Title: The internet dictionary

Saku-Tatsuya - January 4, 2008 10:57 PM (GMT)
Well, well we haven't had a topic like this for a damn long time <I'm too lazy to go bump it> and it's about time it was to be remade. However, I'm bringing in some new terms some of you may have seen me use in the past and now you get to know what they mean.

For the most common internets slang:

Lulz: The better and cooler way of saying 'there's lots of lols'; that and it can refer ti a website, a person's actions or even a topic. Ex; 'Wow, that forum I just visted is full of great lulz.'

MOAR: Just another way of saying 'more'.

TL; DR: Numerous definitions for this but the main one that is more known is 'Too late, didn't read.' This is for a person when they've skimmed through a wall' o 'text and they say this only after they have been told the real meaning of the essay and they go all 'TL; DR". Not used very much except on sites like www.Encyclopediadramatica.com and all the Channer boards.

Internet Tough Guy: A person who talks you off and for some reason thinks that they can kill you through the internets. When you correct them, sometimes they'll say that they're going to send you a virus (half the time, that never works). They'll keep on going at you until a troll PWNS them and sends their asses off the internets for good.

N00b: Anyone raging from 5 (WTF?) to 86 (Again, WTF?) years old who either types in leet just to be annoying or they spell everything wrong or they are an Internet Tough Guy; but only sometimes. They also are people who cheat their ways through video games or they are fairly new at one. Don't confuse this with Newbie, which means 'New person'.

Troll: A troller is someone who either posts a lot of disgusting pictures on the internets or they are just rebels towards big crowds. Often, if someone is saying "ohh this board sucks"; often the troller would be the first person to say "Oh STFU and get over it." but ussually, they're a lot harsher and it doesn't matter if the person they're yelling at is a n00b or not. Either way, they still get yelled at by a troll. Trolls love to pick on espeically Internet Tough Guys.

Diva: A drama queen; or as we love to call them, attention *****.s. They can rage from any age as long as they're dramatic. These people hate it when people are turned against them and go all "Woe me; oh why me?" when Trolls say "Why not you?"

Posers: People who call themselves emos. See Diva for more explaination.

EDiots: People who enjoy having lulz from www.encyclopediadramatica.com and they also contribute to some of the articles. They also are members who bring upon many epic lulz over the internets.

Flamers: Kind of like a troll but not nearly as mean.

That's all I have for now. =D Hurray for internet words.

I've seen the object internetz seen a lot. And from what I've seen...

Internetz: An object of appriciation. Such as if you make an image made of pure win, somebody will say, 'OMG0RZ. TAT IZ MADE OF WIN. HERE. HAV AN INTARNETZ.'

I hope I didn't mess up too bad....

IRL: It just means 'in real life'. Nothing special.

Rule 34: 'If it exists, there has to be a porn side to it.' Self explanitory.

Furries: Anthropormorphic animal people usually with cat ears or tail or any other animal quality. They have a lot of haters and lover at the same time.

Yiff: furry porn. No need for further explanation.

IDIFTL: I did it for the lulz. It's the perfect excuse for anyone to use to either troll or start drama and usually, it was started for the lulz and sake of seeing someone overreact and yell "YOU PHAIL!" and then write a long wall of text to prove you wrong and them right. Usually, this works better on Youtube or Newgrounds. Hell, sometimes even on IJ as well. It was a term started by Anonomys.

Desu/Nyu: Both are very popular words used for spam just to piss people off. 'Desu' came from the anime 'Rozen Maiden' while 'Nyu' came from 'Elfen Lied'.

Anonomys: You really don't want to **** with him.

Fangirls: There are two types. One of them allow their uncontrollable obessions be heard while the other one are very annoying l33t typing little morons who try to flame you everyway possible just because you like a character they like.
