So what are your guys' views on internet dating sites? Like, eHarmony and things like that?

I just read an article about internet dating on MSN, and I was really shocked as to realized exactly HOW many people use this form of dating. I'd prefer to go to the old fashioned way personally.

I think those dating sites are cool and all, but not for me. I don't have to spend money looking for love in who knows where to find love. I prefer the old fashioned way too.

As far as internet dating goes, I can't do it. I've tried it twice and it failed horribly. I need someone who's gonna be here physically for me. At least that's how I feel now.

But I think if someone is really considering that thing, maybe they should go for it. Maybe it can work out.

Love finds a way, doesn't matter where. But if its true love, it should matter if its on the internet or the bathroom, its love.

Internet dating can be superb, but only if you're able to cope with frustration well. The chances of getting cheated on are far greater, you cannot have any sort of physical contact with your significant other, and interaction is limited to talking, cybering and roleplaying only. It's not like you can hang out at the park or any other real place.

That being said, you're a lot more likely to find real love online than offline, because unless either party is faking it, their true selves are always more evident online than offline. When you're simply talking on MSN or some other medium, the personality of the other person really shows, as there is no sort of non-verbal language involved in the communication.
