So lately, I've been getting back into my Sailor Moon craze. I've come across YouTube videos and forum discussion (among other things) that pit Sailor Moon against Winx Club. I think this is ridiculous, since some people say Winx Club is better than Sailor Moon. I disagree. I strongly disagree. The reasons are obvious, don't you think?

What are you're opinions on the matter? Please, do share.

Someone's even said that Winx Club was a better show because all the girls on Sailor Moon ever care about are boys. That was a stupid comment, no?

I sometimes wonder who brought up the subject on the internet in the first place. Winx Club and Sailor Moon are two different shows. And obviously, not many other magical girl animes can compare.

Yup. And it's pretty crazy how most of them are like 11 year old fangirls who have never even seen Sailor Moon, and yet they say it sucks. I can say Winx Club sucks because I have seen it and not be biased.

It sparked my interest and I had high hopes for it, but it fell short. For a while I thought it was all right, but now I really don't see why I liked it in the least bit. Bloom is a total Mary Sue. >>

And to make matters worst, 4Kids is it's dubbing company, and you know that they are money hungry business people who tear anime to shreds (and even non-anime) only for the purpose of profit.

My cousin has a Winx Club DVD. You know what the supposed 'BONUS FEATURES' are? Advertisments for the card game and some stationary set and the dolls and the comics! Correct me if I'm wrong, but those don't fit my idea of bonus features.

Neither of them is good. (But I'm not a girly girl)

But, if I had to choose, I'd go for Sailor Moon.
Why?
Because Winx is giving a wrong idea about what a girl should look like.

Sailor moon is way better? why?

Because there are three things Sailor moon has that Winx does not:

1) Character development
2) Solid plotline
3) better graphics

All those stupid sissy faries care about are boys, fashion and all that crap. It hardly qualifies as 'good' in the least bit.

Also, those fairies are so thin. They look like sick barbie dolls. At least Sailor Moon had variety, and they weren't rail thin.

Some were tall, some were short, some were bigger than others, some where smaller. I like that about Sailor Moon. And some people complained about the show being bad for children, because of the lesbian relationship between Neptune and Uranus (even though it was cut out in the dub.)

That's really stupid. For one, I support that couple. For two, Sailor Moon wasn't intended for children to watch.

I've seen Winx so I can also say SM blows it out the water.

I haven't really watched either. But the lips on the Winx Clubs don't match and that bothers me. Its like one of those old godzilla movies. So I guess that I would have to say Sailor Moon, by default.
