to remain dormant for long periods of time without an update.
:hehe: My self is included in that group when it comes to my Fullmetal Alchemist Pokemon Crossover fanfiction: A "Fullmetal Pokemon"?!..
But I have asked for, and am still asking for, help with ideas for it.
:hehe: About anything that I may post for it now, if I post anything at all, may be a filler at best.
Please update when you may, Tomodachi Ojousama! :cheer:
Ojousama - December 22, 2007 06:42 AM (GMT)
If you're looking for ideas, I'll be sure to read your story and suggest something. That's my thanks for reading my story so passionately. ^ ^ I love reviews like yours, they give me confidence to continue writing.
XD The next chapter is a sort of filler chapter and it's crazy just as this chapter was.
XD We don't know what Sesshomaru was feeling. He is absolutely clueless, but I would have to say that he was feeling jealously.
Sesshomaru being such a solemn character, I displayed him in my story as someone who doesn't understand 'like' and 'love'. So he is going to struggle all throughout the next chapters with this one.
But thanks for reading Jostanos!
Jostanos - December 22, 2007 07:29 AM (GMT)
*bows* It is an honor and a privlage, Tomodachi Ojousama, to read you fanfic, and I would appreciate any feed back that you may provide for my own story.
Sylt: Umm... :hehe: Excuse me, Ojousama? May I be in your fic?
Sonic: *sighs* Sylt, Why must you ask nearly every budding author if you may be in thier fanfictions? Aren't you in enough of them already in one form or another?
Sylt: :scaryangry: That is none of your business, Sonic.
Ojousama - December 23, 2007 03:58 PM (GMT)
Nao: Eh..? Sure, you can be in the picture.
Kira: ^^;; Nao it's a story..
Nao: I know that. -sighs-
Kira: Sylt can be a relative of Nao who comes up in later chapters. You see I already prepared chapters all the way up to a Christmas special.
Nao: Christmas?! Will I spend it with Kouga-kun?
Kira: . . ehh.. Well here's the update!
Nao: Hey, hey, hey don't ignore me! Answer the question!

DISCLAIMER: I don't own Inu Yasha.
[Sorta filler chapter]
Ch4 Diamond Ferris Wheel
An abnormal group, Ayame, Kouga and Nao along with Sesshomaru and Kagura, it was odd—terribly odd. On Kouga’s last day, he invited Nao to Hokkaido’s amusement park, Haru no Yume, to spend the day together. Sadly, his assistant manager, Baisho Ayame came along despite Kouga’s feelings. Ayame was quite bold when it came to her feelings and this severely bothered Nao. Somehow along the way, as these three walked around, they ran into Kagura and Sesshomaru.
Kagura had forced Sesshomaru to come along despite his not wanting to come, but somehow he found himself at the amusement park alongside her.
“It’s nice to see you again, imouto-chan*.” Kagura said. She patted her head mockingly, “It’s nice to see you here with your boyfriend…and his other girlfriend?”
“NO!” Nao shouted, becoming pissed off at Kagura’s ignorance, “She is not his girlfriend.”
“Ahh my mistake,” Kagura said, waving her hand, “Sesshomaru and I are on a date.” She announced as she clung to his arm. Sesshomaru did not protest; he was still confused about his feelings for Nao, so he let Kagura say whatever she wanted.
“I know, let’s explore the park together.” Kagura suggested.
Nao quickly shook her head, “No.” she said.
“More people aren’t a bad thing…” Ayame said, while clinging to Kouga’s arm.
“Come on, It’ll be fun.” Kagura grinned.
“Okay.” Nao said, sighing she gave into their selfish begs.
The group approached the first ride which was a rocking boat. Kouga sat on one side of Nao, while Sesshomaru sat at her other side with Kagura on his end and Ayame at Kouga’s end. Kouga and Sesshomaru both eyed each other dangerously. Kouga hadn’t forgotten what he had said—which turned out to be a huge lie. He was royally pissed off.
But Sesshomaru found his behavior to be laughable, he smiled mockingly, “You shouldn’t stare too much.” He told him. Kouga snatched his glance away and looked ahead of him. He wouldn’t let that guy provoke him.
As the boat began to rock, Nao squeezed both Kouga’s and Sesshomaru’s hand. Sesshomaru stared at the top of her head in astonishment. Why would she be squeezing his hand when Kouga was supposedly her boyfriend?
He squeezed her hand back in retaliation, “This isn’t anything to be scared of.” Sesshomaru said, simply. Nao shook her head, “I hate this stupid ride.” She squirmed.
The boat tilted forward once more before completing a full cycle. The girls all screamed, while Kouga and Sesshomaru both held monotone expressions on their faces. What was so scary about this? They both had the same thought in their minds.
Next the group walked into the center of the amusement park. The center had typical games to win prizes and food stands.
Nao looked around, amazed at such a festive area, there were many people.
“I guess we can eat here.” Kouga said, stretching his hands above his head.
“Yeah and there are a lot of games too.” Nao added, smiling blindly.
“Nao I am going to the restroom, so don’t get lost.” Kouga told her as he walked towards the bathrooms. Nao nodded, she knew what she would do in the meanwhile. At a candy stand she bought a candy apple and sat on a bench across from a ‘Test your Strength’ booth. Ayame was busy playing games to notice she had disappeared. Kagura was buying bead key chains and Sesshomaru was strolling over to the bench Nao sat on.
Nao licked her candy apple, “Are you enjoying your date?” Nao asked.
“Are you?” Sesshomaru asked, taking a seat beside her.
“No. Kouga’s assistant manager is as clingy as ever and I can’t seem to get myself alone with him.” Nao sighed, before biting into her candy apple, smearing the red candy all over the sides of her mouth.
“What are you, a kid? How can you get yourself so dirty?” Sesshomaru removed his handkerchief from his pocket and moved it towards her mouth to clean her up.
“No,” Nao said, pushing the cloth away, “This looks expensive. You shouldn’t waste it on my mouth.”
“It’s fine.” Sesshomaru said, before he rubbed the cloth across her mouth, cleaning the corners of her mouth and lips. “Here,” Sesshomaru said, giving Nao the dirtied handkerchief, “How will you repay me now?”
“What? I told you not to waste it on me. I can’t believe you’re trying to get money out of me.” Nao said. She removed her wallet from her pocket and opened it, “How much was the stupid handkerchief?” she asked, annoyance in her tone.
“I don’t want that kind of payment.” Sesshomaru said, as he inched closer to her face.
“What are you doing?” Nao asked, nervous of how close he was getting to her.
Sesshomaru kissed the corner of her mouth shortly—as a test of that lonely feeling he felt before. He then licked his lips; tasting the candy apple she had bitten earlier, “This was somewhat different.” He said; sounding as if he were talking with himself. The lonely feeling was no longer there, but he sworn he felt an heart wrenching feeling when he kissed her last night; that he was sure of.
“You shouldn’t tease me like that. Aren’t you here with Kagura?” Nao asked, staring at him with curious eyes.
“That doesn’t mean I like her.” Sesshomaru said, standing from the bench, “Feelings change, but I never had them for her.”
“That’s sad.” Nao said, feeling a bit remorseful for her; even if she acted like a ***** in the beginning.
“If you say so,” Sesshomaru said, “But I think it’s more tragic for the one who is liked.”
Sesshomaru left her puzzled again. What did that mean, she asked herself mentally. She finished her candy apple and just as she was about to leave the bench, Kouga approached her carrying a stuffed panda.
“Here, I won this for you.” He said, giving the bear to her. He scratched his head out of embarrassment.
“Thank you, Kouga-kun.” Nao said; she held the bear to her chest as they walked towards the next destination.
The group had rejoined and the next ride would be the last. Due to Kouga’s busy schedule, he had to leave to Tokyo in four more hours.
“Let’s ride the ferris wheel.” Nao said, grabbing Kouga’s hand. Ayame stepped back, letting them finally be alone. She proudly accepted defeat and dawned herself a loyal supporter of their relationship—for now.
Nao got into the booth and sat down with Kouga sitting across from her. Sesshomaru and Kagura rode the next bucket; Ayame rode along with them just to spite Kagura.
As the ride started, Nao’s eyes were glued to the scenery around them. She could see the tops of the trees, the distant shrines and the beach, her eyes widened in awe. “It’s so beautiful.” Nao complimented.
“Yeah,” Kouga said, taking her hand, “You are very beautiful.”
Nao pouted, “That was so lame, Kouga.” She teased.
“I can’t help that.” He said, pulling her closer to him.
Sesshomaru, in the bucket below them was growing agitated at their closeness. It was naivety in that girl Nao, he could sense, he didn’t know why he was concerned with such a stupid girl anyway. Kagura was busy trying to hook a bear key chain onto his house keys so she couldn’t see the look of fury on his face. In anger, Sesshomaru grabbed Kagura’s key chain and threw it into Nao’s bucket—hoping to hit Nao right upside the head.
Unknowingly to him, the key chain he threw hit Kouga straight in the eye.
“Ahh!” Kouga yelped as he held his eye.
Kouga-kun are you okay?” Nao asked, as she lightly touched his face.
“What just hit me in the eye?” Kouga asked; his eye began to tear a bit as Nao blew into his eye.
“Ahh, this,” Nao said. She lifted the bear key chain off the floor and examined it. “This is cute.” She said, smiling down at the key chain.
“Then I give this to you.” Kouga said, he took Nao’s cellphone from her breast pocket of her jacket and clipped the key chain on her cellphone.
“This way, you’ll think of me.” Kouga said. He grasped Nao’s hands and held them.
“Then think of me with this,” Nao said. She boldly lifted herself from her seat, pushed up his bang and kissed his forehead.
“This will always stay here.” Nao said, grinning wildly.
“Even when I wash it away?” Kouga asked.
“It will always remain there.” Nao said, as her hand lightly caressed the place she kissed him.
Slowly the ferris wheel moved, and Nao wished with all her heart that it would never end. Outside the ferris wheel, the crystal lights that lined the bars shown brightly in the night; appearing as if thousands of diamonds were aligned just for the occasion.
Wahh.. So Sesshomaru is clear of his feelings. . . The next chapter is sure to surprise a few. ^ ^;;; I think I made Sesshomaru too confused of human feelings.
