I know this has been done before-but I'm doing a more believable version.

InuYasha was getting bored of sitting in front of the fire. He needed to stretch his legs. Jumping up,he started walking towards the forest. He had walked a couple feet in when Kagome caught up with him.

anddd.......

"It's a nice night,isn't it?" Kagome asked,but InuYasha didn't reply. Silence fell between them again.

"InuYasha-" Kagome began,but InuYasha cut her off.

"You know,I didn't ask for your company wench." He said abruptly.

"So-rry. Thought maby you'd like to actually not be a self-centered loner." Kagome replied angrily.

"You are such an annoying woman."

"SIT SIT SIT SIT SIT SIT SIT SIT SIT SIT SIT SIT SIT SIT!"

After she finished,Kagome listened for noise of InuYasha. No sound came up from the hole,so she looked down.

To her shock,instead of ground,she saw a small portal.

"Definitely strange." Kagome said to herself before deciding it would be best to leave a note before jumping down. She attached it to an arrow before jumping down and getting evelopped in the cool sensation of travelling between time and space.

When Kagome came out on the other side,she was in a dirty alleyway. The sound of music and the smell of fast food indicated that she was in the present.

<<Now where is InuYasha.>> Kagome muttered,then walked out of the alleyway. Bright lights,loud noises and random chatting hit her from all directions.

<<Ugh. I've been in the past too long.>> Kagome growled,rubbing her watering eyes. Once they were clear she saw a random language srawled everywhere. A closer look proved to be english.

<<English? hmm.Now let's see. It was only two months ago that I started english..I can't forget everything from school,can I?>> Kagome said to herself,then snapped into english dialogue.

"Hello." Kagome experimented,then looked around for a sign that might tell her where she was. A bright neon light fashed from her right in the semi-darknees. It read:

TRAVEL STORE: MAPS ,SOUVENIRS AND SO MUCH MORE!

"This'll do." Kagome said before walking into the store. At the counter a man was smoking a cigarette and reading Playboy.

"Excuse me?" Kagome asked politely to the man,trying not to wrinkle her nose as the disgusting smell of cigarettes wafted into her.

"Wha' is it?" The man asked grouchily,not appreciating being distracted.

"Where might I be?" Kagome asked,trying to mantain a polite face while thinking,You disgusting pig.

"Londin England." The man replied,before hiding his face behind his magazine. "Stupid foreigner."

"What did you say-" Kagome asked shrilly,her voice raising a couple notches.

"I said,'Stupid Foreigner.' Got a problem with that,kid?" The man said,his fingers reaching towards a gun he kept under his counter for protection.

"Why yes-" Kagome started,but was cut off when the gun was pointed directly at her head.

"Now,what didyou say." The grizzled man growled,his face contorted in anger.

"You don't want to do that." Kagome said with a brave front,hoping that InuYasha,even anyone,would come help her. There was nothing she could do. KAgome had no doubts that he would pull the trigger.

"Why's tha'." He asked,and his answer came in a flash of red and silver and the sound of a scream as his throat was cut.

<<Thanks InuYasha.>> Kagome told him in their native Japanese. He replied in rough english,obviously very angry.

"What did you think you were doing? You could have died! Do I always have to save you!" InuYasha snarled at her.

"Sorry! Next time why don't you just sit back and relax while I'm in a life threatening situation,that way I can spare you from saving me,if it really bothers you!" She yelled back,already knowing tears were trickling down her face. She stomped her foot once before running out of the door,heading to anywhere but there.

"Shit." InuYasha muttered,then took after Kagome,hoping she didn't get herself in anymore trouble.

WITH MIROKU AND SANGO

"I wonder why they haven't come yet." Sango said worriedly,eyes straining in an attempt to see something through the darkness outside their campfire.

"I think I know." Miroku suggested slyly. Sango didn't even respond;just brought the boomerang down on his head with a sickening crunch.

"I'm going to look for them." Sango said,then turned to Miroku.

"Normally I'd tell you to stick with Shippo,but he's..." She bit back a small sob. "He's gone. So just stay here."

Shippo had disappeared a few days ago. No one,not even Inuyasha,had been able to find him. Everyone assumed that the small kitsune was dead.

Sango ran into the forest,leaving Mirroku alone. The monk,nervous about staying there without anyone,put out their fire and ran after Sango.

"Sango! Where are you? Come back!" The houshi shouted as he ran through the forest.

"Over here!" Sango shouted from the darkness to his right. Miroku swerved.

"Where?!?!" He asked in confusion. He kept running until he ran straight into the woman he had been looking for,and they both fell down the deep hole and through the portal.

<<AGAIN? What did you do this time?>> SAngo asked,sighing.

<<ALL I DID WAS SAVE THE WENCH!>> Inuyasha yelled,then took off.

<<We better follow him.>> Miroku said. Sango nodded,and Kirara jumped into her arms. They took off after the departing hanyou,running until they came to a train station.

The train station was bustling as usual. Kagome distinctly remembered that this is the day when she was supposed to get back to school,and became very worried.

<<How am I supposed to get back home if I'm miles and miles from home. I have no money,no one to turn to..and definitely no flying cats. I could always go back to the portal..but where is it?>> Kagome muttered,and a look of panic crossed her face as she turned around.

In all her haste and confusion she had gotten lost. Tears started to whelm in her eyes. She brushed them away,but couldn't help it. Kagome sat down and stared at the ceiling,tears coursing down her face. She was tired,slightly hungry and lost. Her family was too far away to help,and she was alone. Needless to say,she forgot about InuYasha.

<<KAGOME!>> A voice shouted from the other end of the platform. A figure in red started running towards her. Kagome blinked several times,then let out a small sob of relief. With all her strength she flung herself off the ground and into the hanyou's arms. People were staring,but Kagome didn't care. At least one person she knew was with her.

<<I'm sorry Kagome.>> InuYasha said softly into her hair.

<<It's my fault for getting worked up->> Kagome began,but saw a familiar threesome heading her way.

<<Sango! MIROKU! KIRARA!>> She shouted in joy. Now people in the station were beginning to worry slihtly that they had a foreign lunatic in their midst. The trains began to fill up rapidly. Obviously no one cared to remain on the platform much longer. Only a few people stayed behind. Once their reunions were over,Kagome turned to the people.

There's something..off about them. Their aura's different then everyone else's. and they have owls and trunks. Kagome thought in confusion. The others seemed to notice her wariness and turned to the group of people. Kagome blinked. It looked like a couple had just disappeared.

<<What's going on here?>> Sango asked,voicing everyone's confusion.

Harry had enjoyed spending a couple weeks with Ron before school. But he was definitely happier knowing that Hogwarts was only a couple hours away.

After the usual confusion in the morning,like running up and down stairs,pieces of toast in hands and half-awake people bumping into walls while trying to find quills and spellbooks. Once everyone was dressed and ready,unnecessary comments and whoops of joy surrounded them as the muggle taxies came.

It took quite a lot of time to get everyone loaded on. The drivers helped,eyes widening at the owls and odd things that fell out of badly closed trunks. Finally they were ready to go.

Harry,Ron and Hermione got their trunks onto trolleys and pushed them onto the platform while awaiting everyone else. Soon they came. It was very crowded on the platform,and tons of muggles and wizards alike milled around. Shouting,crying and loud talking everywhere. Ron was pushing his trolley closer to Harry's when a figure in red slammed past him,sending him and his trolley onto the ground.

"You okay?" Harry asked Ron,who was pushing himself off the gound while sending death glares into the direction of the person who had pushed.

"I'll be fine-but that bloody idiot won't be if I get my hands on him." Ron threatened,still looking rather annoyed. Hermione and Harry helped Ron put his trunk and trolley right-side up.

"Honestly Ron,he might have been in a hurry-hey. Where is everyone?" Hermione began,but was now looking around startled it seemed all the muggles were pushing themselves onto the trains while some wizards ran as fast as they could towards the secret platform of 9 and 3/4.

The reason became clear. The person in red from before,who revealed himself to be a youth with silver hair and some sort of ridiculous dog headband hugging a girl in a school uniform. Behind them was a young woman with a giant boomerang hanging off her back and a young man dressed in purple and black carrying a golden staff.

"Who are they?" Fred asked from behind Harry. "Yah,they look awfully odd." George replied.

Ron's face became slightly red with anger,clashing with his orange hair. "That's the bloke that pushed me." He declared angrily,then walked up to the apparently unsuspecting youth.

Okay,for your info,this is near the Goblet Of Fire. Except I want to use certain names,so you might recognize things from later books.

Ron was just about to reach out and tap the boy's shoulder when the girl he was hugging turned to face him and his friends.

Ron's breath hitched. She was hot! But on other matters,the boy who had bumped him was staring at him in obvious irritation.

<<What do you want?>> InuYasha snarled,but of course Ron did not understand him. Seeing his look of confusion,Kagome sighed and translated.

"He asked,'What do you want?' But just ignore him." Kagome informed him. Ron found no response and simply stared a her.

"Something the matter Won-Won?" Fred asked,appearing next to Ron's shoulder."Cat got your tongue?" George asked,also appearing near Ron's shoulder. Ron would have replied with a rude hand gesture if his parents hadn't been there and informing them they only had a minute before the train left.

They were heading to the wall when Hermione turned to them.

"Are you coming?" She asked. Kagome looked rather confused.

"Uhh....Sure!" She said. With Inuyasha grumbling,Kagome looking slightly angry at InuYasha and Sango and Miroku talking,they started their adventure through the brick wall.

After the usual fuss for getting on the train,everyone settled down. Much to their luck,Neville and Luna Lovegood had saved them a compartment. After everything was put on the luggage rack,along with Sango's boomerang which rested between,everyone sat down.

Ginny sat in the corner,apparently staring out the window listlessly. Once Kagome sat down,she and the younger girl struck up a conversation. Sango sat next to Kagome,to spare her from Miroku's pervertedness. The afore mentioned monk sat next to Sango,and they started conversing about mudane things that they normally talked about when InuYasha and Kagome ran off.

Across from Ginny,Luna was twirling around The Quibbler. She sported glasses one normally found on people who watched 3D movies,and was oblivious to the rush of people entering. Neville sat to her right,clutching Trevor his toad in a death grip. Harry sat next to Neville,and the two began talking about Hogwarts and also guessing who would be their Defence Against The Dark Arts teacher. InuYasha,depriving himself of company,stood up,arms folded as he stared out the window.

BACK AT THE FEUDAL ERA


Kouga sped along in his usual whirlwind of speed,stopping only so Ginta and Hakakku could catch up. They travelled this way until they came to the camp which had been deserted by the Inu Gang.

"This is strange...their camp was broken up really fast,and Kagome's scent disappears mysteriously. THAT MUTT DIDN'T PROTECT MY WOH-MAN!" Kouga explained to the two wolf demons who had followed him. Hakakku sighed slightly while Ginta made a face while Kouga wasn't looking. It wasn't like they'd asked for the job to follow the finicky wolf Prince.

Kouga ran towards the forest,aiming towards where Kgome's scent had abruptly vanished.Going too fast,he tripped over a tree root and fell into the portal,quickly disappearing. As if it was a venus fly trap that was satisfied,the portal closed and the ground sealed up. There was no sign that five people had fallen through the hole. Ginta and Hakakku,who had just caught up,were completely at lost.

PLATFORM 9 AND 3/4

Once Kouga was tossed out the portal,he rubbed his head and looked around in confusion.

"Where the hell-" He trailed off when he noticed Kagome's scent. The wolf demon once again glanced around himself in worry,but shrugged it off.

Kaome's all that matters. Kouga thought before jumping down onto the rails and speeding off after the very,very faint scent of kagome and the scent of whatever she was on. some strange demon. Was the last thing Kouga thought before flying off even faster into the distance.
