Title: Shichinintai
Description: :3

Eh, well, I was bored and I don't care if this is a repeat topic. I am honestly not about to bump what is probably a topic that is two years old.
Well, this is basically a topic about the Shichinintai in general. If you hate them for some reason, go ahead and post. If you like/love/are overly obsessed, then go and post your heart out; if needed.
Yeah, as some people here can tell, these are basically the only villians that I actually like. Mostly because:
1) Battles with them were interesting
2) They were a good plot twist
3) Bankotsu, Jakotsu, Renkotsu, Suikotsu and Ginkotsu aren't as irritating as most of the cast are.
But those are just basics. :3

for me
Bankotsu....cool
Jakotsu......funny
Suikotsu.....boring
the others...scary
i really liked thier part in inuyasha ...it was the best seasen in the anime
but i dont love them ..i dont love the walking dead people just because they are dead (i know...i shouldnt watch inuysha at all)
Bankotsu 92 - December 20, 2007 04:02 PM (GMT)
Well, Kikyo was dead too, but a lot of people loved her :rolling:
Bankotsu is the Best
Jakotsu is the best comic char
Suikotsu has an interesting story
Renkotsu is the worst bastard in the world
The others...well, they don't have a great part in the manga...

i dont love kikyo or kohaku...lol

I also love the Shichinintai because there is most likely a lot more to them then what the anime or manga reveals. Perhaps they probably are innocent underneath their sadistic ways. Who knows?

Bankotsu was an interesting, witty, and hilarious character nonetheless. Jakotsu was extremely entertaining, he was funny and I loved how gay he was. Renkotsu's character was interesting because he's SO evil, and it's really fun watching someone as power-hungry and demeaning as him betray his friends for power and for the jewel shards. Ginkotsu was kind of just a background character I find, but his devotion to Renkotsu was memorable. Mukotsu and Kyoukotsu didn't really play a large part, so I haven't got much to say there.

What I also like about the Shichinintai is how much color they've got. Even though others would disagree, I say they got a lot of color. While they were alive, they put up a pretty good fight and proved that some of the main characters aren't as stupid or pathetic as some veiwers were starting to think. May seem unintentional, but these guys really contributed to the show in such ways many people wouldn't even think of. Such as the fact it made the show a hell of a lot more interesting.
But what I truly liked about them was the fact that they had more common sense then most of the characters. Sure, there were times, however, when they really had none. But those times were pretty secondary. They seemed to use common sense a lot more then most of the characters (Inuyasha for sure).
To be honest, I felt dischanted when RT killed them off. I really wanted to learn so much more about them that it kinda drove me up the wall. RT shouldn't have killed them off; especially when Bankotsu was beginning to develop more and more as a character. All the fans of his are left with is very little of his character that he probably had more of a personality before and even after he became a mercenary. Ah well, that's what we got fanfictions for. :3

I love his comment in the manga about Jakotsu killing all the women. "awe, you didn't leave any women alive to pour the sake." x3 I know what that comment means.
