After thinking about it. I think Hiei would win. He is faster, more skilled with a sword, and he has his Black Dragon Wave

Just face the facts. All sesshoumaru has is his tensaiga which has no affect against Hiei. Hiei has his katana, his demonic strength and spiritual strength (that includes Dragon of the Darkness Flame, Black Dragon Wave, ect.)

You haven't seen episodes 44-45 of InuYasha have you? In those episodes, Sesshomaru has a sword made from the fangs of the demon that bit the Tessaiga in two, called the Toukijin. The Toukijin can send force waves out and allow Sesshomaru to dice somebody up with it without even touching them with it! It's now the Tessaiga's main opponent in terms of sword vs. sword. Meanwhile, the Tenseiga can still teleport Sesshomaru out of danger if he's hit with a fatal blast of energy, like it did in episode 35 when InuYasha unleashed the Kaze no Kizu on him.

I'd say this would be a pretty even battle, and hard to call. I think the only way Hiei could kill Sess would be for him to somehow get Sess's Tenseiga away from him so it couldn't teleport him.

I've seen those episodes and I know what the Tensaiga can do, but Hiei can also teleport using his speed. I've seen EVERY episode of YYH and Hiei is one of the strongest around, and he is much more skilled in fighting than Sesshoumaru.

lol, yeah but I eat, sleep and breathe Yu Yu Hakusho and Hiei is a much better fighter than Sesshoumaru in many ways, and I mean many.

I've did a little research, and unless Hiei uses that weird attack of his, the Black Dragon Wave, Hiei's gonna be hard pressed because unlike Sesshomaru's Toukijin, Hiei carries just a plane-jane katana that the Toukijin could probably break in half without a problem. Sesshomaru's blindingly fast too. Hiei can probably just only defeat Sess with the Black Dragon Wave too, not kill him, because if used that attack, Sess' Tenseiga would probably pulse and teleport him away to a safe place so that he could heal up.

One thing, you can't just 'teleport' away from a grreat attack like Black Dragon Wave. Hiei has more attacks than Black Dragon Wave, like Dragon of the Darkness Flame.(You probably never seen Hiei use that attack, if you did then you'll agree with me that Sesshoumaru can't dodge a great attack like that.) Hiei can also 'teleport' away from Sesshoumaru and his tensaiga. In conclusion, Sesshoumaru would have a hard time killing or defeating Hiei.

Oh and I forgot to mention, Hiei only uses his sword on weaklings, if it breaks then he uses his demonic powers.

Heh, I really think that Hiei would win. Despite the fact that I would want Sesshoumaru to win, Hiei would probably be the victor anyway. I mean, it's almost impossible to escape the dragon wave thing.

The only person I know who could dodge the Black Dragon Wave is Yusuke Urameshi :cutesw:

They're actually quite well matched in almost every category. It would be very even. Both have one hit kill attacks that would end the match. Hiei's dragon would probably win out against the new Tensaiga, but who knows the Meidou Zangetsuha might actually send the dragon itself to hell therefore ending the attack. That's just specullation cause we haven't seen much of the new Tensaiga so until I see it's strongest form I can't say.

well i say show to show tournaments r pointless cuz the shows werent made to compete with each other. GOKU CAN KICK BOTH THEIR ASSES HAHAHAHAHAA. yeah well thats my opinion

and i dont watch that yuyuhakusho or whatever show so i cant really say who i think will win but i think some of u guys r underestimating sesshomaru. ur making it sound like hes a slow fatty that has never fought in his life

I wouldn't mind a fight between the two as long there was no favortism involved. GAH! I hate favortism.

They both have a very good chance of winning.

Sesshomaru would win because he has a great speed, and is probably much older than Hiei, and has more fighting experiance than Hiei, but thats must my opinion.

Hiei would win because of his Black Dragon Wave. He also is very fast and has good sword skills.

It could be a tie, because. . well. . .Maybe one of them just gets sick of it, or annoyed, and makes peace. ((HAH! Year right.))

Hiei wins easily.

Sesshoumaru. He is older and probably knows more about fighting. He has his poison whip, Tokijin, poison claw, his dog form, his fluff. Plus he's fast and thinks in battle instead of just rushing forward.


Either that or they kill each other.

Sesshoumaru might as well be crawling compared to Hiei. YYH characters are so much faster than IY characters it's not even funny.

although i really like Sesshomaru, Hiei would win because he has more agility and power and in a tournament those are the most important things..

Personaly, I think that you guys are underestimating Sesshomaru. I mean, Hiei is very fast, but so is Sesshomaru. :behead:

Sesshoumaru is SLOW compared to Hiei. Even if Sesshourmaru was as fast as Hihei, he still won't be able to counter the Black Dragon.
