Who would it be and why?

I would choose Joseph Stalin and Richard Nixon! Why? So that I can stick them in a room together with a sandwich and a bottle of water in the middle of the room, and leave Stalin and Nixon there for 1 week and see what happens

Hmmm

Karl Marx and Adam Smith.
I'd go to dinner with the two and watch them argue about their beliefs.

If I could, I'd bring back first John Henry Bonham, Led Zeppelin's drummer. That way so him and the other surviving members of Zeppelin, Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones, could truly re-form Led Zeppelin and continue the great musical work that was ended so suddenly with Bonham's death in 1980.

Second person I'd bring back would be John Lennon. He didn't deserve to be shot to death in December of 1980 and bringing him back would allow him and Paul McCartney to maybe get together and write some new songs and possibly do an album. Reforming the Beatles unfortunately would be out of the question since George Harrison died not to long ago.
