I'm all for waiting for the episode when diva finaly gets killed and dies by siya.
Hanyoukai - March 13, 2008 01:01 AM (GMT)
I've only seen the first three episodes and my favourite character is Moses, even though he hasn't been introduced yet.
I hope he does soon.

i could tell you about it,but if you don't want me to spoil it for you just let me know.

Well, on Adult Swim, just last Saturday, Saya killed Diva, but it wasn't really a very happy moment. As I had suspected, they made it quite emotional and by the end of the episode, you're as upset for Diva as you are for Saya, and Saya is starting to do some irrational things as well, that are starting to make me a little upset (though I really do understand how she must feel). If you haven't seen the second to the last episode, yet, though, I won't ruin it for you.
I've always kind of felt sorry for and understood Saya and Diva throughout the series. Especially later on when they start revealing things about both of them that makes you love and hate them both at the same time.
I really like Blood Plus, in the simple fact that the characters are easy to connect to. I've realised a lot lately that when Saya does something that irritates others, I just kind of understand her. The same is true for Diva, to an extent. They're very... human characters. Sometimes they make horrible mistakes that make you go 'eww' a little, but there are also times when they are just magnificent. Like I said, very human. The series has some very good developement of characters that feel very real and believeable, I guess is what I was trying to say.
My favorite character? Hagi. Hands down. I love him so much. Oh, and Solomon is pretty awesome, too.
My least favorite character? Probably Carl. I felt sorry for him and all but he was kind of annoying and creepy.

Yeah i saw that episode as well and i wasn't all that excited either about Diva dying. And im a little worried about saiyas actions as well.
KamiYugure - March 21, 2008 04:34 AM (GMT)
Yeah. As a big sister, I don't really think Saya should go through with what she's said she wanted to do at the end of the episode. That was just... yeah. No. I was really just hoping that Kai would step and I don't know... stop her!
But with how the story is right now... it kind of feels like, no matter what she does, things won't go well. I dunno. This Saturday is the last episode and I really hope they wrap it up well.
Though I've heard talk that it ends... tragically. I'm definately not looking forward to that.

i couldn't get into that much but i am anticipating Divas death!
Hanyoukai - March 22, 2008 03:05 AM (GMT)
xD Thanks for the spoilers xD
Ehh... It's obvious it's not going to end well. The mood of the whole thing is melancholy, even when there's a happy moment.
How many episodes are there?
I'm trying to finish Death Note and I'm thinking about watching Hellsing. If I do, I'd have to learn how many episodes and such. It's taking me forever to finish Death Note, but I know what happens at the ending.
D:

Efflorescence - April 1, 2008 11:30 AM (GMT)
Hagi was my main reason for watching the show! But then I started to really like the plot! The last episode nearly had me in tears :cryriver:
Hagi was sooooo romantic! I mean the only time that the guy speaks his mind, the most beautiful words come out!
inner hollow - April 1, 2008 01:28 PM (GMT)
Yeah that was a very dramatic part in the last episode. and it was kind of depressing to tell the truth.
Efflorescence - April 2, 2008 12:22 AM (GMT)
Tell it isn't like he died or anything, So I was happy.
I was just upset that Saya had to sleep again. I mean Geeze Kai will be in his 40's when Saya wakes up! Sheesh!
inner hollow - April 2, 2008 01:21 PM (GMT)
yeah that is kind of lame how they ended it like that.
taylor shessy's girl - April 3, 2008 09:48 PM (GMT)

Well, true, it is a bit depressing, but with the plot, I believe it ended as positively as it logically could have. I was actually quite satisfied with the ending, especially the fact that the 2 daughters were raised together so they won't have to fight each other their whole lives like saya and diva did. As far as their looks go, I think they're just supposed to look a lot like saya and diva, probably... maybe with some Riku influences.
But yeah, I was pretty satisfied with the ending, because I know that Saya will wake up eventually and then she can live a nice happy life with Hagi and Kai and her nieces before she sleeps again. It's really quite nice to think about where it could go. I mean, hey man, at least they're all still alive!
Blood + = probably my favorite anime to date, perhaps with the exception of Fruits Basket. That anime is amazing, also.
Have any of you seen the movie Blood: The Last Vampire? You know, Blood + is actually the continuation of the story in that movie. Though I will say that the art is REALLY different. It looks a lot like the original Ghost in the Shell, meaning that the art is pretty realistic, and you might not recognize Saya until they call her by name. I think the plot of the movie was a bit deeper and a little better than the cliché-ridden series and Saya is much less whiny and helpless. In fact in the movie she is a total bad-arse with the whole don't-touch-me-or-I'll-freakin'-kill-you attitude going on which automatically equals awesome in my book, and her being a chick with that attitude gives her extra awesome bonus points! I can't remember if Hagi actually showed up in the movie, though. I think he did, but I can't remember. It's been far too long.

Yeah that's true, but it left me with so many questions. but i do know that she does wake up, because there happens to be a movie called " Blood: The last vampire."

I believe the events in that movie happen before blood plus. I'm sure she'll wake up, but that movie isn't about her after she wakes up again. I think. I don't know for sure though, because it's been so long since I've seen it.
