Another Poem...my only for a while.



Freedom

I touch the glass walls of my cage/
The cage made of society/
I am trapped in here with eternity/
The days continue to age./

My reflection is hurt and broken/
My wings refuse to stretch/
My tears remove the blood/
But the scars wont go away/

And everythings in a daze/
I'll never be saved/
My enemy, he locked the door/
And threw away the key./

I am a struggling surviver/
I fought and lost/
But I still remain strong/
At a largely high cost./

Other's vision comes back/
As mine slowly fades/
Rejected, abused and used/
The price of begging for freedom./

The only one who can set me free/
Is the one that laid me here/
This pain is everlasting/
Life is like a mirror./

Freedom is disolving/
Every chance I get/
The rest of my years will be wasted/
By simply resolving./

Freedom.../
Freedom/
Set me free./
Freedom.../
Freedom/
Let me be./

Broken promises feed/
To satisfy to their hearts desire/
Seeking only selfishly/
The key to personal salvation/

I lie here vulnerable/
I see you watch over me/
From time to time you visit/
Laughing as you see/

With fiery eyes, you bastard/
You waste the time away/
I am not here for amusement/
People do not pay to see me/

I do not think you care/
But even if you did/
All of this pain, your pleasure/
I would gladly share./

The darkness sheds its crimson/
On behalf of me/
I vow to avenge myself and it/
Very unselfishly/

So come a little closer/
Listen, dont you hear?/
The silence of my heart's missed beats.../
Freedom's worst fear/

Freedom.../
