So the other day my friend and I were talking about how Ebaums World has a bad reputation for stealing content from other sites suchs as Newgrounds, Albino Blacksheep, ect. Mind you, Ebaums is hated a lot because of that.

However, Youtube on the other hand has all sorts of stolen content; which rages from stolen flashes to AMVs to TV episodes.

But what strikes odd to the both of us was the fact that Youtube had so much stolen content that at one point it got a lawsuit which cost them billions, yet no is complaining about how much stolen content it has. The only complaints about the site I hear are just about the users and that's it!

No, I do not exactly hate Youtube, it can be pretty enjoyable at times. I am only merely asking one question and one question alone: Why is it that everyone who bitches about Ebaums bitches about the stolen content and yet no one is complaining about stolen content on Youtube?

I'm pretty curious.

Because everyone loves Youtube because it's awesome and everything is there. On Ebaums... Well, everyone just doesn't like it. I don't know why.

But Youtube wins. Period.

Youtube is accessed by billions and loved more then hated

I've never been to ebaums in recent times, so this is the first I'm hearing of it being hated. Hold on, I'll have an answer in a second. Easy, youtube is a videosharing site, who wants to share pictures? That's so outdated. NO, joking, I'm not that stupid.

To be honest, I just prefer youtube because of all that abridged buddies that are on there. No real reason.

The only people who don't like Youtube are Newgrounders; just to let you know.

Did you know that the majority of stolen flashes on Youtube came from Newgrounds? Numa-Numa and Charlie the Unicorn are also both from Newgrounds. Ebaums is hated for mainly stealing flashes from many sites; its the same thing Youtube does.
