Title: The anime IS going to be continued!!!!!!
Rachel - February 1, 2008 01:56 AM (GMT)
It has been announced that the anime WILL continue once the mange ends which will happen some time within the next year. Also there will be one more movie which is pretty much ending the anime for good cause they kick the crap out of Naraku. Also how awesome would it be if Inuyasha really did have a sister?
Saku-Tatsuya - February 1, 2008 02:02 AM (GMT)
Ugh!
The anime will end up being 300 some episodes considering how long the manga has been going.

Um...
Proof?
anime dragon - February 1, 2008 02:22 AM (GMT)
That's just wishful thinking. If it is true, give me a link to a reliable site that announced it or something.

There are longer animes. And I will find a site with reliable proof.

I meant to say 300 more episodes.
And name one anime longer then that. And pokemon doesn't count!
Midnight_Melody - February 1, 2008 02:42 AM (GMT)
Naruto is going to be long...XD

Saku-Tatsuya - February 1, 2008 02:43 AM (GMT)
Either way, from the looks of it, Inuyasha will always be a never ending anime.
Rin_Sama - February 1, 2008 02:43 AM (GMT)
Even if this were the case...... they still wouldn't be able to get the voice actors back. I think Richard Cox has washed his hands of Inuyasha
Saku-Tatsuya - February 1, 2008 02:45 AM (GMT)
Either that or they're going to have to redub the english version all over again.
Unless they're going to be like DBZ and find new voice actors.

Oh well
It will be really tough to get used to new voice actors. I really cannot picture anyone else but Richard Cox playing Inuyasha or Kirby Morrow Playing Miroku the other voices (except Brenna O'Brian) I really don't care about tis just those three that would be hard. But who knows, maybe if it was just for one movie to FINALLY end the long and milked so dry I can see sand in the DVD player show then they may come back if they are paid enough

Well they could hire Vic M (I can't spell his last name but he voiced Ed) to voice Inuyasha. He is a really good voice actor from what I've seen so far!
like_light_to_the_flies - February 1, 2008 03:02 AM (GMT)
Dude, you know that if they go ahead and finish it, it's gonna rack in miilions of dollars. Anyone, including Richard Cox, wouldn't say no to money to like that.

Richard Cox wont wash his hands if his paycheck doubles :) He would be a complete fool if he turns away that kind of money :)
scarlet - February 1, 2008 09:25 AM (GMT)
i really don't care...since the manga is so nerve breaking why would i want to see it again??
anyway,it is possible coz a lot of people want it ... if i was the head of sunrise i wouldn't miss such a deal
anime dragon - February 1, 2008 04:53 PM (GMT)
I guess Sunrise is busy with Gundam 00 and all... But I still don't see why they can't make more IY.
Rachel - February 1, 2008 10:32 PM (GMT)
It's also possable that they are going to do the same thing as FMA and make the anime different from the manga so they can put different ideas, have people want to watch the anime, and make it so it is neverending.
On another note...
Poor Miroku is gonna die soon. :cryriver: (highlight. Might be a spoiler for some.)
kikyophobia - February 2, 2008 04:26 PM (GMT)
Well, think about it... How many years would it take to animate it? How many years would it take to do the voice overs AND to ship it over to America AND to do the voice overs here? How many fans do you think will be left? I'm not saying EVERYONE is going to lose interest, but I'm more than willing to bet that a lot of people will. Even by the time they got in Japan, I don't think there would be as many fans as there used to be.
It's a waste of money. What they SHOULD do is simply make a movie of the ending of the manga. At this point, the end is what most people care about anyway.
Saku-Tatsuya - February 2, 2008 06:25 PM (GMT)
One of the main reasons why they didn't bother until now is veiw rate!
Haiyato Berzerker - February 2, 2008 09:03 PM (GMT)
I just love how the fillers invaded the manga too
Full Metal Jacket - February 2, 2008 11:09 PM (GMT)

HUMANITY FTL.
Saku-Tatsuya - February 3, 2008 06:33 PM (GMT)
Because of my keyboard yesterday being screwed up I couldn't write up my wall of text. Anyways here is what I was going to say:
Why would they bother continuing it now? They had the perfect chance to a year ago to do so but they missed that chance; mainly because the manga was so far ahead of the anime. Not only that but just last year Inuyasha still had its many fans waiting for new episodes! That would've been the perfect chance to take but no, they decided to wait longer. And there would be no point in having the anime continued; most fans resorted to reading the manga pages on websites that provide the latest chapters.
Also Rachel, have you not realized that people have been saying this for years now? Hell, they've been saying it since 2006 and so far there has been no word about it! Do you have any solid proof that says they're going to actually continue it? As in, actual news articles, reliable source of any kind to support your statement? I'm sick of fans who keep saying "LIKE OMG INUYASHA IS GONNA BE CONTINUED! ^___^ KAWAII DESU!" And in the end they have no other proof but to say 'I heard about it!'
the only thing I'd hope for out of Inuyasha is for it to FINALLY FUCKING END ALREADY! I SWEAR TO GOD IT IS A NEVER ENDING SERIES AND ITS GETTING ANNOYING! *Sigh* The manga chapters nowadays don't even deserve to be animated due to how pathetic they are. The new chapters are nothing to freak out about because we all know that the Inu Gang is going to be A-OK because Rumiko doesn't need to kill off her main characters. >>
Haiyato Berzerker - February 3, 2008 06:49 PM (GMT)
It'd be a suprise if Inuyasha and Kagome died together fighting Naraku...

You found out the secret message behind the paragraph! But seriously; I'm getting annoyed by people who keep lying and saying that Inuyasha is going to be continued.

Heh, people say in 2012 the world will end.
2013 I'm going to be laughing my head off.
Anywyas, this is like that whole "I heard so and so say it will be continued the first Thursday of November 2009, when the Manga is finished." or other crap like that. It probably won't happen. Maybe, but more than likely no.
There's just to much to catch up on.
scarlet - February 5, 2008 04:04 PM (GMT)
i dont know if its gonna be continued or not...but its possible as long as there is still some fans how wants to finish the anime
but by 2012..i belive all fans will move on with thier lives
