I hate war, and i was wondering if it's a common feeling or is it just me???

Lady ZeiKumi - July 14, 2008 04:40 PM (GMT)
I hate war too. Sometimes it's necessary, but in the case of the current war, I don't think so. I don't even know why it's happening. Hopefully it'll end soon. My brother is a Marine and I don't want him to go over there. =(

Ashita Genki Ni Naare - July 14, 2008 06:06 PM (GMT)
World peace would be nice, but let's face it. It'll never happen. It just is something that no matter how much you wish and how much you do, it'll never happen. Like having no illness or disease. It's impossible.

This 'war' right now has no point.
And by the way it's not even a war, I forgot what the military calls it..
But it's not an actual war.
We could pull everyone out and there would be no damage.
And fyi America is not getting any money from it either.
A lot of people think we are, but we arn't.
Were actually spending more money on it than recieving.
Bush is only wanting to be over there to 'finish' what his dad started back in the 90's. September 11th was a way for him to have an excuse to be able to go back over.

I say pull everyone out.
And then IF the middle east does bomb us again, then bomb them back.
Everyday our people are dying and their people are dying, people forget that.
They whine about how bombs kill a lot of people, but more people are dying by just doing nothing and rotting over there.
I don't dislike Pres. Bush.
But he's not the brightest in some things.

inuyashamine4evr18 - July 14, 2008 08:26 PM (GMT)
heh it'll never happen.

princess_jojo_owns_fluffyinu - July 14, 2008 08:39 PM (GMT)
Also to have World Peace.
Everyone would have to think and believe that same way.
And THAT will never happen.
Also hate, and dislike start wars too.
And that will never go away either.

no i won't especially with 6 billion people on the planet. O~O

that's a lot of minds and languages.

lolita - July 14, 2008 10:41 PM (GMT)
Third option.

inuyashamine4evr18 - July 14, 2008 10:44 PM (GMT)
none of the above

Naraku. - July 15, 2008 01:44 AM (GMT)
Yeah, though Bush is pretty dim you've got to admit he's pretty unlucky. I mean Clinton didn't really come across anything, whilst Bush had to face the 9/11 and then the conflict with Iraq. However if I'm wrong about that its because I barely read the news and I'm not from America. >_>

Naraku. - July 15, 2008 01:46 AM (GMT)
If people would learn to stop having freaking babies and make a One child Policy or Two like china, then yeah World Peace. I'm so sick of people feeling sorry for the poor when it's partially their fault that they want to have so many children when they can't afford it! Poor kids!

Ashita Genki Ni Naare - July 15, 2008 02:21 AM (GMT)
Well, the thing about people having so many kids is because they want at least have one of their kids make it to adult hood. I mean, what if you know that there's a 95% chance of them dying before they're adults. Wouldn't you want to try and have as many kids as you can so that HOPEFULLY one will survive?

princess_jojo_owns_fluffyinu - July 15, 2008 03:11 AM (GMT)
I don't believe there should be a one child rule, because we'd still have people having more kids and then those kids would have to be put up for adoption, which could increase the suicide and crime rate; because a lot of kids who grew up without their parents turn to a life of crime or kill themselves because they feel so alone. Also China's not stopping people from having kids because of that rule, their only giving more away to be adopted.
And their usually girls too. :/
Boys are more benificial to a lot of people, because they can carry on the last name, if people keep sending their girls away then who are the guys gonna marry? O.o Lol

Ninja.girl - July 15, 2008 03:17 AM (GMT)
[sneezes]
Bombing for peace is like fucking for virginity.
And how does killing people solve the worlds problems?
I think war is dumb

Naraku. - July 15, 2008 05:35 AM (GMT)
Well the last name rule is f*cking gay and occurs almost everywhere. And the One Child Policy is going okay here since the Chinese are communists and you just CAN'T have more than 1 kid.

I just think it's really sick when people have like sooo many kids that they don't even pay enough attention to any of them. Like in Africa they have so many kids because they need more people to WORK.... and soon they get diseases because of their parents ignorance then they all die. I think this world is way tooo overpopulated with humans I don't even care if we die out soon. Other animals have died, and blegh they don't have enough brains to start wars which is good. We've had our time, (destroying this planet) and soon some other creatures going to come. As much as I hate wars, if we didn't have them I wonder how many of us there'd be.

But yeah...sexism is still a problem here, I think someone should just screw with the Last Name rule. I mean WHO is going to remember your ancestors or give a **** about your generation besides your own people?

BTW why the hell do people despise Virgins so much? At least they're benefitting this world by not overpopulating it. What's up with Virgin Mary?

Ashita Genki Ni Naare - July 15, 2008 05:42 AM (GMT)
YO. I'M A VIRGIN. DON'T BE HATING YO.

Naraku. - July 15, 2008 06:26 AM (GMT)
LOL DUH!! XD But a few in my year aren't virgins anymore! It scares me >_>

Hey! I'm poor, have no children - don't intend on having any children, EVER - and I come from a 'middle-class' family, of which I'm the only child. So, hey, poor can happen to anyone.
I voted for peace cos, just because it's a virtual impossibility doesn't mean we don't wish it. :)
As for the virginity thing, I too think it's scary how it seems kids are losing it earlier and earlier. Then again, in my age group, 14 or 15 seems to be the common age. I WAITED until I was 17 (found the right guy) because I thought (and pretty much still do) that any younger than (at least) 16 is too young and a mistake. Ha, I'm such a prude.
:kicking:

Teiana - July 16, 2008 04:16 AM (GMT)
I would personally LOVE World Peace, but sadly its not an option. As long as people are allowed to live then there is ALWAYS going to be conflict. Nations don't get along and as for war, its a natural occurence in our world. You can't take human instincts away from humans! When you don't like something you create conflict, and with world leaders it sometimes results in war. When your values are bashed by someone else, you stand up for them, don't you? That's just what Pres. Bush tried to do, albeit in the wrong way. And he had the threat of his country being destroyed and all the people residing within it!

The U.S was threatened during 9/11 and honeslty you can't blame the Pres. personally for it. You can't really blame anyone but people's ancestors. We may NOW live in a world that fights against racism and stereotyping, but when your parents were taught to think one way, and you were taught to think one way and you teach your children how to think that one way, its going to stick. The incidents of 9/11 happened because some parent was raised to dislike a certain type of person and they taught their child to think that way, and the child decided to take drastic action.

It could have been prevented through generations of tolerance, but unfortunately it wasn't. And if you were the Pres. and you had advisors and members of the Senate and Congress telling you that you have to go to war, then you obviously take that into consideration, you may not choose that course of action, but He did.

The situtation in the Middle East is called the War on Terror. The Pres. ordered troops to invade because the U.S had heard rumours that they were harboring a super weapon or something. To prevent his people from being killed he invaded.

War is an inevitability and it would be great if it didn't exist, but it does and people just have to accept that and do their best to try and change it if they believe they know how.

(I realize I just defended a man I hate and I want to say I'm not a Bush supporter but that's just the way I look at things.)

P.S... Sorry about the long rant. It went totally off topic... I apologize.

scarlet - July 16, 2008 06:04 PM (GMT)
i think you are all wrong
world peace is not impossible ...we make it so by saying that
if we taught our kids to love peace...maybe their era would be better..maybe
Teiana is right..it's all teaching generations what's right and wrong...so i think we can accomplish peace by taking the right way and hopefully our kids will follow
as for the kids issue....you don't expect people all around the world to think the same, men(not sure about the women though) in meddle east like kids so they have a lot, and for them it's OK...without mentioning that abortion and stuff like that are not allowed there so...you get the point right??

lolita - July 16, 2008 07:41 PM (GMT)
...

Well, I think YOU are wrong.
People will always disagree. There are always going to be bullies. And there will always be victims and violence. It's not like one day, we'll all put our fist down on war and weapons to hug and love eachother.

..Smockers are chockers.

It pretty much is impossible. It would be beautiful if people would learn to put their differences aside, but that's never gonna happen. People will always disagree and some people will start fights over little things.

I wish things could be that simple, but they aren't. They probably never will be. Things seem to be getting worse and worse as time goes by. There's not much we can really do about it. We have to learn to live with it and do what's right for ourselves.

IHATEKIKYOU12 - July 16, 2008 09:23 PM (GMT)
I want world peace. I also want Hillary Clinton to be president, but neither of those things look like they're going to happen any time soon.

Takimaru of Setsuna - July 17, 2008 03:12 AM (GMT)
lol That type of thinking IS What starts the war!

Demon_Eyes - July 17, 2008 03:25 AM (GMT)
I think world peace is about overated as fishsticks.

In D-speak, that means something, I tell you. It means something.

Haiyato Berzerker - July 17, 2008 05:26 AM (GMT)
Honestly there will never be world peace, there will be countries and societies more or less safe from war, but there will never be world peace

scarlet - July 17, 2008 06:15 AM (GMT)
you misunderstood me...i know people will always disagree..and that they will always fight ,but it doesn't have to be in a violent way
you see our problem is that we look to others down and some even believe that an Iraqi's life is nothing compared to an Americans life...and that concept is what causes war to be so ugly , it's not about disagreeing..it's about the way we disagree in...maybe if we learn to value others maybe we will be a step closer to the world peace, just think about it.

That's horrible. I'm so sorry about that. You are very right. If people could learn to talk about their problems instead of blowing each other up, the world would be a better place. But sadly, a lot of people prefer to kill each other over nothing rather than talk it out like a mature, humane person.

princess_jojo_owns_fluffyinu - July 17, 2008 04:28 PM (GMT)
Again.
There will most likely never be a time when everyone 'talks' about their differences, there will always be more people willing to fight for peace.
And yes, that sounds stupid "Fighting for peace". But it's true.
Freedoms never free, people tend to forget that too.
Yes, it be nice if there was no war.
But that wont happen.
Humans have anger and hate in them, everyone does.
Unless thats completely wiped out, then way will live on.

scarlet - July 18, 2008 02:33 PM (GMT)

well....i have to admit you are right
there....will....nev..e..er......be.....world......peace
so i said it i hope you are happy now
