"Ray!" I heard your voice. What suprised me the most was that it was full of concern and not hate.

Ringing in my ears I can still hear the gun's sound.

You dropped beside me on your knees, leaving the gun where you had dropped it just seconds ago.

I tried to speak but no words came out.

As I lay on my back, you brush away strands of my silk hair.

Did you really hate me so much, that you craved the feeling of taking my life?
