My Heart is in September 2

Chapter 1: One big happy family

The sun rose over the neat, perfect lawns of Harris Acers Hallow. It was early spring, and a light dew covered the grass and neatly trimmed hedges that seperated the lawns.
The sunlight lit up the silver plauge that glimered on the mailbox in front of Villa 25.
I. & K. Takahashi.

It had been ten faithful years since that heart-warming day that Inuyasha had won the Summer races, defeating Kagome's arrogant father and earning the trust and respect of all his friends. The large, golden trophy still sat in its place in a cabinet within the Yacht Club, his name ingraved on it. No one even cared anymore that he was Half-Demon, or that he was once a kitchen help.
The only ones that really remembered those days were Inuyasha and Kagome.

Kagome had matured into a beautiful woman, looking still young, looking as though she hadn't borne children at all. And she was as happy as a woman could be. The love between them hadn't wavered at all....and it had been eleven years.
Inuyasha was just as handsome and romantic as he ever was. He didn't look old enough to be a father either. He still had the tendancy to be covered in sawdust, or wear that bandana to cover his ears, that all of his children had inherited. He was always smiling.

No one had thought they would make it.
But they did.
They had taken the long way....but they had made it.

~
Kagome woke slowly, her head resting upon Inuyasha's chest. Her brown eyes settled on the glittering ring on her finger, and a smile spread on her lips. She slowly sat up, brushing her hair back and looking back to the sleeping Hanyou. She smiled tenderly, leaning over to brush her lips against his. When she pulled back, watching is eyes open and focus, she tucked her hair behind her ears, "Good morning, Inu,"
Inuyasha gave a smile and replied, "Good morning, Kagome,"
Kagome sat up and turned, sliding off the high bed. She fixed her nightgown and stepped lightly over to the window. Inuyasha sat up on one elbow, watching her open the window to the cool morning air. He also slid from the bed, stretching until he felt the muscles pull. He caught Kagome's arm as she passed, kissing her temple and letting her go again. He walked past her to the bathroom, picking up his hairbrush. Kagome smiled at him,
"I'll get breakfast started, if you'll wake up the kids,"
"Alright,"

Kagome descended the stairs into the large kitchen and reached into a high cabinet to get down a large bowl. She pulled a box of pancake batter from the pantry and the milk and eggs from the fridge. She picked up a large wooden spoon and began.

Inuyasha pushed open the door to the boys room. He crossed the clean blue carpet to open the window. Then he kneeled down to the first bed. He looked down to his firstborn, Atsuko, who had recently turned twelve. He reached over and gently shook his shoulder,
"Atsu, time to get up."
The raven haired boy's ivory ears tweaked and he gave a small groan. He smiled and raised himself up onto an elbow before rubbing and opening his amber eyes. He yawned widely,
"Good morning, Dad,"
"Good morning. Your mother is fixing breakfast, so head downstairs,"
Atsuko nodded and pushed the blankets off him. Putting his feet on the floor, he passed his father to the door, dissapearing down the hall. Inuyasha stood and crossed to the opposite side of the room. He leaned over this bed, as it had railings on it to keep the occupant from falling to the floor. He reached down to lightly shake his other son,
"Ichimarou, time to get up,"
Ichimarou was a twin. He was the second born twin. Strangley, the twins were blue eyed blondes, but they both had random streaks of black in their hair, and black dog ears. Inuyasha figured Kagome's family must've had a streak of blondes, no matter how much Kagome denied it. Ichimarou almost sat up right away. He rubbed his blue eyes and smiled at him,
"It's morning already?"
"Yes. Now, Mommy's making pancakes. You better hurry down there before Astuko eats them all," Inuyasha said playfully. Ichimarou gasped and nodded, struggling over his rails,
"You're right Daddy!"
He hurried down the stairs.

Next, Inuyasha crossed the hall to the girls room. He opened their window, which awakened Kyoto, Ichimarou's twin sister. She pulled her blanket around her,
"Ooh, shut that window Daddy, it's cold in here now,"
Inuyasha laughed quietly and shook his head,
"I don't think so, Kyoto. It's time to get up. Pancakes downstairs,"
Kyoto grumbled as she slid out of bed, putting on her fuzzy bathrobe. She smiled at him before heading out the door. Inuyasha leaned over the crib on the other side of the room. He lifted the newest addition to their family, a girl of only three years, named Sorimaru, into his arms. He smiled down at her as he headed down the stairs, where the rest of his family was sitting around their wide table.
He wasn't surprised to see Kagome's best friend, Kiara, sitting next to Kyoto, who adored her.
Kiara was a Hanyou like himself, one of the only others he knew. She was very nice, and Inuyasha liked her. Her hair was long, and ivory with blue tints. She also had dog ears. She often wore a blue kimono, defying modern fashion as he did, but Kagome followed to some extent.
He nodded a greeting to her, sitting down next to Kagome,
"So, how are you Kiara?"
Kiara smiled and said,
"I'm just fine. And how are you? How's your work going?"
Inuyasha picked up to sippy-cup for Sorimaru on the table, already warmed, and said,
"I'm fine, thanks. Everything at the shop is great. I'm getting fairly big orders,"
Kiara was always happy to hear about his success. After her and Kagome had become very close friends, the first thing she'd said to him was,
"Break her heart and I'll break your face,"
He'd laughed it off. But he knew she was serious.

Atsuko looked at his father,
"Dad, today's the day I can start working with you, right?"
Inuyasha smiled at him and nodded,
"That's right. Are you excited?"
Atsuko nodded eagerly,
"Yes! I'm ready!"
Kagome was laughing,
"If you're going to go with your father today, then you really need to eat your breakfast,"
Atsuko nodded and looked back to his plate, picking up his fork.

Today was going to be a good day.

Chapter 2: The girl across the lake

Atsuko pulled his coat over his head, adjusting it so it was snug. Kagome kissed him goodbye,
"Now, Atsu, you be good today. Mind your manners and listen to your father,"
Atsuko nodded, smiling widely. Kyoto and Ichimarou waved him off at the door, as he was in a bigger hurry than his father. Inuyasha kissed Kagome lightly and said,
"Don't worry. He'll be fine,"
Kagome gave a nod and laughed, "Bring him home in one piece, please,"

Atsuko hurried along the road,
"Hurry, Dad, we don't want to be late!"
Inuyasha gave a smirk and said, "We won't. I promise,"
Atsuko slowed and bit and looked past the hedges on his left. Beyond the Villas' was Hakate Lake, which was connected to good ol' Kimatari Lake by a small creek. Ever since his birth, Atsuko had thought nothing of anything but sailing. He loved to be on his fathers' boat, which was named after him. Now, after all those years of waiting, he could finally try and conquer the skill of Boatbuilding like his father!
Inuyasha stared out over the water too. Memories flushed back into his mind, some not so good. He touched one of his fangs with his tongue, remembering how Kagome's father had knocked it out. He'd wanted to tear that man to shreds for striking Kagome like he had. For calling him that horrid name. For call Atsuko that horrid name...But he hadn't seen that man since that day. Keh, like it mattered. Kagome was just as happy as he was, without him.
Atsuko and his siblings didn't need to know him. Just like they didn't need to know about his brother, Sesshomaru. Heck, Kagome didn't even know about Sesshomaru. He tended to keep it that way; they'd lived for eleven years now and she didn't know, there was no reason to tell her.
It didn't matter.

They arrived at the huge workshop right on time, and Atsuko was absolutley physced. He was in Inuyasha's office, ripping off his coat to put on a ragged T-shirt. Inuyasha was pleased with his enthusiasm. Atsuko was a good boy. He was intelligent, with childish faith and curiosity. His amber eyes were always sparkling with a large amount of love and hope. He was a boy in his full mind. For example, when he smiled, he smiled not only with his lips; but with his entire being.
Inuyasha removed his own coat and waited for his son near the first project of the day. Miroku and himself had just finished a boat and it needed sanding.
A good place to start.

Atsuko was the first to notice when the door swung open, as he was facing that way. He stared as a man walked in, his daughter floating behind him like a balloon. He looked around the slightly dirty place and then drew attention to himself.
Inuyasha faced him,
"Good evening, sir. I'd shake your hand, but I've been sanding all morning and you'd get dirty...um, how can I help you?"
The man looked Inuyasha up and down, then said,
"I would like a boat of your unique design. My dear friend has told me all about you and how you won the races for Japan a few years back,"
Inuyasha gave a small shrug and a nod,
"Yessir. I did, all for my girl, who's now my wife. I'm just a peaceful builder now....well, down to buisness. I'll give you a form to fill out and we'll get your order started."

Atsuko didn't hear and of the conversation. He was busy staring at the mans' daughter. He's never seen another girl so pretty in his life.
She stood behind her father like his shadow, but anyone could tell she'd rather not.
She was about his height, with hair the color of carrots that brushed her shoulders. Her eyes were a deep green, full of young, childish faith and a mechievious gleam. She, unlike her father, had Demonic features. Her father seemed to mask his Demon blood with a human appearance, but his daughter had just shone right out. Her ears were pointed and a crimson two stripes lined her cheeks. When she noticed him staring at her, her cheeks pinkened.
Atsuko swallowed hard and glanced away as his father led her father into the back to start paperwork. They were...alone now.

At first she looked shy but then she looked him in the eyes,
"H-Hello. Was that your father?"
Atsuko nodded.
"He's a Half-Demon,"
Atsuko nodded again.
"And so are you,"
Atsuko nodded once more,
"....M-My mother is human..."
She gave a knowing nod and bit her lip. She twisted a lock of her hair around her finger,
"Um. I'm Tamashi Ume. I live on the other side of the lake,"
Atsuko blinked,
"You mean the new house they just built?"
Tamashi nodded, smiling,
"And you are?"
Atsuko wiped his hands on his pants,
"Oh," he offered his hand, "I'm Atsuko Takahashi,"
She took his hand and they shook.

Tamashi looked around quickly,
"This is your fathers' workshop then. How long have you been working here?"
Atsuko smiled,
"Well, actually, I just started today. I'm 12 now, so I can work,"
"I'm 12 too. My father doesn't let me do anything, though...but my older brother gets to sail and stuff and I have to sit on the side. D'you have an older brother?"
Atsuko shook his head,
"No. I'm the firstborn. I have two little sisters and a little brother,"
Tamashi gave a half smile,
"Lucky. My brother is 15, and he likes to tease me. I don't like him much,"
Atsuko gave a small laugh, then said,
"Well, I have twins as siblings. One boy one girl. Confusing sometimes,"
Tamashi giggled slightly and looked away as their fathers re-entered the room. Inuyasha stood behind Atsuko, "Nice to do buisness with you,"
"Indeed, sir. Come along, Tamashi,"
Tamashi looked up at Atsuko and then turned and followed her father, shooting him a strange look as they left. Atsuko only watched. Inuyasha patted Atsuko's head,
"And that, son, is what you work for."
Atsuko jumped and looked up at him, "W-What d'you mean?"
"Well, you seem to like that girl. You were being really nice to her, and you usualy don't open up to people you don't know. There's obviously something special in that girl."
Atsuko blushed a little and shrugged,
"Yeah, if you say so."

I see Sesshy in the future too. *squee*

*sigh* I'm sooo weird. Every time I read Atsuko's name I think of the Akatsuki from Naruto... But that's cause I'm weird... and obsessed. (o.O)

Nevermind.

Sorry for the log inter.
MIGHT be a LONG chapter.

Chapter 3: No Half-Breeds

Atsuko was dozing on the bank of the lake, a fishing pole loose in his hand. His little sister, Sorimaru, was asleep at his left side. The twins, Kyoto and Ichimarou, were playing in the grass with a frisbee. Inuyasha was a little closer to the bank, looking a little more serious about fishing than his son. And Kagome, tired from a long day, was half asleep against his side, a book open to the wrong page in her lap.
Atsuko jerked awake when his pole snatched and he caught it fast, giving it a sharp yank. A pull on the line told him he'd got something. Inuyasha noticed this and watched him bring it in. A large one, which they let go. Atsuko put down his pole and lay down, his arm resting above Sori's head. He sighed loudly and shut his eyes. It was another few minutes before Inuyasha gathered them up to go home. Atsuko convinced him to let him stay a little longer.
He continued to sit there, staring out over to the new house. Tamashi's house. Ume. Tamashi Ume. He smiled a little and stood up. He headed off around the edge.

"Hello?"
Tamashi turned quickly, her dress swirling after her, "Who's there?"
"Um, Tamashi?"
Tamashi recognized the voice, "Atsuko?"
The boy appeared from the shadows, looking a bit nervous. She smiled a little and waved,
"Oh, it is you. W-What're you doing here?"
"I....don't really know. I just thought I'd come see you."
Tamashi stared at him for a minute, then said,
"...If my dad sees you out here, he's not going to be happy. He doesn't like Hanyous."
Atsuko blinked and bit his lip. He shrugged and said, "Well, that's nice,"
Tamashi frowned,
"Really, you should go home. It's late, and my father would-
"Tamashi, who're you talking to?"
Atsuko jumped and dissapeared into the shadows. Tamashi quickly faced her brother,
"No one, I was just singing,"
"....Liar. Is someone out here with you?" Kiyo asked.
Tamashi shook her head,
"No, really! I wasn't talking to anyone,"
Kiyo frowned and sniffed the air, "Oh? I smell Half-Demon. You been talking to a Half-Breed? Should we talk to dad about this?"
Tamashi stuck out her tongue,
"The boatbuilder I visited had a Hanyou son and I shook hands with him!"
Kiyo rolled his eyes,
"It's not you, stupid. It's just here. So he must be here!"
"There's no one here but you and me!"
Tamashi turned away and crossed her arms,
"I'm going to tell dad you won't leave me alone!"
Kiyo scoffed and turned,
"You're such a baby!" he said, walking away.
Tamashi slowly wound down.
Atsuko peeked out, "That was close,"
Tamashi looked at him ,"Get out of here, I can't have you getting in trouble!"
Atsuko jumped again and looked away, "Oh, well, alright,"
Tamashi took a step towards her porch,
"Sorry, Atsuko, but I'm not supposed to be around Hanyous."

Atsuko watched her go, surprised and hurt. He turned and stuffed his hands in his pockets,
"Hanyous are just Demons with a bit more good in them!"
Tamashi paused and her eyes shimmered, she shook her head and continued.
They walked away from each other.
Atsuko broke into a run as his house came into sight, he burst through the door and ran all the way up into his room-slamming the door. Everyone else had been eating dinner, but he'd lost his appetite. He threw himself onto his bed, tears welling up in his eyes.
So this is what it felt like to be rejected because of blood.

Kagome stood and shut the front door, looking at Inuyasha in confusion. He only shrugged and turned his gaze to the stairs....What happened?
~
Kagome slowly opened up Atsuko's bedroom door. He was lying on his bed, turned to the wall. She slowly went to him, "Atsu?"
He didn't answer.
She touched his shoulder, and leaned over to see his face. He was asleep. Kagome frowned at the tear streaks on his face. What? She gently wiped them away,
"Atsuko?"
He didn't stir. She'd let him sleep.
~
Atsuko woke, but didn't get up. He was still stuck in despair about Tamashi. He was supposed to be at work already, but he just didn't have the will. Inuyasha would forgive him. He turned over and shut his eyes again.

Inuyasha put down his glass and sighed,
"What d'you think happened?"
Kagome shrugged, "I dunno. He was crying though."
Inuyasha looked up at her with a strange face, his eyes were dark,
"...D'you know why?
"Wouldn't I have told you, Inu?"
Kagome wiped down the counter and put the dish rag away, turning faucet knob,
"I don't know what was wrong, but it looks as though he doesn't have the spirit to get up today."
Inuyasha glanced at the ceiling.
Kyoto flicked the TV channel again, and Ichimarou said,
"Doorbell,"
The doorbell rang two seconds later, and Kagome hurried to answer it. She met no one.
"Down here, Miss,"
Kagome looked down to see a carrot top girl in a yellow sundress. She looked uneasy and disheveled-out of place. She held out a piece of cake on a porclain plate with a card, wrapped in special wrap and written carefully, "Please give this to Atsuko. It's my apology,"
Inuyasha appeared behind Kagome,
"Oh, it's you. You're the new guy's daughter,"
Tamashi nodded, looking up at him,
"Yeah. That's me. I had to be rude to Atsuko last night to make him leave our property. I didn't want my dad or brother to see him there, they don't like Hanyous,"
Inuyasha frowned, "I noticed,"
Kagome took the cake and card,
"Um...Why don't you go up and see him?"
Tamashi looked stunned, then blushed slightly,
"Oh....well....I couldn't, really, this is all just so embarrassing." she looked at her shiny black shoes in her nervousness, "I hope Atsuko can understand and all, but right now, I can't face him..."
Kagome gave a knowing smile,
"Alright. I'll tell him. Thank you,"
Inuyasha waved her off and left the doorway. Tamashi bowed and turned, hurrying off towards home. Kagome shut the door, put the cake on the counter and faced her husband,
"Well, what an honest little girl,"
Inuyasha shrugged,
"Yea. Atsuko liked the look of her. I've never see her hair color before,"
Kagome mimicked his shrug, "It's not common, but she is a demon,"
"Yea,"

There was another knock at the door, unpredicted by Ichimarou. It was Neko-Megumi.
She lived across from Kiara, and was very nice and liked Ichimarou...who liked her as well. The moment Kagome opened the door for her, Ichimarou was there, BAM!, greeting her.
Neko blushed a little and was welcomed in, as always.
She had long brown hair and amazing blue eyes, with matching cat ears, as she was also a Hanyou. She was nice, but didn't let anyone push her around.

She and Ichimarou occupied the playroom, and Inuyasha got ready to leave,
"Alright. If he gets up, and he wants to come, just send him over. If not, then that's alright. Just let him know what was going on,"
Kagome was putting the cake in the fridge, "Yep,"

Atsuko finally dragged himself out of bed. He sulked as he descended the stairs, and reached the kitchen. Kyoto was watching TV, Sorimaru was half-watching and half-playing with her teddy. He looked up to his mother, and Kagome smiled at him,
"Not going to work today?"
Atsuko said nothing, then Kagome held out Tamashi's note,
"This is for you,"
Atsuko took it from her, gently opening it as he climbed onto the kitchen stool. He unfolded the paper and read the letter throughly,
"Dear Atsuko,
I'm sorry for the way I treated you. I actually like you, you're a good boy. I just didn't want my father or brother to know you were there, because they would've grounded me...and they might have called the police on you. They really don't like Hanyous. I don't care, but...I'm sorry anyway. Enjoy the cake, my mother made it. It's chocolate.
Ume, Tamashi."

Atsuko folded the paper and carefully returned it to its envelope,
"...It came with cake?"
Kagome nodded,
"Yep. You can have it after breakfast,"
"Breakfast?"
"Yea, I don't want the first thing you eat today to be cake," Kagome giggled slightly and took a plate out of the microwave, placing it before him, "Eat up,"

~
Atsuko didn't report to work until after he'd cleaned off and washed the cake plate. He tucked the plate itself into his jacket and hurried off.
Inuyasha was happy to see him, asking if he really wanted to work, and Atsuko replied with his ever enthusiastic chirp. He got right to his job, sanding the last expanse of the boat.

"Alright, let's lock up for the night,"
"See you, Inuyasha,"
"Bye, Miroku, thanks for your help,"
"Aw, it's nothing. Bye Atsu,"
"Bye, Mr. Miroku!"

Astuko pulled on his jacket, careful of the hidden plate and waited by the door until his father came to lock it. He helped, turning the key in the keyhole until it clicked and pulling it out, holding it for Inuyasha to take. When they reached the end of the lane, Atsuko excused himself,
"I need to return the plate," he said to Inuyasha's confused look.

Atsuko stopped in the driveway to Tamashi's house. He crept up to the front porch, taking the plate out of his jacket and setting it on the top step where it would be noticed, not stepped on. He smiled a little as he backed away and dashed down the road.
Yep, that cake had hit the spot.

Chapter 4: The second meeting

Tamashi was sitting on the front porch swing, reading a book. She'd just gotten home from school, someone was home, but she couldn't get in. It had depressed her, and unlike girls who eat themselves to tears, when Tamashi was depressed she pulled out a book instead of ice cream. Todays' novel was To Kill a Mocking Bird, and she was enjoying it so far, loving the speech of the country characters. She was nearly giggling at their grammer skills when a familiar scent hit her nose and made her look up.
She met the figure of Atsuko, passing towards his home on the sidewalk,
"Hello, Atsuko,"
The black haired boy stopped and looked up at her,
"Oh, Tamashi, I didn't see you there! Why're you outside?"
Tamashi set down her book and slid off the swing, bouncing down the stairs to stand at arms length away from him, "The door's locked, I can't get in."
"Don't you have keys?"
"Yep. But the chain is on, so I still can't get in,"
Atsuko looked confused, and a little worried,
"If the chain is on, then someone is home, right?"
Tamashi gave a nod,
"Yea, someone is inside. But the fact that the chain is on, tells me that whoever it is...has forgotten I'm coming home,"
Atsuko's eyes suddenly shone with sorrow. He frowned,
"...I see." he thought about it for a moment, then advanced to the porch picked up her book. He tucked into her discarded backpack and picked that up and held it by the side handle,
"...D'you know who it is?"
"Yes, it's my brother. My mom is in a meeting, and my father doesn't get home until late,"
Atsuko only nodded and took her hand,
"C'mon, you're welcome at my house until everyone at your place is back,"
~
Kagome looked up as the door opened, and was startled to see Tamashi entering behind Atsuko,
"Oh, hello, Tamashi, what brings you here?"
Atsuko set her things down by the door and said,
"Her door is locked, she can't get inside,"
Kagome's eyebrows raised, then she went back to setting the timer for dinner.
"How was school?"
Atsuko smiled and climbed onto a kitchen stool, motioning for Tamashi to do the same. When they were both comfortable, Atsuko started,
"The teacher says I get along with the others nice enough, but I need to stop reading because you don't know how to teach it properly,"
Tamashi giggled slightly,
"I sat in the corner for a near hour because I told the teacher about Neko."
Kagome looked at her, "What's that?"
"Neko's family doesn't accept charity, and they have their ups'n'downs. Today she didn't have lunch and when the teacher offered her the money to get some she refused and the teacher got mad at her. I had to explain she was just like that. She put me in the corner,"
Atsuko nodded,
"Yea, she likes to use the ruler, don't she?"
Kagome glanced at him, and Atsuko reworded quickly, "Doesn't she?"
Tamashi nodded, her smile making her cheeks hurt.
Kagome straightened and said,
"Well, you two start your homework, and I'll call Tamashi's house in a while to see if everythings alright. Okay?"
The two nodded and went to get their books.
***
"Hello, Mr. Ume speaking,"
"Hello, Mr. Ume, my name is Kagome Takahashi. I wanted to let you know that your daughter is just fine," she said it in a nice tone, twirling a lock of hair around her finger.
The voice of Mr. Ume sounded outraged,
"What happened to Tamashi?!"
Kagome sighed and explained,
"You see, my son Atsuko brought her to our house after she told him the doors to her own house were locked and she couldn't get inside. Nothing bad had happened, I just didn't want you to worry. She explained someone was home, as the chain was on, but no one would answer the door. She's fine, I assure you, her and Atsuko are doing their homework,"
Mr. Ume's sigh was loud, he seemed relieved,
"Thank you, Mrs. Takahashi, for that. I would've indeed been worried. Would you mind keeping her for dinner, then I'll come pick her up?"
"Not at all, we'd love to have her!"
"Thank you. I'll make sure this doesn't happen again,"
"Thank you, Mr. Ume,"

And the conversation ended.

Twenty minutes after the dinner mess was cleaned, a car drove into the driveway and Ichimarou announced the doorbell was not going to ring, but the person would knock three times.
And, seven seconds later, three knocks sounded.
Inuyasha, who had gotten home a matter of 40 minutes ago, answered the door. He was shocked, but Kagome saved him, "Oh, hello, Mr. Ume!"
She hurried to her husbands' side and greeted him. He gave a slight smile and asked about Tamashi, who appeared all ready to go. Mr. Ume took Tamashi by the hand,
"Thank you, for your hospitality,"
Inuyasha smiled, "It's nothing, we're glad for her company. That's really one intelligent girl you've got. Lucky too, as my boy isn't the best in some studies,"
Mr. Ume gave a forced chuckle, like he'd never laughed before, and began to lead a waving Tamashi away. At the car, after the door shut, he looked at his daughter,
"Was the door really locked?"
"Yes,"
"It was your brother again, wasn't it? Kami, I am going to beat his a**!"
Tamashi repressed the giggle at the thought of her 17 year old brother getting the spoon. She simply bit her lower lip and stared out of the window.
"...Those people were nice, then, Tamashi?"
"Oh? Yes, papa, they are. Atsuko goes to my school and we play all the time,"
"Play?"
"Yeah, our favorite game is tag,"
Mr. Ume frowned, "Tamashi, he's a Half-Breed,"
Tamashi shrugged, "So? He's nice, just like his dad,"
"And how would you know about his dad, huh?"
"...How can I go into someone's house and not talk to them? Mr. Takahashi is very nice, and so is Mrs. Takahashi."
"...Alright, bed when we get home,"
"Uh-huh,"

A/N: How's this? OMG, I think I called Kagome Higurashi instead of Takahashi!! If you see it...tell me where it is!!
