I just got RB a week or so ago, all I have at the moment is the drums and I'm using my two guitars from GHIII for it. (Which you can do.) People say there isn't much difference between GH and RB but there actually is. Yes, I'll give it to GH to have the better solo mode, but RB's multiplayer mode is better. Special it's Head to Head. And because you can play against someone i.e, Drum against Drum and Guitar against Guitar (I don't know about the Mic, I don't have one yet.) It makes it even more of a challenge to want to master each controller.
So who has it?

As soon as i get it, I'm having a ROCK BAND PARTY!!! TM . Some friends are planning to invade the house, whether my parents like it or not.
My dad works at EA, though, who published it, and they had a freaking DRAW just to get the chance to PURCHASE it. So, uh... me thinks I won't be getting it for a little bit.

Daang, you're lucky that your dad works for EA.
I plan on throwing a party once I get a mic, which will probably be before Friday.
So I'll be able to throw one on Friday.
Anyways, Expert mode with the drum pad is surprisingly easy though.
People tell me it's cause I'm able to play drums, but that has nothing to do with it.
I can play guitar but there aren't any strings on the controller.

Rock Band is set to come out on PS2 December 18.

LEIPZIG, Germany--Previously confirmed for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Harmonix announced today that Rock Band will be coming to the venerable PlayStation 2 platform. The PS2 version of the game will feature "many" of the modes of the 360 and PS3 games, and will also incorporate some all-new gameplay elements.
European versions of Rock Band will also be getting localised content for the different countries in the region, both downloadable and on-disc.
The following 10 songs were also announced for Rock Band, and all will be original versions:
Rolling Stones -- "Gimme Shelter"
Deep Purple -- "Highway Star"
The Clash -- "Should I Stay or Should I Go"
Faith No More -- "Epic"
Smashing Pumpkins -- "Cherub Rock"
Radiohead -- "Creep"
Beastie Boys -- "Sabotage"
Jet -- "Are You Gonna Be My Gir"?
OK Go -- "Here It Goes Again"
Nine Inch Nails -- "The Hand That Feeds"
Rock Band's on-disc lineup now totals 26 tracks, including Metallica's "Enter Sandman," Nirvana's "In Bloom," and Bon Jovi's "Wanted Dead Or Alive."
The game is scheduled for release in the US on the Xbox 360 and PS3 in the 2007 holiday season, and it is meant to be available across Europe from early 2008. For more on the game, check out GameSpot's preview.

Rock Band > all three guitar heroes.
The Rock Band party we had was so much fun. for 9 hours straight, it was the only game we played, and it was all we played that entire day. I was on Bass, which is surprisingly almost as hard hard as regular guitar is, especially with songs that have heavy bass. My favorite songs were Orange Crsuh by REM, Maps by Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Don't Fear the Reaper by an artist i cant remember...
Drums is the hardest instrument to play, the pedal messes you up so bad. the mic is surprisingly fun to use, for the single song i sang on it anyways.

I found out certain news about Rockband for the Wii,
that Im not TOO happy about, so I might end up getting the PS2.
btw, I have a question.
Exactly what systems can you play rockband on.?
I know its X-Box360, Play Station3,
but just playstation3, or any other one?

I don't think it's as good as G3 and I heard that the company that makes Guitar Hero is making somthing like Rock Band.
