Title: Google's corruption

Haiyato Berzerker - May 10, 2008 06:15 PM (GMT)
Google is a HUGELY used search engine on the internet, BUT did you know that google is corrupt?

Let me explain how:

The google desktop program you can download, it gives google 100% access to your hard drive and ALL of your personal files, bet you didn't read that in the terms of service if it even is there

Next is the google toolbar for your web browsers (internet explorer, firefox, opera, etc). It lets google track EVERY page you've been to and see EVERY cookie that the browser saves

Now, onto google itself. Did you know that EVERY google search you do saves what you searched and your IP at the time for 15 years? Probably didn't, and its pretty scary to think how easily this information could be used against you.

One final thing I want to say about google, not sure if its really what I make it to be, but everyone by now must know how google own's youtube, apparently you can no longer send the links of videos to people, sending the links over MSN results in the infamous "This message cannot be delivered" message.

Isn't it great to know all of this? 8D

Kinda of a scary thought there...Hmmm i will take note of all this new information.

And yes i did notice they no longer allow you to send the link to a freind. Another piece of the 'Big Brother" puzzle falling into place. They are watching.

becoming more and more frightened of the rapidly changing state of our country. Soon enough we will be using guns to get our gas instead of money. Thats actually already taking place around the country. And even more bizzare ways to get gas or money... A "Mad Max" world doesnt look that far off....

Thanks for the enlightenment...

Oh palease.
If you live in America, you do know that our Government watches everything we type in too, eh?
It's not just Google.
Not going on Google, is not going to save your/our privacy.
Everyone should know that there is nothing private in this world anymore.
If the government wanted to direct satlilites through your window to watch you they could. Leaving Google wont help you.
Unless of course you don't live in America, and your country doesn't watch you.
But even then, if America wanted to they could still track you.

You download it, so its your fault if they can see your hard drive. And storing your searches is pretty much 90% of the reason google exists. Wonder how much they get for telling people what everyone wants....

Its actually disgusting that they get away with it too

Personally, I agree with their methods.
I say that the Government should be watching the internet and such.
Thats how they catch a lot of pedos, etc.
Also what if someone was looking up hacker sites/or bombing sites to use badly?
Yea, theres tons of people like that.
You really shouldn't care that you're being watched, unless of course you look up things THEN you should worry.
Haha
