Title: The Crystal Rose
Description: Lots of crap shoved in 1 fic. MY FIC.

Ok... So here's my new ficcy... Well, the prologue of it. I know the paragraphs are too short and stuff. But bear with me. =)

Prologue

The wind howled as if it were a wolf howling at the moon as eight forboding figures gathered. It was dark night; no street lamps were lit and heavy cloud of fog threatened to smother any evidence of life. The figures had gathered at an old wooden bench in the center of an old neighborhood playground beneath a greath Oak. All was silent untill one of the figures chuckled maliciously.

"So you guys accually think we'll join you and you're pathetic rebellion eh? You're more desperate than we'd thought."

The speaker was a scrawny teen dressed in a pair of baggy camoflauge cargos and an oversized black hoodie. His scorning red eyes peered out from under a mat of dull brown hair and his crooked smile revealed pointed teeth. Behind him was four more teen boys and in front of him stood three strangers:
two boys and a single girl.

The boy chuckled again.

"I'm surprised you guys even showed up after getting turned down my the faeries."

The figures to his front remained silent and he frowned at their lack of emotion.

"So what makes you think we'll want to join The Rebellion anyway?" he asked after a long pause. "Ever since this whole thing started we've been neutral and haven't gotten any trouble from the Yazin. What makes you think that'll change now?"

"Because we know that the Yazin are beginning making their move and will want more allies." said the taller of the boys.

"And how can you be sure of that?" the red-eyed boy scrutinized the other boy with pure hatred as he spoke. The boy's pale blonde hair looked gray in the darkness.

"Because it's happened in the past. We tried to warn the faeries when they started to move but failed to keep them from the Yazin's grasp. Now we are trying to save more beings from the faerie's fate." This time it was the girl who spoke. Her wisely chosen words were sharpened with her hostile tone.

The red-eyed boy turned his gaze to rest on the girl. She wore a pair of plain black pants and a dark green raincoat with the hood pulled over her head so all that he could see of her face was her eyes peering out from the shadows. Her eyes were a frightening shade of bright amber. As soon as he looked into them he felt his blood run cold. He felt as if she was looking into his very soul. He shuddered
inwardly and quickly looked away.

"Oh really? You're just trying to save us from some aweful fate? And what aweful fate might that be?" his voice was cracked slightly with fear.

"What fate?" the shorter boy inquired. "What fate?" he asked again. "Death. Tourture. Suffering. Having to obey evil because you fear for your life. Do you need me to say any more?"

The boy looked straight into the red-eyed boy's eyes. He looked only a mere 13 years old and even in the foggy darkness you could see the color of his hair: bright red.

The red-eyed boy laughed.

"My people aren't afraid of the bullshit threats you meddlers bring back from your 'oh so noble' missions." There was a murmur of agreement from behind him. "And even if those threats are true, how would you, a kid, know about them, half-blood?"

The red-headed boy's eyes widened and he suddenly drew a hidden dagger from his sleeve. "How dare you call me that you damn-" the boy was interupted as the girl grabbed him by the scruff of his shirt.

"Calm down, Kael." she said sternly.

"But he called me a half-" the boy roared.

"No!" the girl shook him vigorously from the hold she had on his shirt. "Don't listen to that scaly bastard. He doesn't know what he's talking about."

"Hm." the boy grunted as he tugged away from the girl's grasp. "Fine. But next time he calls me that I'll-"

"Shut up, Kael." came the blunt order from the blonde boy. "Don't make things worse."

The boy called "Kael" shot a venomously glare to the other but said nothing.

"So. Do we have an agreement or do you need more time?" the blonde boy turned to the red-eyed one.

"Agreement? Hell, we're far from an agreement!" the boy shook his head. "Who in their right mind would want to be allies with you scum?"

"So you need more time?" the blonde boy sighed.

"Yeah, I guess you could say that." the red-eyed boy replied.

The blonde boy stared at the ground at his feet, clearly unwilling to speak further.

"Hm." was the red-eyed boy's last reply before the he and the four other dissapeard into the fog. The three remaining people were silent for a minute.

"Are you alright?" the girl asked the blonde boy.

The boy didn't look up from the ground as he replied. "You know what Bae?"

"What?" the girl asked.

"I hate being serious."

So there's the prologue. Stupid right? Yeah, I know.

Tell me if you want me to continue. But I'm probably going to anyway because... I want to...

(O.O) Hoot.

xD

Don't call your work stupid. Have more faith in it. I like it. A little background information would be better for a prologue though. I was lost. xD But I liked it.

Thanks. Usually whenever I write a fic I just get a bunch of noobs reading it who think a crap fic is gold. xD

I know I need to work on my backround a little. But I wrote this as soon as the idea popped into my head and I didn't think about it too much before I posted it...

I shouldn't have done that!

=)

I like it, it reminds me of a few books I have read. It has the same mood and tone. Ominous. Very nice.

Other than a spelling error or two, everything was wonderful. :DDD

By the way, I love your sig song. Falling in the Black. <3
((Sig song sounds weird xD ))
