Title: "Prométhéé"
Description: The Triste Sire

The Ubbergeek - April 30, 2005 06:40 PM (GMT)
At the beginning, there was the earth, the sea and the sky
Verdant forests and rivers of honey
Golden fruits were growing on the trees
Grappes were discreetly hugging the columns of marble

Where nested birds of all species
In a never-ceasing ballet, it was a play
Directed by a perfect master
And in this painting the man was reared, it was told

That if Eden was the case of this established world
The human was meaned to be the ruby who had set it
Maybe in his first hour
When he wasn't afraid of things who die, happyness was

A sum of simple things of a life
In a state called harmony
The human was prospering, the world was beautifying
In this era of peace, the King was called Prometheus

The Ubbergeek - April 30, 2005 07:08 PM (GMT)
Prometheus was satisfied because there was nothing he needed
Protected by God and respected by his own folks, but
One night, in his dreams, Eblis visited him
And asked him: "Is God stronger than you?"

Offered to him a box holding all the missfortunes
And in his heart blown hate and envy
The next day was the first sad day on earth
Prometheus assassinated his own brother

Wow.I liked it.

The Ubbergeek - April 30, 2005 07:40 PM (GMT)
Taking from him his possessions, taking from him his wife
Reduced into slavery the tribes in the number of twelve
He levied an army strong and robust
To rule in a cruel and unjust manner

Believing himself immortal, he had killed
All of his sons who could have one day rebelled
He had built a tower, risen to the heavens
Armed of his bow, he left to wage war on God

Many men today are the descendants
Of Prometheus, and of his vision they have inherited
They name it a 'detail', without scruples they cut
For their peoples a real catlle's skin

Another example that history eyes
The exploitation of the blind by the one-eyed
And if the terrestrial life is a glass of Javel's water
Why to shoot arrows at the sky of Babel?

kaitlyn - April 30, 2005 07:41 PM (GMT)
That was very good.

The Ubbergeek - April 30, 2005 07:52 PM (GMT)
All those dramas, those infamous acts for Rackham's treasure
They had made fire to rain on Abraham's country
Gone with the wind of the desert
It's Cerberus in hells that Prometheus desserts

Costly is happyness because pious is the trail
To what good is to be King when you are rich and sad?
The souls evaporate far from earth
Time run, palaces crumble, become dust

Prometheus, yesterday, tommorrow, first human
Chief of a pack in kingdoms of dogs
May he pay the folly of his actions
In awaiting in the dolor his resurection

kaitlyn - April 30, 2005 08:49 PM (GMT)
Still loving it.

The early fall wind was blowing on the land, making the leaves of the whole wood rustle, touched by Eole, and a low, cool rain dranched the soil... As I stood there, silent, my dark robe were getting wet, as the rest of my egally dark body... But I wasn't caring... I wasn't caring anymore, as I stood there, before her tomb...

Oh, darling... Nobody could tell how much that I am missing you, as I read the name in japanese characters, my silent tears mixing with the rain drops... "Cassandra Mikaru Tsukianmo", or Cassie as I used to call you, wolf Taiyoukai princess... This name of yours, bringing up sweet memories, but also an huge, painfull sorrow...

I will never forget it... The gentle, innocent, selfless love that you had for me, that grew so quickly, and I gave back too, finally... Your disapointement with me as I betrayed you, but still that love also, that confidence... The excitement, the furor of victory as we fought for a budding dream of peace and an united life... And the horor and anguish as you died in my arms...

My body yeld and I fell on my kneels, sobbing in endless saddness, my heart broken and wounded.... I touch the flowery patch covering your tomb delicatly, as it was your hairs... The tombstone, that I carved myself, like your face... My fingers trace the scriptures... Your name, and in elvish scriptures, a saying that suited her well... "Her love was so deep as the snow on the Spine of the World's white."

The Ubbergeek2 - March 29, 2008 08:39 PM (GMT)
I stay like this a long, long time, as my heart cries out it's pain toward the sky and the gods watching.... Minutes? Hours? Oh, my beloved... Selune, the animals of the wood, the trees, may they be testimonies of my love wounded.... I punches the ground, creating an hole as I owls...

Later, the tears subdue and lighten, the heart wounded still calm down. I slowly stand up, straightening my clothes. Now what? What, my dear? What should I do? You have sure set my free as you died in my arms, but my being yearns for you still... I take a long, lasting look at your tomb, to never forget. Whispering in the chondathian language a prayer for the grim Kelemvor, so he may consider a peacefull fate for her soul.

-'One day, we will meet again...'

The reformed yugoloth - xenoloth caste - turns back slowly, and start to walk away... A cool breeze raises up... And he paused a moment. What was that? Was that his ears betraying him? He though a moment hearing something; something like.... A sweet, soft and melancolic... 'Farewell'...

-Cassie....

His heart twitched, but he he kept walking. Maybe from beyond the grave, she bid him farewell? Free to leave, free to wander now... And so he did.

The reformed daemon didn't come back since this night.
