Has anyone heard of that show? It's really good, it just got licensed. It has everything, good drawings, colorful art, comedy, and best of all.... yaoi. Hopefully it'll be on TV soon. :chidoriV:

ehhh i frankly dont care. kyou kara maou sounds a whole lot funnier. to me, falling through time through a well isnt half as funny as traveling to a different universe by means of being flushed down a toilet.

and its just the main site shes dropping, not the forum. no one ever goes on the main site, so i really dont know why you guys are worrying.

patriot1776, ij is the site and forum administrator, so she should be able to do anything she wants. if she wants to make a yaoi site, she can, its her own site.

Why do girls like yoai anyway? To me it seems like a painful way to live(for a guy). I mean there are not any shows with yuri being mainstream so why yoai? I just don't get it. :chidorisd:

Most anime/manga fans are females, so they make more yaoi than Yuri series. But I've seen a yuri anime, it's called "Revolution Girl: Utena".

No offence Shirahime but as we say in Québec, you are in the field/potatoes. The majorite of anime and manga fans are still male, except in specific 'unmanly' genres like Shoujo and Yaoi. Ever been to a manga and anime shop recently? Many girls feel embarassed about that, and feminists, well... And Yuri is very present - like real-life porn, lesbian things are with het porn. Gay porn is set aside, or not present.

((For me I follow the traditional denomination; Yaoi and Yuri = gay and lesbian hentai. Love and relations is Shonen-ai and Shoujo-ai.))

And Utena was just a Shoujo serie (the theme of different sexualities in a non-sexual/romantic way is frequent in Shoujo).

No your wrong. There was a news special not to long ago on the radio about how popular anime/manga is in the USA. The magority of that population is FEMALE.

Yes Utena is a shoujo, but it has Shoujo-Ai.

It's not like mainstream media know much about such an 'underground' subject... beside, no offence, but USA =/= the rest of the world, and from what I know here in Canada (and other countries from friends's talks), it's still a boy thing.


It's not the main subject, as there is also a possible gay romance or two, and het too. brief, it's romances, in all senses, i guess.

i personally think yaoi is more frequent in anime and mangas because more girls like yaoi than guys like yuri. a lot of guys who read anime/manga are homophobic and freak out when they see guys/ girls making out (with their same gender), whilei personally think girls are more mature about stuff like this.

Well, I am a child of the eighties, so it aired in my youth quite, and I had a certain taste for it, back then. And years after, my kid brother went into a retro phase and we listened some Metallica again. I grew to like some genres of metal.

You people shouldn't argue on topic you have no clue what it is about. Kyou Kara Maou is not a yaoi series, it's not even a shounen ai series. Shounen ai series center around a love relationship between two guys. Kyou Kara Maou is not about a relationship between two guys, this show doesn't seem to have much of a storyline at all. It's a just comedy with gay jokes.

I agree with ColdHardCash. I've seen it myself in the Japanese & English format. It's not gay, just have a lot a gay jokes in it. So don't take it the wrong way.

Well i thought that kyou kara maou was one of my favourite Anime series, for sure. its great .

I got this anime for christmas and i love it, and like Wild Fire said, the guys are hott. even the one that looks like Momiji :daydream:
