cause most people play if for free so they don't really get the money for improvements. (Don't exactly know if that is true but it it's pretty damn believable.

WoW is definitely a step UP from runescape, even thoguh blizzard's never had an orriginal idea since...
And the only "taste" someone has in games is genre. Which has no absolute values; It's completely subjective.
I don't usually care what kind of game I'm playing, just as long as I'm having fun.
