Plot

In a lost age, the world is divided into four nations: Water Tribes, Earth Kingdom, Fire Nation, and Air Nomads. Within each nation, there is a remarkable order of men and women called the "benders" who can learn to harness their inborn talent and manipulate their native element. Bending is a powerful form combining martial art and elemental magic.

In each generation, only one bender is solely capable of controlling all four elements. That bender is the Avatar. The Avatar is the spirit of the world manifests in human form. When the Avatar dies, it reincarnates into the next nation in the cycle. Starting with the mastery of his or her native element, the Avatar learns to bend all four elements. Throughout the ages, the countless incarnations of the Avatar have served to keep the four nations in harmony.

Then, the firebenders attacked. Just as the world needed the Avatar the most, he mysteriously vanished. A hundred years later, the Fire Nation is near final victory in its ruthless war of world domination. The Air Nomads were destroyed, the Air Temples ravished, and all airbender monks eradicated. The Water Tribes were raided and driven to the brink of extinction. The Earth Kingdom remains and fights a hopeless war against the Fire Nation. Many believe the Avatar was never reborn into the Air Nomads and the cycle is broken.

In the desolated South Pole, a lone Water tribe struggles to survive. It is here that the village's last remaining waterbender Katara and her warrior brother Sokka rescue a strange 12-year-old boy named Aang who has been suspended in hibernation in an iceberg. The tribe soon discovers that Aang is not only an Airbender--the extinct race no one has seen in a century--but also the long lost Avatar. Now Katara and Sokka must safeguard the child Avatar in his journey to master all four elements and save the world from the Fire Nation.

Character Guide

Aang (The Avatar) - Aang is the last airbender, the world is depending on him to save their planet. Aang woke up from an one-hundred year sleep when Katara and Aang came and found him inside an iceberg. Aang is just a kid and he must do everything he can to save the world. Aang is the last airbender and he must do what he can to save his new home, Earth and the world around him.

Katara - Katara is the young waterbender who found Aang inside an iceberg. Katara is very brave and will usually come up with a quick plan. Katara still has much to learn before she becomes a powerful waterbender. This waterbender will be able to help Aang save all four nations and to live in peace and harmony.

Sokka - Sokka is Katara's older brother. Sokka likes to call himself, strong. He is from the Water Nation and has a very unique weapon, a boomerang. Sokka does not have waterbending abilities but he works for the Water Nation. Sokka is in a group with Katara and Aang to defeat the Fire Nation.

Momo - Momo is Aang's lemur friend. Momo cannot talk because he is a lemur but Aang can usually react to what he is saying. Momo is pretty much like any other lemur but Momo is very loyal and protecting. It seems that Aang knew a lemur like Momo, one-hundred years ago. This is so because lemurs were common pets of the Air Nomad children in the past. Momo was found by Aang in episode three, "The Southern Air Temple".

Appa - Appa is a huge bison who was left behind like Aang. Appa is Aang's flying bison who will only fly if you say the words, "Yip, yip!". Appa is very strong and powerful creature, it will destroy anything in it's path. Appa premiered in the first episode, "The Boy in the Iceberg (1)" as a major character.

Prince Zuko - Prince Zuko is has one mission and that's to capture Aang. Prince Zuko has one goal and that goal is to capture the Avatar. Zuko is determined to do anything, as long as he captures the Avatar. He is always trying to capture the avatar. One of the biggest reasons is for his father love. Zuko feels that if he captures the avatar his father will love him and if he doesn't then he is nothing to his father. He is also one of the strongest fighters in all of the Fire Nation. Zuko has came up to be a very big threat to all Nations.

Uncle Iroh - Uncle Iroh is Prince Zuko's uncle and companion of Zuko. Iroh is the father figure in Prince Zucko's life. Although he may always seem very serious he has a humorous personality that he occasionally un-folds. Iroh is a former commander of the Fire Nation and sticks with the attitude of his nephew.

This RPG is based on the TV series which is airing on Nick. Made-ups are aloud, and you can only have 6 characters max.

I'll be playing Aang (the Avatar), Uncle Iroh and Appa.

Aang, Katara and Sokka were all on Appa as he flew through the crystal blue sky. Aang continuously paced around, he seemed a little troublesome.

Sokka laid leisurely on Appa, his eyes half-cosed.

Katara looked over at Aang. "Is something the matter, Aang?"

Prince Zuko angerly paced the deck of his ship.
"I must find the Avatar..." He snarled underneath his breath.
Jade looked over at him.
"My dear Prince Zuko.." She purred out. "Don't be too upset."

Uncle Iroh was playing chinese checkers with one of their soldiers. "Please calm youself, you'll find the avatar eventually." he simply said.

ang looked over at Katara. "I can't master water, fire and earth bending by the summer." he said with a little hint of panic.

Jade looked over at Uncle Iroh and nodded.
"Your Uncle is right...You'll find him eventually."
She had been traveling with them for a couple of weeks now and gotten to the know the crew. She was very good at chinese checkers and all the other games that Uncle Iroh had taught her, but she still couldn't beat him.

Katara put a hand on Aang's shoulder.
"Don't worry...You can do it, I know you can."

((Since I need to really change ideas and that seems fun, I'll join this up. I admit not knowing much about this cartoon, but its seemingly quite fun. ^^ ))

He is somewhat of a legend, he is called the Mountain, but also the Demon-Giant, as he was (is?) reknowed to be an unstopable, horrifying bandit lord in the wastelands affar his homelands. What role does he play in the current war? What is his past?

The little monk sighed. "Yeah, your right Katara." he then walked over to Appa's head and sat down. "I think we should get something to eat at a nearby village" He gripped the rope around Appa and commanded him with a "Yip, yip."

Sokka sat up quickly.
"Eat?" He asked, his mouth watering. "Really? Food..." He collapsed again, happily ranting about salted pork.

Katara looked over at her brother and sighed.

Appa landed nearby a small village. Aang jumped off Appa, he was holding his wooden stick. "You stay here with Momo, Appa." said Aang, leaving them both hidden in the woods. "Let's go get something to eat." smiled Aang to Katara and Sokka, running towards the village.

*Somewhere into a barn... A large, huge man was sleeping on an improvided straw mat, yawning. This napping giant was lightly bearded wears faded and old but solid leaf green pants and shirt, an old olive green vest , a beige sash and a Y leather belt. This giant was tired, working around for hard menial works, and he was taking a well-earned nap.*

Katara laughed, and ran after Aang, a smile on her bright face.

Sokka ran after Katara and Aang, complaining.
"Why do we have to run?" He yelled.


Prince Zuko turned to Jade.
"Jade...I want you to go out on another search.."
Jade nodded.
"Yessir.." She vanished, seemingly into thin air.

"Aw don't worry Sokka, just think about the food while we run to the village." said Aang, running ahead of the two.

((Whootness, I added a clip of Avatar: The Last Airbender on the first post. It's for those who don't know the show.))

Katara laughed and looked back at Sokka.
"Yea Sokka!! Come on!"

Sokka ran as fast as his tired legs would carry him, soon catching up to Katara. He gasped out for breath.
"Why...Do...We...Al...ways...have...to...run...so...fast....?" He asked in between gasps.
Katara just laughed again.

Jade reappeared in an Earth kingdom village, it was likely she would find the avatar somewhere in the Earth kingdom. Her shifty green eyes glanced around, seraching for Aang.

*The giant of man awakened suddently... he had a familiar feeling... Stretching a bit, he attached his leather boots, and with a suprising lightness and discression for a man of his imposing size, he edged and looked outside, hidden from a window of the barn*

Jade was just outside the barn, her eyes searching the area. She was crouched down low, like a cat. Her kimono was wrapped tightly around her body and was dark red. Her armor was just as tight as her kimono and was a bright red then the other. Her long black hair was tied up into a bun, and only one stray strand fell over her face. Jade's hands were gloved, and oddly enough they were glowing slightly. The glow faded and she stood up completely.

Aang finally stopped in the village. He looked around for a perfect place to get some food. "Hey Sokka, what are you in the mood for?" he asked, looking back at the exhausted Sokka.

*The man had his eyes like that 'o.o', and tsaid discrete and quiet, imobile like a rock in the barn*

Jade looked around.
"Nothings here..." She said in a cold quiet voice.
She walked over to the front of the barn, her hand trailing across the wood. She pushed open the door with ease and looked around.

Sokka panted, glad they finally stopped.
"Any.....thing..." He gasped out.

Katara sighed, and pulled out her coin purse. She shifted it around for a moment and sighed again.
"We have just enough to get us through the day...Maybe we should all get jobs for the day."

*The giant man... Folded his knees and hid his face into his hands.*

Jade's emerald eyes scanned the barn as she stepped farther inside.
Her kimono made almost no sound as her slippered feet carried her through the barn.

*Don't move at all, as if tried to pass unottied, apparently...*

Alvas walked along, getting close to where Aang and his friends were.

((er... from what I heard of this show, the only one who can use ALL elements is the fabled Avatar bender...)

She looked over at the man, her brow furrowing.
"Who are you?" She demanded.

Aang looked around, he found a ramen stand. "let's have some ramen, I am so starving." exclaimed Aang as he ran towards the food.

Alvas sighed, his stomach growling loudly. He was walking passed Aang and his friends. "Man I'm so hungry." He said. "I haven't had anything to eat all day." He

No, don't hurt me, i'Ll repay this box of mochi, it's for the kids... Uh? *He blinked, opening his eyes, and scratched the backof his head and his short black hairs* Hehehe, sorry, I thought that you were Aunt Xia from the restaurant.... Ah, my name is Fudô, mylady... *his voice was deep, warm and gentle*

"Okay!" Sokka said, jumping up.
Katara walked over and ordered several bowls of raman, one for each of them.
The lady handed them their raman with a smile, then turned to help some other customers.
Sokka grabbed his and nearly finished it in one gulp.
"mmMmmmMMmmm..." He sighed with satisfaction.


Jade stared down at him, her cold green eyes scanning him quickly.
"I'm Jade." She said, a frown still on her face. Unlike him, her voice was cold, sharp, and cruel. "Why are you hiding in here?" She asked, not seeming to actually care why he was in here.
