What'd they do to it? I'm a veteran of trips to the operating room myself.

I just got stitches removed from my latest surgery.

Ha, the pain medicine they had me taking at first made me loopy and then the second medicine just put me to sleep.

Strangely, I've not had to have that much pain medication after the surgeries I've been through. Even after having my chest opened up twice I've still not had to take much pain medicine afterwards. The Oxycodeine I've taken after the surgeries didn't do much other than dull the pain. I wasn't feeling loopy or anything like that.
I didn't have ANY pain meds after having my jaws worked on in 2000 because several nerve endings were severed during that operation so I literally did not feel anything after the surgery, even after the intravenous meds wore off.

[COLOR=red]Had a cyst....and prob the reason the meds did not have the same effect on you is cause you are older....I'm 16...my mother had surgery several times and she has been put on the same meds and did not get loopy....
+Daymare+: LOVE THEM :cheer:

The only real time I got loopy after taking Oxycodeine was one time I took some leftover I had from my first chest surgery. I had a really bad toothache. @_@ But it helped me get to sleep faster.
