Okay, so basically this a Neji-centered Roleplay, set in Naruto Shippuuden(timeskip). It will start out right before the "Rescue Gaara" arc, and on through there. It doesn't have a very specific Storyline, but it has the same Mission: To rescue Gaara from the Akatsuki, duh.

Anyways, We'll start from there and we'll sort of make our own thing out of the basic plot. We can switch around characters going on the mission, etc.

I'd rather not have OC's. I hate dealing with OC characters, so I'd prefer you use the characters in the manga. If you want an OC in the roleplay, please Private Message me with a form for the character, asking me permission to use it.

No more than one female character per person(since there are less female characters than males), and no more than three characters TOTAL for each person.

Also, if you are going to be an Akatsuki member, USE COMMON SENSE. Don't just have Itachi walk up to Neji and the gang, saying, "Hey guys?" Just because you feel left out, because it's not time for the Akatsuki to come in yet. That is why I'm allowing you to be more than one character.

Actually, Itachi and Kisame are in the Rescue Gaara Arc. xD They're supposed to distract both squads, I believe.

[Alright, so should we begin with Gaara's kidnapping, or should we begin when Neji and the gang are assigned the mission? and since we don't have all the characters that origionally went, we need two full teams.]

Okay, well here's the plot in a nutshell.

Naruto comes back after two years of training blah blah.

Gaara gets kidnapped by the Akatsuki(you know they are after Jinchuuriki), kidnapped by Deidara and Sasori.

Origionally, NAruto, Sakura, and Kakashi are assigned to go to suna for Sakura to heal Kankuro(who was poisoned by Sasori and was almost dead), and then find the hideout and take Gaara back. Neji, TenTen, Lee, and Gai were all sent as back-up for them, and helped get them into the base. Naruto and his crew run into a clone(they didn't know it at the time) of Itachi, while Neji and the gang ran into a clone(they didn't know it at the time) of Kisame.
They did battle there, the teams defeating the clones. Then they found out they were clones. Finally, after skillfully removing the tags and Sakura's strength going BOOM on the giant stone door of the hideout, they get it, and meet Deidara and Sasori, sitting on Gaara's dead body like a couch.
So then, Deidara runs off with Gaara, and Naruto and his crew go after him except for Sakura and Chiyo, an elder from suna that went with them. She's also Sasori's grandmother, so Sakura and Chiyo stay back to fight Sasori.
They kill him, Deidara has both of his arms blown off, and Tobi looses Sasori's Akatsuki ring.
Gai gives Kakashi a piggy-back ride back to Konoha, and Lee tries to give Neji one, but Neji yells, "HELL NO!"

That's all I'll say for now.

[Oh, he comes back to life. Chiyo uses a jutsu and gives him her life. I cried in that episode, it was so sweet.. We'll start now. And you're accepted, Orochimaru/Kabuto/Hidan/Gai.

(Heh... Hidan and Deidara would actually be quite entertaining as a team. Hidan's obsession with his faith clashes quite nicely with Deidara practically worshipping his art. This isn't a bump, whatever do you mean?)

Neji stood impatiently at the gates of Konoha, waiting for TenTen, Lee, and Gai to show up. He tapped his foot upon the ground, huffing as his arms folded over his chest.

"Nejiii!" He turned around to see TenTen waving at him, grinning as she adjusted her pack over her shoulders. She approached him, starting conversation as they waited for the others.
