Title: Two cats

Two Cats

There were two cats
Who loved to play
Yes everyday

The older cat was handsome and strong
The younger cat was smart and delicate
Nonetheless both were beautiful
Both cats had lived together for years
Without problems they lived happily

But one day their future was shattered
The older cat had stolen cat nip
The cat nip, Oh so tempting to sniff
Had now defeated the older cat
That cat never had self control

The guilt trip had only just begun
Oh when the cat nip had just ran out
T’was when the twins started to fight
And the Younger Cat was unforgiving
And the cats were separated when
When they were sold separately

It's a metaphor. Can you guess what it really means?
