What I hate the most, is when people argue with me about race.
I HATE racism, sure I respect other peoples opinions, but seriousely..
I hate when my friend argues with me about inter-racial marriage/dating being wrong and discusting.[Like today.] I just don't understand why she can't let me believe what I want, I don't care about different races being together! I really just don't care, I don't even see them differently. I believe a person is a person, not a color; and thats how I see everyone.

I don't even think much about it all.
I believe that people should just be able to live their lives how they want..

But eariler she was argueing with me about how the media likes to 'force' that inter-racial marriage is okay, when she believes its wrong. I told her that I respect her opinion but that I don't believe that way. But she believes that shes right and that I only think this way because I am being influenced by society! Paleaseee, I believe what I want and I made my opinions by myself, no one influenced me!

I just don't understand why she can't respect my opinion.
I respect hers, even though I don't agree with it.
Gawd. People can be sooo annoying..

I think you just said it right that. That annoys me to know end. I don't understand how people can be so ignorant. We're all humans here. So what if we mix different races? I think that's so beautiful. I think it's so interesting. I myself think that she is completely wrong and illogical and ignorant.

But your right. I have to respect her opinion and others opnions. But that's hard to do when they try shoving theirs, one that I strongly disagree with, down my throat. If I'm being you friend despite the fact that believe what you believe, then you should respect me enough to let me do the same.

I'm straight, but it annoys me to no end the way society treats gay people. I mean seriously. People get offended, "Oh, it's against my religion." Well, guess what? By telling them they shouldn't be openly gay you are forcing your religion down their throats.

That's against, like, the FIRST ammendment?

Sheesh. They need to get over it.

Yeah, that's my second pet peeve. People who try to force their religion on others. Once again, first ammendment.

What makes me understand her better is knowing that that was how she was raised, and she kinda can't help it..
But I was raised not being told anything, my parents never really said anything negitive or positive about other races, they never told me how to think.
Everything I believe is made by me.

I believe that some things people are just born with, some peoples beliefs are just made by their character and how they are. I'm the type that just really CAN'T think anything bad about someone.

I don't think anything bad about another 'race', if I don't like what someone does..
I 'dislike' THEM, I don't blame their ENTIRE race on what they do. Even if 'most' of a race acts in a way I don't like, I dislike THEM, not all.

I just wish people could relise that not EVERYONE thinks the same, that not everyone in a race is the same.
I also hate how my friend believes that blacks do more wrong than whites..
Whites do horrible things too!
Thats what people need to relise.

We can be bad too.

My parents (my dad, mainly) is the same as your friend. I tell them that I love Asians (mainly the Japanese...) and that I want to live in Japan. Almost instantly, my dad tells me it's/they are disgusting and tells me all these bad things about them and that I should just stick with my own kind -- white Americans.

Bleh. In my own mind, I can't picture myself with an American boy. It just doesn't work nor does it function. I also find Japan much calmer than the US and would much rather live my days there rather than gun-infulenced PA.

With every race, I don't see anything bad about them. I may not like every race, but that doesn't make me racist. And on the gay-rights thing, I am totally cool with gay people. I could careless if they were gay or straight... until they start to hit on me. x.x;

Now with me, I tend to like just people in my race pretty much, but I still believe that if someone else wants to be with a person of a different race, then so be it!
It's not really my right to judge.
Some people[Like my friend] just care to much..and look to much into it.

Sure, theres cutural differences; but were still all the same.
I don't care if someone doesn't agree with mixing races, but it REALLY pisses me off when someone argues about it with me, and then tells me that they do respect my opinion, but that I'm wrong and their right >>

I hate racisim too, it is fully still alive here in the South, which is why I have move, I can't stand the thought I'm being restricted from something because of my race.

I couldn't respect your friends' opinion, quite frankly, she's what's wrong with 'society today'. But I'd look at her parents first, such garbage is instilled in people, they aren't born racist. As long as I talk to people like you and my real life friend, I KNOW not all whites are racists and I will continue to be fair and not fall into "OH! ALL CRACKERS ARE RACIST" .__. I've heard worse I can't stand rascism, once a girl told the class she didn't like Mexicans because of how they smelled.

I was like WTF! You're black! Can you imagine what they say about YOU! I'm black too and I hate the pure IGNORANCE that goes on in thsi country. They always say against terrorists "We as a whole will destory you!" or other BULLSHIT. I scoff because I know better.

My cousin herself hates white people. I don't understand why really though. I don't hold anything against anyone unless I meet them and see what they're like. But I'm not going to be racist because I know myself that I hate it when people are racist towards me. Therefore, I'm not going to act that way towards others. That would be hypocritcal.

Like I said before, I think interracial dating is beautiful. And yeah, I guess she can't help it if she's brought up that way by her parents. But she could at least learn to respect other's views.

I've faced racism before. Last time I went on a field trip at school and the class is nothing but blacks and Hispanics, mostly. Going to a prodaminately white neighborhood, we all drew stares. I've had non-Hispanic people assume that I don't understand English.

But I don't believe everyoen should be to blame for the mistakes of their people. I've had some of my stereotypes about the white race, but I've met some of the nicest caucasions and that's enough proof to me that they're not all the same.

I respect her opinion.
But I don't like it.
It really pisses me off, and not many things really can piss me off >>

She believes that other races just like to act like racism still exists to gain pity or something..she finds it hard to believe that people still look down on people because of color.

The truth is, that EVERY race has it's problems.
No ones really better than the other.
Some people just think that one race may be smarter/better/etc. because they believe their right. But do we REALLY even know what 'right' is..?

I'm white, as I've said before. I live in a mostly white area.

And there's like two black kids in my grade, a few asians, and a total of one hispanic person.

And one of these black kids I really can't stand, and yes, it does pertain to his race. At first I didn't like him because he was a total ass to my best friend. And then he accused me of being racist because I didn't like him. Also, he said that my family enslaved his, were obviously white trash southerners, and that I had no right to hold anything against him.

First of all, not one of my ancestors ever owned a slave, and they certainly were never from the South. Not only that, but they fought for the north in the civil war!

But that was probably about conserving the union.

Oh yeah, and apparently I only like white people because I don't have any black friends...

1) Two of my best friend's are Chinese... so that's none
2) I do have black friends, he just doesn't know them because they're from before I moved
3) The only other African person in our grade is so popular if I spoke to her she'd look at me like I had eleven friends.

God I hate this kid.


Now, don't get me wrong. I know racism occurs everywhere... but around here, it is very rare. And most of the 'occurances' I've heard of are similar to this situation.

This ass almost got my best friend suspended... BECAUSE HE WAS PUNCHING HER and she told him, "Stop, you bastard."

Somehow that got construed as a racist comment.

I hate it when be accuse me of lying about being bisexual. After I tell them, which isn't easy, and they say 'oh, how do you? Have you ever really liked a girl? Kissed a girl?" And sure, I've never kissed a girl, but that doesn't mean I'm not bi. It's quite annoying.

I told my guy-friend I was bi. Big mistake. The next day was all over school. Everybody was like "Eww, your bi!" And i was like :scaryangry: .
People were all asking me questions like "Are you really bi?" "Did you ever f*ck a girl?" but the dumbest question was "Why are you bi?" I was like "OMFG you f*cking baka!"

And the worst part was people were treating me like i had some kind of deseis(sp?)! Nobody would sit next to me or talk to me. However, the guys loved it, but they kept asking me personal sexual questions and it drove me mad! And I'm Christian. People are all like "Your gonna go to hell! Stop being bi!"

Even my BFF[EX BFF] actually brought a f*cking bible to school. Telling me about how bad it is to be bi and how i should stop. She actually said "Oh, you CHOSE to be bi!" NO THE HELL I DIDN'T! IT'S NOT A F*CKING CHOICE!!!!

I was sooo close to takeing that bible and shovong it up her a.ss. Now THAT is something i can go to hell for! B.itch!
