[SIZE=7]Just so everyone knows this is my first fanfic and it MAY suck but plz respond to it I need all the help I can get.


[COLOR=red]Chapter 1: Demons...meet the Hobbits


[COLOR=blue] The Inu gang was walking through a forest they had never been to before. They had been searching for Naraku for almost two weeks and they still had no idea where he was.

"AHH!! I hate this!!" InuYasha yelled, angrily slashing trees with his claws. "WHERE THE HELL CAN HE BE???"

"Calm down, InuYasha," Miroku said with a sigh." We'll find him..we always do."

Sango nodded, stroking Kirara's head as she carried her along. "Miroku's right, we just need to be patient."

Kagome yawned and stretched, saying as she did so, "Maybe we should rest for a bit we've been walking nearly four hours now."

They all agreed to this, but InuYasha refused to sit. Instead he announced that he would go on ahead and be back in a bit.

Damn, InuYasha thought to himself,we're never going to find him at this slow rate!!

Suddenly InuYasha could smell blood. He stopped running and stood still for a minute, sniffng the air. Human blood mixed with some strange scent, like a type of demon he had never bofore encountered. He ran to a clearing and gazed down a large hill on which he stood at the top. He could see figures running...some short children, a stubby kind of.....demon? as well as 4 tall figures. Behind them lay a pile of dead non-human bodies. InuYasha decided to go back and get the others, but to his surprise they came up behind him.

"InuYasha, we were talking and we thought it would be best if we...."Miroku stopped speaking when he saw the figures running around the base of the hill.

"Who are they?" asked Shippo with curious eyes, poking his head out from Kagome's backpack.

InuYasha shook his head. "I don't know, but I think they just had a major fight there with those dead....things" he said, pointing at the corpses.

Kagome frowned looking concerned. "It seems that there are children with that group...perhaps we should offer them some medical aid in case they are hurt?"

InuYasha sighed and rolled his eyes, clearly not wanting to waste his time.

Miroku eyed the group, his eyes falling on a particularly tall figurw with long flowing hair. "We really should you know," he called over his shoulder as he started down the hill,"..in case they're women companions are injured."

The others followed him, InuYasha coming last muttering to himself the whole way.

"Hello there!" called Sango, as they reached the bottom of the hill. The running group which they saw consisted of 9, stopped. The children were pushed behind a tall Man wielding a large shield and sword, a white horn at his hip. Another Man came forward, his hand resting on a sword partly concealed beneath his dark brown leather tunic.

"Friend or foe? Are you with Saruman or the Free Peoples?" he called in a loud voice.

"Be mindful of that group Aragorn," an older man muttered to the man," that one with the silver hair seems to be a bit of."

"WHO YOU CALLING OFF??"InuYasha snarled, obviously taking offence to the Man's words. He pushed himself to the front of the group and glared at the other.

"InuYasha!!" Kagome cried. There he goes again, ruining our chances to meet and help others, she thought to herself. Walking quickly up to InuYasha, she smiled sweetly at the strangers. "I'm sorry abut him he has a problem with manners." InuYasha spluttered furiously behind her but she ignored him. "My name is Kagome and these are my friends Sango, Miroku, Shippo and InuYasha". At the mention of thier names, each person save InuYasha smiled or waved. Kirara mewed loudly, wanting to be noticed.

Sango laughed. "This is my life-long companion, Kirara," she explained with a smile.

LOTR Group:............

"Well umm, I am Aragorn, son of Arathorn", said the Man who had first greeted them. He pointed to a stubby but tough looking man:"This is Gimli, son of Gloin. and Boromir of Gondor,"Aragorn now indicated the Man with the shield.

"I am Gandalf the Grey," the older Man who had warned Aragron of InuYasha stated.

"And what is YOUR name, fair maiden?" Miroku asked coyly, sidling up close to the tall figure with the long white-blond hair.

"Legolas, son of the Eastern Forest," HE answered, staring at Miroku in disgust and confusion.

"Oh well that's a pretty name for a pretty lad-" Miroku stopped short, playing back what Legolas had just said. "SON of the...."

Legolas nodded, now looking annoyed. Behind Miroku, InuYasha, Sango, Kagome and Shippo burst into laughter as Miroku quietly stepped back among them, his face red.

Aragorn had a slight smile on his face, noting Legolas' discomfort. "Where do you travel to?" he asked them then.

"Just a mintue!!"InuYasha exclaimed. "Who exactly are those kids behind you??"

"What..." Aragorn asked faintly, lookiing lost. He turned and glanced behind him, seeing no 'kids'.

Gandalf cleared his throat and said to him, " I believe he means the Hobbits, Aragorn."

"The what bits??" the Inu gang asked, all confused.

"They are called Hobbits, little people..shire folk" Aragorn tried to explain.

"Ohhh you mean MIDGETS!" Kagome said proudly.

"Not quite.. but close enough." Aragorn waved the Hobbits forward to the front of the group. "This is Frodo, Sam, Merry, and Pippin," Each little man gave a wave as they names were said.

"Nice to meet you all..so what's with all the bodies over there? What are they?" InuYasha asked, pointing to the corpses behind them.

"Camp with us tonight and we'll explain everything to you," Aragorn promised them.

As they set off for a sheltered area for the night, Legolas waved his bow to Miroku and said, " Just make sure he keeps his distance."

hmmm no one replied so I don't know if that's good or bad....i'll take it as bad news I guessand in case anyone cares this is going to be the end of this LOTR and InuYasha fanfic cause I don't think anybody likes it much but I'll check for replies later tonight if none then GOODBYE

I find this story really quite interesting.

So, don't stop writing because some people do not have enough courtesy to post a reply.

Chapter 2: Introductions

It was night-time, and the Inu and LOTR gangs were all sitting together around a fire they had made in a sheltered overhanging of tress. InuYasha and Aragorn were taking it in turns to explain why they were where they were.

"Since Naraku has hurt all of us badly, we've sworn to destroy him,a dn we've been looking for him for nearly two weeks now with no luck," finished Miroku.

"AND put the Shikon no Tama together again," added InuYasha.

"So you can become a full demon?"asked Sam.

"Yep" InuYasha nodded.

"Well we're on a journey to Mt. Doom, in the land of Mordor to destroy the One Ring," explained Gimli.

"And your big enemy is Sauron, the Master of the Ring, and his little crony Saruman," Kagome said proudly.

Aragorn nodded. "Sauron will perish along with the Ring, as will his armies and legions of Orcs and other monsters.

They all sat in silence for a minute. The Hobbits were all sitting together, Shippo near them, obviously entranced with their child-like appearance. Boromir and Legolas stood on the outside of the group, keeping a watch out for Orcs and demons, and in Legolas' case, Miroku, who sat with Sango and Kirara. Kagome and InuYasha were sitting closer to the fire, Gandalf and Gimli around them.

"Can we see what shards of the jewel you have so far?" asked Gandalf.

"Uhh yeah sure!" Kagome pulled the little bottle out with the 3 shards inside. She handed them over to Gandalf, who took them and eyed them with interest.

"What about this Ring of yours? Let's have a look at it," InuYasha demanded.

Frodo glanced at Aragorn, who nodded his assent, then stood and crossed over to InuYasha. He pulled out a chain necklace upon which the Ring hung.

"That's it?" asked InuYasha incredulously.

Kagome took the shards back from Gandalf and leaned closer to the Ring.
"It's so plain...."she said, gazing at it" but also kind of pretty."

Frodo quickly put the Ring away."Yes well....keep in mind that it IS rather evil..unlike your jewel it cannot be used for good, no matter the intentions."

Sango frowned when she heard this. "Miroku, have you ever heard about any of these rings of power?" she asked the monk beside her.

He shook his head." No never...but there is a lot we don't know about these far regions."

Sango tried to calm herself down as she felt Miroku's hand resting in its old place on her. She sweetly turned to him and with a smile said," Now now Miroku none of that...your "friend" Legolas might take offence."

At these words Miroku's evil grin was gone in an instant. Even at hs distance, Legolas turned and glared at the two of them, his Elven ears hearing them.

Sango snickered evilly to herself as Miroku's face went red. "Hahaha that's what you get," she told him.

InuYasha sighed. He was getting bored with sitting around waiting for the others to rest. He was also uncomfortable....he had a strange feeling in him..like he wanted something but he didn't know what. He kept looking over at Frodo who was again sitting with Sam, Merry, and Pippin.

Kagome, Gimli and Gandalf all noticed InuYasha's furtive glances at Frodo, and just as Kagome was about to comment to him about it, he sat up straight and tense, eyes wide; at the same time Legolas was staring into the darkness around them.

"There's something dark here...."he muttered to himself, readying his hand on his bow and arrow quiver.

InuYasha also stood, coming near to stand next to Legolas. He sniffed the air lightly picking up the scent.

Aragorn was up in an instant standing with the two of them."What? What is it? What do you see?"

"It's those Orc things..." InuYasha said faintly, staring intently into the dark forest beyond the fire.

Chapter 2: Introductions (cont'd)
"How many of them?" Aragorn asked urgently. Legolas squinted into the dark.

"About threescore"(note: a score is 20 so 3 score is 60)" and they're coming our way." Legolas answered.

Aragorn ran back to the group. "Boromir! Gimli!"he yelled."Get the Hobbits together!"

Miroku, Sango, and Kagome quickly stood. Shippo stayed with the Hobbits, who were being protected by Boromir and Gimli.

"InuYasha!" called Miroku." Do you think you can stop these things?"

"Don't be stupid, Miroku!"snapped InuYasha. "Of course I can!"

Aragorn,Legolas, and Gandalf drew their swords, Legolas nocking an arow. InuYasha came up behind them, pulling out his Tetsusaiga as he said," Don't sweat it guys, I'll make short work of these guys!!"

Through the darkness they could se the Orcs come charging at them, their weapons drawn and roaring battle cries.

"Do not play a hero son," warned Gandalf."These Orcs do not fall easily under a normal sword." He sopped as they all saw Tetsusaiga transformed into its enormous size.

"Hmph...it's a good thing I don't have a 'normal' sword then," InuYasha replied.
He faced the oncoming Orcs, and felt his sword gather up the Wind Scar. With loud blood-curdling roars the Orcs came and were nearly upon them when-

"WIND SCAR!!" InuYasha roared, swinging the Tetsusaiga. With shrieks of pain the Orcs were hit and slaughtered within seconds by the powerful force of InuYasha's Wind Scar. The dust cleared, the air filled with the smell of blood. The Orcs were all killed, laying in death poses all around them.

Aragorn was the first to speak." That, Master Demon...was incredible."
The Hobbits all stared in silent surprise, and Boromir and Gimli sheathed ther weapons.

"Well that was...interesting," reamarked Gandalf, eyeing InuYasha and his now-sheathed Tetsusaiga.

"Yeah well it was simple especially when you're as powerful as me," InuYasha said sounding pleased.


time for class next chapter Sesshoumaru comes in!!

Chapter 3: Complications

The next morning, InuYasha woke early; not even dawn. He glanced around the campsite, everyone was still asleep. Kagome had Shippo sleeing on her chest, Sango was with Kirara and Miroku dangerously close to her. InuYasha sighed and took a deep breath. He froze; that scent.....

InuYasha was up in an instant; he leaped into a nearby tree and peered out into the fields surrounding their campsite. He coudn't see him yet but he knew he was there. InuYasha heard a stiring sound below him, he glanced down and saw Legolas come walking from the woods, heading towards a waking Aragorn. They began talking in low voices. InuYasha jumped from the tree and landed beside them.

Aragorn jumoed as InuYasha suddenly appeared beside him. "Watch what you-" he began to say, but InuYasha cut him off.

"Get the others up. We're leaving now." InuYasha turned and hurried over to Kagome Miroku and Sango, calling their named as he went.

Aragorn and Legolas stared after him, confused about his behaviour.

"We should do as he says," Legolas said to Aragorn. "He knows about approaching danger even before I do." Aragorn nodded and went to the Hobbits while Legolas roused Gimli, Gandalf, and Boromir.

Kagome groaned as she streched."Why do we have to leave so early, InuYasha?" she asked. Beside her, Miroku and Sango were also waking up.

"We have to leave," InuYasha answered shortly. He gathered up their sleeping things and put them in Kagome's backpack.

"InuYasha, what's happened?" Miroku asked, helping Sango to stand. InuYasha sighed and turned to face them.

"Sesshoumaru is coming," he said, sounding annoyed.

Kagome, Miroku, and Sango all stared at him in silence, thinking the same thing: InuYasha never ran from his brother; he normally could not wait to kick his ass.
InuYasha glared at them:" i know what you're thinking, and I'm not scared of him. His scent is different than usual though; more bloody and hateful."

InuYasha abruptly stopped and walked to the rest of the group. "Are you ready?" he asked Aragorn who was helping Sam pack their things.

Aragorn nodded. "InuYasha, why must we leave so soon?" he asked. InuYasha suddenly stared hard at Aragorn, who watched him uneasily, wondering what he had said to anger him so.

"Did you meet another like me before we met up?" InuYasha demanded suddenly.

"Another like...you?" repeated Aragorn. InuYasha waited, still giving him that same hard look. "Well.....yes."

InuYasha pressed on. "What did he look like?" Aragorn frowned, trying to remember the starnge figure that he and his group had met three days ago.

The Hobbits came over to them then." InuYasha sir"began Frodo," he had the apperance of a Man, but with strange markings on his face."

"And a ridiculously fluffy thing over his shoulders,"offered Pippin.
"He wore all white with a coloured around him as well,"added Merry.
"And he smelled of syrup and berries," Sam said helpfully.

InuYasha ignored that last comment."What did you say to him?" he asked, sounding anxious. Aragorn was abput to say when Miroku interrupted him.

"InuYasha, why are you acting ike this? What do you think Sesshoumaru wants?" he asked, a bit concerned.

InuYahsa glared at him but said," Because whatever they said to him, it made him mad, Whatever they did, it made him mad enough to want to kill them..all of them." To Aragorn:" What did you do to him?"

"Well nothing to HIm personally..."Aragorn said reluctantly.

"It was more to that green thing with him." Boromir added.
"And that evil little girl with them," Gandalf put in.

Kagome gasped."Not Rin?" she asked in a horrified voice.

"You killed them? BOTH??" InuYasha yelled at them. He knew how strong Sesshoumaru was, but his power was intensified when he was hateful..like he was now.

"You guys.....you guys are dead," Miroku told them, shaking his head.

Chapter 4: Enter Sesshoumaru, the Vengeful One


"Ok, let me get this straight," Inuyasha said, quite confused," you met up with Sesshoumaru three days ago, right?" Aragorn and the others all nodded. "And you decided that he was evil -which he is- and tried to kill him?" Another nod."AND when you couldn't kill him, you instead killed Jaken and Rin."

"We do not know their names, but yes the little girl and that green....thing with her," Gandalf answered.

Inuyasha nodded, taking it all in.Kagome frowned;this was taking him a while. "Why would you kill the girl Rin?" she asked finally.

Aragorn blinked dumbly, as though that were a stupid question. "Well she was obviously under some kind of spell of that Sesshoumaru figure," he said.

"Ah,"Kagome nodded, still rather lost.

"Well you're just lucky that Sesshoumaru has the Tensaiga and can brng them back, otherwise...."Miroku trailed off.

"Which is really quite amazing, and i MUST talk to him about that,"Gandalf began to say, but stopped when Sango kindly reminded him that Sesshoumaru would not take the time to talk; he would just kill.

Legolas had been watching for any signs of this Sesshoumaru person; he was scanning the horizon, when he suddenly heard a kind of whoosh noise from above him. Glancing up, he saw the strangest thing; a man fyling wrapped in a fluffy white...thing. Guessing this was Sesshoumaru, he turned and quickly ran to the group.

Inuyasha saw Legolas come tearing to them, and he caught that scent of hate and blood. Inuyasha pushed himself to the front of the group, keeping the others behind him. Sesshoumaru landed about 20 feet away. Legolas nocked an arrow, and Aragorn andBoromir unsheathed their swords, while Gimli readied his axe.

Sesshoumaru saw his insolent little brother standing wth those fools who had slaughtered Rin. Oh yeah and Jaken. After he scared them off, Sesshomaru had healed both Jaken and Rin, then left them in a high cave to rest while he went to take his revenge.
"Inuyasha, do not even think about interfering with my prey," he called to his younger brother.

"Shut the hell up, Sesshoumaru," Inuyasha snarled. "You aint gonna kill them and you know it!"

"On the contrary, half breed; I will kill them and whoever stands in my way." At these words, Sesshoumaru vaulted himself high in the air towards the group. Inuyasha roared and drew Tetsusaiga, meeting him in mid-air. The brothers clashed together with curses and death threats. Sesshoumaru tried to fly past Inuyasha, but he wasn;t having any of that. Raising his Tetsusaiga, Inuyasha struck Sesshoumaru's back with it. They both landed, giving each other hard glares as they leapt back toward one another.

Aragorn was uncomfortable just watching th ensuing battle. "Perhaps we should help Inuyasha with his fight,"he muttered to Boromir beside him. Boromir nodded, lifitng his sword.

Kagome stopped them." I wouldn't if I were you,"she warned them."Not only will your swords be no good, you'll make Inuyasha really mad."

Sango agreed," Inuyasha doesn't like to fight with support, he'd rather just do it himself no matter what."

The battle continued on. Inuyasha was bleeding from deep claw marks on his face, and scorched from bolts from Tokijin.Sesshoumaru had simply been cut along his arm from a lucky swing of the Tetsusaiga. The brothers were both seeing red and wanting to hurt one another as much as possible.

"Back off Sesshoumaru!!"Inuyasha yelled, sending a Wind Scar his way. Sesshoumaru grunted as his blade took the impact of it.

"If you honestly expect to be able to stop me, then you overestimate yourself, Inuyasha,"Sesshoumaru answered. Another blast of energy from his sword; it hit Inuyasha and his sword and he went flying.

Legolas had an uneasy feeling, and it wasn't just the fight. He turned from it and looked at the fields around them.Nothing...nothing.....wait. Dark shapes coming at them; nine riders on horseback, "Aragorn!" he yelled, raising his bow and aiming.
"Wraiths!"


wow kind of long oh well

they're actually called Nazgul. And one of them is the Witch King of Angmar

Chapter 5: Deciding Times short update as I am tired and have the hiccups

Inuyasha turned at the yell. He saw the nine dark riders on creepy looking horses coming tearing towards them. He frowned; they had a strange scent...not qutie human or demon.

"What the hell are these things?" he snarled at Aragorn, who had come to stand next to Inuyasha and Legolas, a tense expression on his face. Aragorn shook his head, bracing himself for them.

"No time to explain, we'll talk later" Aragorn answered. Boromir and Gimli came up to join them. Sango, Miroku, Kagome, and Kirara circled themselves around the Hobbits and Shippou.

Sesshoumaru watched in silence. Obivously he was thinking if he should join the fight or not.

"Don't just stand there like a jackass; either help us or back the hell off!" Inuyasha growled at him.

Chapter 5: Deciding Times (con't)

Sesshoumaru glared at Inuyasha, rather enraged that a half breed would talk to HIM that way.

"Inuyasha,"Aragorn said hesitantly," not to interrupt, but you all need to know one thing."

"What's that?"asked Miroku.

"The Nine Riders are after the Ring, which, as you know, Frodo carries."

"Ok, so basically keep them away from Frodo?" Sango asked, lifiting her Hiraikotsu.

Gandalf nodded."But be warned: they are not ordinary beings." Inuyasha lifted the Tetsusaiga and nodded. "Got it."

The riders drew nearer, as they did, Sesshoumaru stepped up next to Inuyasha. "I will help you in return for their payment of killing Rin."

Good update. A bit short but good.
It's hard writing stories, I should know, I've just finished my book and it's hopfully going to be published. It took me 6 months to write!!

Chapter 5: Deciding Times (cont'd and DONE)


"What do you expect them to pay you if you help?"Inuyasha gritted. The Nazgul were almost upon them now.

"Never mind that...ATTACK!!"roared Aragorn, whipping his sword high as the first Rider flew into them. Sango and Kirara stood together as two more Riders came at them. Miroku and Legolas were beside each other, Legolas keeping his distance from Miroku. Three of the Riders came toward the two of them leaping off of their horses as they did so. Legolas fired off an arrow; it pierced the closest Rider in its left side. It shrieked horribly and fell back.
Kagome was with Gimli, standing guard in front of the Hobbits and Shippou. She fired off a sacred arrow at the Rider that tried running at them in a fast gallop on its horse. The arrow whistled harmlessly over its head, but provided the distraction she hoped for.With a yell Gimli came leaping up and swinging his axe; it hit the horse, chopping off its two front legs. The horse whinnied in pain and fell heavily. The now horseless Nazgul turned on Kagome and Gimli, drawing a long blade as it did so.

Inuyasha grunted as the 8th Nazgul slammed its horses' hooves in his chest. They thudded painfully and he was pushed back. Sesshoumaru was beating back the last Rider; its horse lay slain on the ground, dark blood pouring from the many cuts on its body.

"Poison Claw!"hissed Sesshoumaru, delivering the final blow to the Nazgul he faced. It growled in pain, its sword laying uselessly broken in half underneath its feet. With a last scream, it turned and glided quickly away. Sesshoumaru watched it go, then turned to see the continuing battle.

Miroku smashed his staff against one of the wraiths' sides, then swung it up and beat its skull. It screamed, and Legolas took that moment to quickly fire another arrow into its chest cavity. It roared in rage then in a desparate attempt stabbed one last time at Miroku with its long thin blade.

"AAAHH!!!" Miroku screamed as the blade slid deep into his middle. The Rider ripped the blade back out then turned and fled.

Sango heard his scream; turning she saw Miroku falling as Legolas furiously fired arrows after the wraith. "Kirara!" she yelled."Go take Miroku to a safe place!" Kirara growled her understanding and sped over to the monk's side. A sudden sharp pain in her side snapped Sango back to attention. The two Riders converged around her; their iron claws had sank into her side. It was only a shallow cut but it hurt all the same. With a grunt she kicked out at the one with its claws in her side, simultaneously slamming her Hiraikotsu against its back. Too late she remembered the second Rider; it lifted its sword and sung it down-

Sesshoumaru was there; he knocked the wraith aside easily, disarming it at the same time. Without looking at Sango he said," Go help your friend, I'll finish these two off." But the two wraiths had evidently seen Sesshoumaru disable their comrade; rather than fight him they also turned back and mounted their horses and were gone.

Aragorn threw the wraith off of him, stabbing it through its right arm as he did. Seeing the others beginning to retreat, it got on its feet and followed them. Panting with exhaustion he sped to Boromir's side and helped him beat back the two riders around him. They screamed orders and flew off, leaving only two wraiths left; the one battling it out with Inuyasha, and the last menacing Kagome, Gandalf, Gimli, and the Hobbits.

"Wind Scar!" Inuyasha yelled, aiming for the wraith in front of him. As the Wind Scar went flying towards it, Inuyasha positive it would hit its mark, he glanced around and saw that Kagome needed help. He ran to her as the Wraith swung its sword again.

"Oh no you DON'T!" he cried, blocking the blade with Tetsusaiga. The wraith roared angrily, and Inuyasha squinted at the piercing shriek in his ear. He punched the Wraiths' head, then drove its own sword deep into itself. It gave a strangled cry and threw itself back, retreating also.

Kagome's heart was still pounding fast in her throat. She lowered her bow and took toll of the damage. The Wraiths were all gone with minimal damage caused. She felt the sinister presence behind her then and heard one of the Hobbits gasp. Kagome turned and her breath caught in her throat; there was one last Nazgul and it was behind Frodo, blade at the ready to slit him open.

Aragorn and Boromir were too far away to help, as was Gandalf and Gimli. Legolas had run out of arrows, and the others were all too tired to move very quickly. Kagome knew that Sesshoumaru did not care enough to save him. The Hobbits and Shippou backed away; Kagome's limbs felt like lead.

Frodo however, did not look panicked in the slightest; rather he had a dreamy expression on his face as though he were in a far off place. He was fingering something concealed in his breast pocket, and at once Kagome realized it must be the Ring.

Aragorn had told them about what happened when Frodo wore the Ring, and Kagome knew she could not allow him to put it on. There was a breeze that sped past her, lifting her skirt up slightly. It was Inuyasha. He was next to Frodo and the Wraith in an instant; but he was too late. Frodo slipped the Ring on and vanished from sight. Kagome heard Sango gasp, and knew the older girl was as surprised as she was. Inuyasha ignored that little fact and went straight for the wraith instead. With a roar he threw himself into it, knocking it back. Inuyasha soaked his claws in his own blood that dotted his arm and tried "Blades of Blood!"

The Wraith, knowing when it had lost, fled as the blood sliced through its robe. Inuyasha stood panting, then abruptly dropped to a crouch, searching for Frodo. He could sense him cowering just in front of him. Inuyasha looked where he knew Frodo was and said "Come on now take pff the Ring you're safe."Another second, then Frodo reappeared, holding the Ring in his hand.

Inuyasha nodded encouragingly at him, then stood and offered Frodo hia hand. Frodo accepted it; and in that small moment, Inuyasha coudl feel the Ring in his palm...it seemed to call out to him. Inuyasha stood silently and listened hard. After a moment he realized he was still holding Frodo's hand. Reluctantly he released him, eyeing the hand which held the Ring.

Kagome and Aragorn exchanged a look; Inuyasha was standing with his head down.

"It is not wise for us to linger here any longer than we need to Aragorn," Legolas told him soflty, coming up behind him. Aragorn nodded," He's right, we must moce out as soon as we can."

Gandalf, Gimli, Boromir, Legolas, the Hobbits and Shippou set about getting ready to continue on. Sango was talking in a low voice to Miroku, who was very pale and laying still on Kirara's back.

"Just hang on Miroku, we'll get you to the nearest village and get you all fixed up," Sango soothed. Miroku didn't seem to hear her; his breathing was raspy and shallow. "Inuyasha, I'm going to take Miroku to a village....he's fading fast."

Inuyasha did not answer. Kagome frowned at him slightly, then called back to Sango "All right we'll meet you."

"I will accompany you, as I know the quickest way to the village of Morthan, a renowned healing settlement," said Boromir, coming up behind Sango. She nodded wordlessly, and together they climbed aboard Kirara, who flew off in the directon Boromir indicated, Miroku laying between them.

Sesshoumaru watched them go, then turned his attentions to Inuyasha. "I have provided much-needed aid to you and your companions," he told him," Now I expect to be repaid."

Still Inuyasha was silent. Kagome sighed and said to Sesshoumaru," You will get what you want but you;re going to have to be patient. We have more important things to take care of now."

Sesshoumaru's eyes glittered dangerously at Kagome's word choice, but he only said "I will return, Inuyasha. Count on it. My revenge has not yet even begun to inflict itself on these idiot companions of yours." With that, he turned and went floating off.

Kagome rolled her eyes; that was Sesshoumaru, always acting like he was doing them a big favour when he was around. She saw Inuyasha STILL unmoving, so rather than push him to talk, she turned to talk with Aragorn.

Inuyasha dimly heard what was being said to him, but he did not register it. All he was thiking of was the feel of the Ring on him. He had the strangest desire to hold the Ring, and take it from Frodo; it needed him, not that weak Hobbit. Inuyasha turned slowly and stared hard at Frodo. The Ring had alos caused another reaction in him; the same kind of feelings and urges he had when he transformed into his full demon self. Thsi time though, experiencing them with the Ring, he did not fight them because they felt natural.

"Hmpf." he said to himself. He wasn't quite sure what he would do about all these new and interseting developmenst, but he was clear on one thing: he wanted the Ring, and it desired him as well.

As Inuyasha glared at Frodo he made a vow to himself: he would get the Ring, one way or another.....

And the book I wrote is called The Darker Light.
It's about three sisters Kira, Kima, and Kila.
Kira's the eldest, is a Trans demon (she can change into anything alive), and she's the embodiment of darkness.
Kima's the middle child, is a half Trans demon (its the same as Kira's except on full moons she's human) , and is the key to keeping Kira and Kila from killing eachother. She basically keeps everything in balance.
Kila's the youngest, is a human, and is the embodiment of light.
Thats all I'm gonna tell you. You'll just have to read the book when it comes out. (^_^)

k SHORT update it is 3:44 am but I am bored-----NOTE: I am no longer naming my chapters as that is too hard for me!

Chapter 6

Inuyasha, Kagome, Shippou and the rest came to the village where Miroku had been taken to. They asked the village headman where they could find him, and he directed them to a long and low priest's home.
Only Inuyasha Kagome and Shippo entered; Aragorn and company felt a bit awkward about going in. Inside a subdued scene met their eyes; Miroku layed across a straw pallet Sango kneeling by his side and the now small Kirara sitting close.

"Sango?" asked Kagome, walking into the room and over to where she kneeled. "Uh... how is he?" Kagome sat beside Sango and looked down at Miroku. He was deathly pale and covered in perspiration, and was breathing loudly with difficulty.
Boromir looked up from the corner of the room he was sitting in. "I dressed his wounds as best I could, but I fear it is not enough."

Inuyasha came and stood over Miroku, his face unreadable. He saw Miroku's clothes laying off to the side, stained with his blood."Do you know if there is a healer or anything in this village?"he asked Sango then.

Sango shook her head."They have all been called away to help with the wars in the East," she replied, sounding disenheartened.Shippou came out from the cover of Inuyasha's hair and gazed down at Miroku. His eyes filled with tears as he hopped down to his side.

Outside, Aragorn was talking with Gandalf about the situation. "We cannot stay here and wait for them; the Wraiths are still out there." Gandalf told him anxiously.

Aragorn sighed and nodded."I know that Gandalf, but we cannot just leave them here either unless we know that the monk will survive. After all, it is our fault he was injured."

Legolas who had been keeping watch over the Hobbits came over to them then and told them,"I have a knowledge of Elven healing; perhaps it will prove to be of some aid."



ok it is now...4:00 am and I shall go to bed b4 I get in trouble. I'm helping my cousins move tomorrow so probably I will finish this on Monday. *yawns* goodnight all :nyu:
