Ahem. I would normally write in much greater detail; however, I prefer simplicity when it comes to song lyrics. Maybe that's just my taste. Anyway, I am going to be posting the music to this piece soon if anyone is interested. Oh, and I know that the rhythm might seem off in certain lines, but it works with the piano. Trust me. I'm a decent musician. ~_^

Death By Alcohol

A man is dressed in black.
The alcohol gave him higher appeal.
She touched him—no turning back,
and all of her fears became real.
He said: I’ll help you out with the baby,
but she couldn’t count on a lie. He
had other plans in his mind.

His fingers winding,
she is hiding,
keeping her daughter alive
just long enough for him to take her life—
her soul.
She is screaming for him to let go,
and he won’t.
He won’t.

She asked him to stop,
but he was there outside her window,
inside her every thought;
and for the life of her, she couldn’t just
throw herself away.
He said: I’ll make you lose your baby.
It should be easy at worst,
so she told him he could take her fragile body,
as long her little girl wasn’t hurt.

she is dying,
keeping her daughter alive
just long enough for him to take her life—
her soul.

“Please don’t!” she cries.
“Don’t say a word.”
But the doctors lower their eyes.
The girl had finally heard.
For hours they fought,
but it was way too early.
The baby was smaller than they thought.
She couldn’t be saved.

she is fighting,
keeping her daughter alive
in her memory
forever and long enough
for her to take his life.

The police say it was suicide.
A gun to the head, that’s how he died.
Well, she pulled the trigger
because this was bigger
than anyone knew.
And he couldn’t be saved.

This reminds me of the discussion we had yesterday.

That's what it's about. I needed to find a healthy outlet, so I figured music was the best way to just get it all out.

When you adapt the lyrics to the music...I get to hear it first, got it?
