I hoped that you knew that we all have pain in our heart…in our soul. It’s nothing we could change and nothing we could prevent. Yet you couldn’t see that until it you were enveloped. Everyone was oblivious to what was going on inside of you everyone except me that is. I know you thought of me as annoying. I know you would never return my feelings. But as a friend I tried to help you. You used to be such a bright person. The last time I remember you were sad all the time was when you hid yourself behind that delicate pink hair. Then all of a sudden you grew friends and your eyes that were like sea glass shone with happiness. Then you gave up one of your friends for a boy named Uchiha Sasuke.

You had such self control. You tried you best to prove yourself to him. You grew to love him and rejoiced when you were placed on the same team as him. He changed your life in more ways than one and for that you shall always be glad. But you never really looked at what I did. To you I was just the annoying who couldn’t do anything right. It was not until later how much stronger I was than I seemed and then you felt weak. I hated how you looked down on yourself.

So now a days when you look at back and see how much you could have changed. How you blamed yourself for having him leave…you forgot that I was available to hold you. I did my best to make you seem happy. To try to get you to let you know it was not your fault for what he chose to do. You will get over it Sakura, I know you will. And until then I will continue to be your friend and to look after you when you are lonely. So please Sakura…stop your tears…they cloud over the stars that you see all the good you have.

Someone who cares

Sakura found the note taped to her door. She stood there reading it slowly. She delicately took the note off the door and entered into her house. Lightly she removed the tape from the paper and then placed the paper in a frame. Going over to her phone she picked up it up and dialed a number. It rung a few times before it was answered.

“Hello?” A male voice called over.

“Hey…it’s me, Sakura. I have to thank you for the note…it meant a lot to me…Naruto.”
