Seen it in 2005-2006, down the shore.

Saw it randomly on TV

Watched a marathon of it with Jake at 3 in the morning and I got hooked.

It was on the TV Guide. I thought the name sounded cool, so I first saw it in 2003-2004.

I saw a commercial. Looks like it succeeded in it's purpose. lol

Started watching it on TV and got hooked. Found IJ randomly and began by reading fanfics. Then I decided to go off and get the manga and began reading that

Taped it for a friend. Watched it. Liked it.

Flipping through random channels on the TV. I saw the episode where Kikyo "died" again by falling into the purple river thing of doom er whatever.

Yep.

Was watching Trigun on Cartoon Network and InuYasha came on after it. I watched it and found it was pretty cool. Liked it ever since.

My friend was dicussing it and I asked her it was.

Like always I was exploring all kinds of anime. I had read about Inuyasha, it was about a half Dog Half Human that had fallen in love with a girl. I saw some pictures of Inuyahsa and thought to myself that this guy was cute. I didn't get a chance to see the show til a few months later when I watched it on YTV. The first episode that I saw was the one with the Shikikami dolls. I thought it was funny so I continued to watch the series. The second one really got me into the show. I thought Sesshoumaru was the best looking villain I had seen(The first one I saw was when he was fighting with Inuyasha with the Dragon arm) I thought to myself, why on earth make this guy a villain, he don't have the eyes of a villain. But then Rin OMG I thought she was perfect for him

interesting, I saw it advertised and after a bit the guy who owned the video shop ordered in heaps of anime and manga and I found out that he has the largest anime collection in the state? And he turned out to be a fan of it and also recommended it, so I read the back of a cover and it sounded weird so I got hooked on the story. After reading some of the manga online I thought the anime should've stuck to how it was created originaly,it's not hardcore or anything so it didn't really need to be toned down.
What do you think?

I was doing a Quiz on Quizilla and a picture of Naraku and i drooled like.
and looked it up on Wiki, then started watching it and erm i got hooked, mainly on Naraku

Hmmm... Well, I had a friend who was very laid-back and ordinary. (Usually. :chidorisd: ) Anyways, that friend told me about Inuyasha some time ago. Something you might find strange is that I remember little bits and pieces of conversations and events that are utterly random. I don't remember much except those bits and pieces, and at the strangest times they suddenly pop up in my mind. So one day I was anime exploring, and I saw the word "inuyasha" and that memory of Inuyasha popped up, and I acted upon the momentary whime simply because I was bored. Now I'm hooked.

The anime may be dead, but the manga and the fanfiction live on!!! :bigeyescry:

my friend told me about it..i downloaded the first episode and i didn't really like it
but then i saw another episode at my friends house and i thought i should give it another chance...now I'm obsessed^^

I was in elementary school, and I saw a commercial for it on Adult Swim. From my prospective all I saw was some old guy (Myoga) say "You can tell by their tempers that they're related" and I saw a guy with dog ears. I personally thought that it sounded stupid. Until I saw one of the episodes one night. Then I got addicted. I'm trying to think of the first episode that I saw..................give me a sec....................Oh! It was the birds of paradise one! Right before Koga kidnapped Kagome! InuYasha was like "What am I your little dog boy" (Or something like that) and I thought it was funny. So I watched more!
(And just so you know those dot dot dots were my actual thinking spaces! lol)

Flipping through the TV channels, saw Kouga and I was all, "Why the heck is this guy wearing a skirt?!" My mom was doing the laundry and she heard me yell that XD

Now, I love Kouga to death. The show not so much until it shows him.

My friends, who were sooo into manga at the time, showed me probably.

I bought a volume but it was only months later that I discovered it was a show.

My friend showed me. I was obsessed but I moved on to other anime. My friend, on the other hand is still obsessed. oO;
The first episode I saw was when Kouga kidnapped Kagome. (...wtf...) Which has made me a InuKag fan... You can't blame me cuz the first ep I saw was Inuyasha freaking out cuz Kagome was gone. (in my mind that equals destined couple)

I remember when I first saw Sesshomaru in the theme song. I thought he was totally kickass cuz he had a dragon arm at the time. I was all like, "DUDE! I MUST KNOW WHO THAT AWESOME DUDE WITH THE FURRY THING IS!!!!!!" Total dorkness...

My Friend had drew him and I thought it was girl at first, thought it was a female cat girl lol then I watched the show from the same friend who had it taped when I spent the night with her she pulled the tapes out, it was before 2000, I was in middle school I think, but I can't remember exaccally when. I first saw the episode of when Kikyou had Kagome trapped on the tree while she tried to take Inuyasha to hell with her, my friend was yelling Bit** at her for it and I guess I just got stuck to it. I never really liked Kikyou and that was probably why lol

The first time I saw InuYasha was years ago while staying over at a friend's house. She was hardcore into anime and stuff. She had Cartoon Network on late at night; I think we had it on to watch Cowboy Bebop or something. Anyway, I believe the first episode I watched of InuYasha was the Hellpainter episode - and I was like, 'Whoa.' I don't know if it was that particular episode, but my only clear memory besides watching that episode was the Fukai Mori outro with Sesshoumaru walking around looking pretty. I asked my friend, 'Who's that hot chick?' and she replied, 'That's InuYasha's older brother.' I laughed and said, 'Oh, well, I'd still do him.' Hilarity ensued.

A few years later, I flipped by Adult Swim because nothing else was on and caught a couple episodes. Every now and then, I'd watch late at night when I had nothing else to watch. One night, I was like, 'You know what, I like this series, it's cool. I'm gonna start really watching it.' So I started recording the episodes. When I finished watching the whole series, I was hungry for more...
So, here I am. :D
