Ch One. Meaning to be, but not.
Ichimura Tetsunoske, a young boy with the passion of a fighter. He longs to join the Shinsengumi. Just to find enough information on who killed his parents. While everyone doubts him, and treats him as a little kid. He acknowledes himself as a samurai. If only if he understood the meaning of " Samurai." That meaning of taking a life when needed, when protecting when it is called for, when dieing in the name of honor. Ichimura Tatsunoske, older brother of Tetsu, watches out for his brother more then he worries about himself. In the meanings, Tetsu is the only family Tatsunoske has left, all they have is each other. Will Tetsu pick up the sword, and leave behind everything. Knowing he must trade in his counter part of a soul, and trade it in for a demon. Who loves the scent of battle, death, and blood. Or will he find out who killed his parents another way. Is there another way, or in the end will his heart fade into nothing but darkness?
Tetsu was found early in the morning dodging the trio comedic horrors.( Shinpachi, Sanosuke, and Heisuke.) He decided to find Mr. Hijikata, to at least make him reconsider in letting him join the Shinsengumi. " Hey there short stuff, what cha doing." Shinpachi pestered him, he caught Tetsu trying to dodge him by going around a corner.
Tetsu - " Who are you call short! We're almost the same height idiot!"
Sanosuke - " Now I don't think that a page should upstand a samurai of the Shinsengumi."
Tetsu - " Well I don't care soon I will be part of the Shinsengumi and you all will have to respect me as an equal."
Heisuke - " I just think you look really cute when your angry Tetsu. But joining the Shinsengumi is not a game."
Tetsu felt a finger circle around the back of his neck. It was Heisuke. Tetsu had the most disturbed look on his face since indeed Heisuke was male. " Why don't you find a girlfriend Heisuke!" he yelled taking a few feet away from him. " I don't know, boys are so innocent." he answered, following Tetsu in his footsteps. Tetsu began a slight run when Heisuke almost touched him again, he ran into the stomach of Sanosuke. He looked up from his stomach and up to his face, noticing his scare. " Ah! Sanosuke why do you always have to flash your scar like that!" he complained whipping his face.
" Am proud of this scar, this scar reminds me of how I survived Sepuku." Sanosuke spoke proudly, even poking at his scar as he talked. " It reminds me of the story how I survived Sepuku, that gave me the name, " Death-Cheater.' It was back three years ago.." he began. Tetsu heard this tory too many times. He slowly walked away. Not letting Sanosuke see him, and letting Shinpachi and Heisuke hear it once again. Tetsu walked inside Shinsengumi headquarters, as he did he watched other members of the Shinsengumi practice their swordsmanship. " That will be me someday, among the best." he thought to himself.
