For those of you ignorant to the real world, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street recently came out in theaters. The night I was originally supposed to go, I couldn't and it depressed me so much that I was driven to try my hand at realism. This is only my second time trying to draw people in realism, so go easy as far as criticism goes. I do appreciate constructive criticism, however, so lay that on thick as the blood dripping down the barber's chair.
I think his head is WAY too big for the rest of his body ( I drew the hand first and then tried the head then threw on the body...) and I think his hand is really messed up.
Note: Also, as I drew this before I saw the movie tonight, I didn't quite have a feel for the character. That it why his expression looks so un-Sweeney like. Gomen.
