I've never seen full metal alchemist, but I've seen pictures of Ed. And I'm guessing with his metal arm and leg, he's only got enhanced melee attacks right? The metal arm and leg don't give him any special abilities?

Inuyasha would definently win. In this case, Ed really doesn't even stand a chance against Inuyasha. Besides, after Inuyasha defeats Ed, Inuyasha would still give Ed a beating cause he's shorter than him.

Ed may have good attacks, but he's not fast enough. He needs good reaction and ways to dodge attacks in order to beat Inuyasha, not just strength.

Just saw my first episode of Full Metal Alchemist. Got to see Ed fight in it, and I'm not that impressed with him, especially after seeing his blade. Yeah, I'd have to agree, InuYasha would win. Ed has got a weapon meant for speed, and speed is what he doesn't have. Just brute strength. His opponent just had a regular katana and Ed was having trouble with him. How can he expect to beat someone who's armed with a fang shaped sword that's as big as he is? InuYasha's got Ed pwned.

InuYasha would defineatly win. He could probably do it without tetsaigua . . . because he's faster, stronger, and has more powers, and can stand mor pain than Ed. Don't get me wrong I love Ed Elric, but InuYasha would defineatly win.
