So, as I said in my other fanfic, my friend and I are writing this story together. Note, we are STILL writing, so it won't come out as fast as I could post my other one. Anyway, I'd like to give ZukoIsMine from fanfic.net the credit of roleplaying all Avatar parts. And, if anyone is curious, this fanfic is on fanfic.net too. Here ya go!




Chapter 1- The Battle

On his quest to master the 4 Elements, we find Aang the avatar traveling to the well known Kyoshi Island to visit some friends before heading to Ba Sing Sei to master Earth Bending. His companions, 14 year old Katara and 16 year old Sokka, eagerly await to arrive at kyoshi.

"Aang look we're almost there!" said an eager Sokka, hovering over the side of Appa's enormous saddle.

"Why so eager Sokka?" Aang asked jokingly.

"We all know Sokka wants to go see Suki again." Katara answered.

"Well I just..wanna..get more...warrior training in!" Sokka struggled to say. Katara and Aang looked at each other, then back to Sokka and laughed.

"Whatever you say Sokka." Katara joked.

"Hmph!" Sokka said grumply, sliding into his favorite corner of Appa's saddle.

Aang laughed and jumped, landing on Appa's head and grabbing hold of his reins, directing them towards the approaching island. Katara sat next to Sokka and watched the landing.

Appa, the Avatar's flying bison, landed easily in the middle of the city in front of the recently remodeled statue of Avatar Kyoshi. Aang bowed at the statue showing his respect and was eagerly greeted by the same girls that once swarmed him before.

"Aangy your back!" They all screamed.

"Hey girls...WOAH!" Aang tryed to say before they all grabbed him by his arms and dragged him away. All the girls giggled as Aang's feet helplessly dragged in the sand as he made an effort (which clearly didn't work) to break away from the rabid pack of girls.

Katara rolled her eyes and laughed at the sight of Aang being dragged away and the look he was giving her. She then turned herself to listen to the now talking Sokka and Suki.

As Sokka got off Appa, he was greeted by the same beautiful warrior he knew, Suki.

"It is an honor to see you again Suki," Sokka said with a bow.

Suki chuckled and replied, "It's great to see you again too, Sokka of the Water Tribe."

A long silence fell before either of the two spoke up.

"So, um, think we can get some more warrior training in?" Sokka finally asked before glaring at his sister, who was making funny faces at him.

"Sure, Follow me."

Sokka grabbed Suki's hand, and they both blushed before walking away towards the training building to get some more 'training' in.

At this point, Katara desided that it was getting too mushy and walked away after one last funny look at her brother who, in turn, glared and stuck his tongue out at her. She laughed. "Oh wow, I bet Suki was impressed with that," she thought. Being bored, she decided she wanted to do a little shopping. Katara browsed a few stalls, finding nothing of interest, then spotted a unique looking shop by the forrest edge. Katara jogged over and started looking over its wares...

“Inuyasha!” cried Kagome. “Look out!” Sesshomaru was closing in with speed that Inuyasha could not match or dodge. A quick blow with Sesshomaru’s Tokijin brought Inuyasha to the ground, his Testusaiga raised and taking the force.

“Brother, did you think that I would simply leave you when Naraku was destroyed?” Sesshomaru said, venom dripping from his voice.

“Just shut up, Sesshomaru!” yelled Inuyasha, and he pushed his elder brother back. Swinging to his left, he tried catching Sesshomaru off-guard. This, of course, didn’t work, and Sesshomaru brought the Tokijin from below, pushed the Testusaiga up effortlessly, and slashed Inuyasha in the chest.

“Damn,” cursed Inuyasha as he staggered back, clutching his chest. He looked down at his wound, which looked real bad, but in reality, it wasn’t too deep. He lifted his head to look at Sesshomaru once more.

“Now you’re gonna get it. Wind Scar!” he shouted, raising his weapon high into the air and bringing it down with a mighty sweep. Sango, Miroku, Kagome, and Shippou watched as the Tetsusaiga’s strong technique ripped through the ground, its yellow lightning-like claws tearing anything in its path.

“Inuyasha, you disappoint me!” said Sesshomaru, raising the Tokijin so that it was parallel with the ground. “Dragon strike!” Large blue lightning bolts shot from the sword, forming themselves into fearsome looking dragons. Then they, too, headed for their target, their mighty roars ringing through the air. Kagome and the others watched fearfully as the two powerful forces fought for control, each having their own thoughts.

“Like old times, eh?” thought Inuyasha to himself with a slight smirk. Little did he know, Sesshomaru had thought the same thing.

“Like old times.” The words echoed in their minds as the dragon and wind battled it out, each trying to get the upper hand. The winds that were caused by the attacks were slowly but surely drawing Kagome and the others into the center.

“What’s going on!” shouted Sango over the roar of the wind.

“The force! It’s pulling us into it!” cried Miroku, driving his staff into the ground to stop himself from being sucked in. Kagome looked around frantically as she held on tight to Shippou, who threatened to escape from her grasp.

“Sango! Hold Shippou!” Kagome shouted, handing the little fox demon carefully to Sango, who now stood behind her faithful pet, Kirara, to avoid the dangerous winds. Sango nodded in response and held Shippou close, preventing him from flying away.

“What’re you doing, Kagome!” shouted Miroku as she pulled out her bow and an arrow.

“What do you think I’m doing? If I don’t stop this, we’ll all be killed!”

“Kagome, it’s too dangerous!” Sango called out in concern. “You’ll hurt yourself!” Kagome ignored their remarks and used up every ounce of strength to nock that arrow and aim it at Sesshomaru. She pulled it back slowly, letting her energy flow into the arrow.

“Please hit the mark,” she thought, putting all her concentration on the arrow.

“Lord Sesshomaru!” cried a little voice from above, drawing the attention of everyone, with the exception of the brothers, who continued to fight.

“Lord Sesshomaru, you can take on this insignificant little half breed!” shouted another with confidence. The voices belonged to none other than Rin and Jaken, here to see the action first hand. They rode on Ah-Un, the two headed dragon, and watched the intense battle. Kagome, having to focus on what needed to be done and ignoring Jaken’s rude comment, diverted her attention back to the arrow, lining up her aim once again.

“Please,” she whispered, and she let go with the pluck of her string. The arrow sang in a high shrill as it flew towards the battle area, emitting a light purple glow like a comet in the sky. Sesshomaru watched as it headed towards him, then suddenly turned and headed for the slip in the powers

“Oh no!” cried Kagome, watching the arrow fly straight through the crack, it’s purple aura being absorbed. The two powers, blue and yellow, turned to the side and circled each other, creating a swirling light green vortex. The wind, with much newfound energy, began to pull in surrounding objects at an alarming rate. Kirara could no longer hold her posture and was torn away into the vortex, with Sango and Shippou as well. Miroku’s staff tipped from the top, sending him in, too.

Kagome, who had tried ducking behind a tree, couldn’t resist the wind, and as she was blown into swirling tornado, she futilely cried out for Inuyasha, who had his own difficulty standing still. Even Sesshomaru, the all high-and-mighty lord, could not stop himself from being sucked in, even when he dug his sword firmly into the ground. Ah-Un wasn’t able to evade it, and was immediately sucked in.

“Lord Sesshomaru!” shouted Rin, reaching a hand out to the taiyoukai, just barely grazing his wildly flowing hair. Sesshomaru lashed out to try and save her, but lost his balance and instead grabbed onto Ah-Un’s reins, therefore mounting the great beast. Getting an idea, he rode into the hole, not bothering to fight and instead trying to control the zigzagging path. Inuyasha, of course, was last, being the stubborn person he was. That is, until he saw Kagome flying in with everyone else. “Kagome!” he shouted, reaching out for her hand.

“Inuyasha!”

That was the last thing everyone heard before the darkness consumed their minds. As the power disappeared, not a single person remained, and the only evidence of the great battle was the crater that was left in its wake...




And that would be chapter one. A very long chapter one. ZukoIsMine, if you're reading this, I edited your part cause you had a TON of grammatical mistakes, and it's hard to read it like that. :cactus25:

I like your writing. Well thought out...I don't really like Avatar but I do watch it. And doy I love Inuyasha!

Down to my job anywho. You writing has good grammar so I don't have to touch base on that. I think that you are doing Sesshoumaru well. A little OOC but he's hard. I'd like more if you will and you played all the other chractars well. I'm a bit tired so I can't give a blow of a comment. To much science equations if you know what I mean...Updates?

For sure. My friend pointed out that it is a fanfic, and she put little things. Although the hard part came in chapters 2 and 3. Thanks for the support!

Chapter 2- Close Combat

"Inuyasha wake up!" Cryed the little voice of shippou as he tugged at inuyashas ears.

Inuyasha swatted at shippou, trying to get him to stop pulling his ears.

"Shippou, you little-"

"SIT!"

"Hey, what was that for!?"

"Be nice, Inuyasha." Shippou stuck out his tongue out at inuyasha.

Shippou had retreated to kagomes arms, before inuyasha could grab him.

"where are we." inuyasha asked looking around,"and wheres Sesshomaru?"

"We dont know, this is an unfamiliar forrest and Sesshomaru is no where to be found." miroku said stepping forward.

"Great" inuyasha said, cursing under his breath.

"What should we do Inuyasha?"Said kagome walking towards inuyasha.

"Well, no use standin around here. Kagome, can you sense any jewel shards?"

"No" Kagome answered.

"Well lets get out of this forrest maybe there is a town near."Everyone nodded.

Walking for hours threw the dense forrest inuyasha and his gang find a small town.

"What is this place?" Kagome asked.

"I dont know" sango said.

"Miroku do you have any idea where we ar..." shippous words were cut short as miroku walked away towards a stall where a girl stould in blue.

"Uh-oh here we go" Said sango as they all watched miroku approach the girl.

Miroku walked over to a stall at the end a row that was close to the forrest that they came out of.there a saw a beautiful young lady about 4 years younger than himself, that he was interested in.

"Ah, such a lovely lady," he thought to himself, walking over with his usual confidence. "Excuse me, miss?"

Katara stared up at a man that stould near her,"Yes?" she asked.

He clasped both her hands in his and smiled, showing his 'charming smile'. "Would you do the honour of bearing my child?"

Katara recoiled at the question,"Umm, w-what?" Katara asked, readying to do a water whip if needed.

"You are such a lovely-" he was cut off.

"Leave my sister alone!" screamed sokka.

Katara looked at sokka suprised, where had he come from all of a sudden?

"MIROKUUUUU!" came the terrifying voice of Sango.

The man now let go of kataras hand and turn to face the calling voice,as well as katara and sokka.

"Ah, uh, Sango!" WHACK. "You little lecher!" she scolded him, her boomerang well placed at the top of his head.

Katara and sokka stared at the preformance.With a quick thud behind hem katara noted that aang had flown to them and landed face first into the dirt.

"Hey katara, hey sokka whats going...WHAT THE HELL" aang said at the two fighting.

"But Sango, I was only being courteous!" Mioku pleaded innocently.

Katara looked at sango then miroku who was giving her a weird look."Pbbt you call courteous asking me to bear your child?!" katara said.

"Miroku! Sango!" called out Kagome.

"Where the hell are ya!" finished Inuyasha.

They could hear the two lovebirds bickering again and headed in that direction, Inuyasha jumping high over the trees and Kagome and Shippou riding Kirara in the air.

"But of course!" WHACK "OW!"

Sokka snickered at the sight of miroku being hurt, but then became nervious when sango turned to him.

"And what are you laughing at?" inquired Sango, eyeing Sokka.

"Just your little quiral" Sokka laughed and drew out his boomarang waving it in miroku's face,"Your lucky i dont kill you for hitting on my sister."

"You wish to fight? With that little thing?" said Sango, dropping the doll-like stary-eyed Miroku to cautiously pull her Hiraikotsu up.

Zuko walked out onto the deck of his ship,word has it that the avatar is on kyoshi island.Traveling for days zuko is now but minutes away kyoshi where he will land behind the island to not stur up any trouble.

'today i will capture the avatar and restore my honor.' zuko thought.

Today is the day zuko will write history.

The bright sunlight taunted Sesshomaru as he arose from the darkness.

He found himself still on top of Ah-Un, who now laid upon the soft sand of the beach. "Where is this?" thought Sesshomaru, looking around. He then felt somthing stir, and, lifting his fluff

He then felt something stir, and, lifting his fluffy tail, found Rin and Jaken clinging for dear life

"Rin, get up," he commanded, watching her eyes flutter.

"Yes, Lord Sesshomaru," she replied sleepily, rubbing her eyes.

"Let go."

"Oh, soy Lord Sesshomaru!" she said cheerfully, jumping to the ground.

Jaken, still snoring, paid no heed, until Sesshomaru grabbed him by his clothes and thew him to the ground.

"Oh, uh, Milord! You're alive!" crid the pathetic toad.

"See to it that you do not touch my tail again, Jaken," said Sesshomaru in an icy tone.

"Uh, y-y-yes Milord..."

Sesshomaru got up and gazeed at the water, the reflection hiding something deep beneath. Looking harder, he could see a small speck on the horizon.
"What is that?" he thought to himself, narrowing his eyes. As curiosity got the better of him, he remained on the beach, letting Rin play in the warm sand.

The object got nearer, until finally Seshomaru could figure it out. "A ship?" he questioned himself.

AS zukos ship coasted threw the harbor he say things moving on the beach.He called his guards to him.

"Ready the rhinos,the avatars not getting away this time."The guards nodded and walked off.

Prince zukos eyes never left the 3 moving objects on the beach.

--

"Lord Sesshomaru, what is that thing riding on the water?" asked Jaken, looking up at the mighty youkai.

"A ship," responded Sesshomaru. "And it reaks with the human stench," he thought to himself.

The bow dug into the sand, right in front of Sesshomaru and Jaken. Rin, noticing the tall structure, joined them too, a look of awe on her face.
Suddenly, the bow twitched, giving Sesshomaru barely enough time to grab Rin and Jaken, jumping to safety. The ship's bow fell suddenly, revaling a pathway with large Rhino-like animals at the top.They began to lumber down as their mounts uged them faster. Sesshomaru narrowed his eyes even further, knowing that they meant war.

At the head of the procession rode a boy not yet into adulthood. Like Sesshomaru, his face bore no compassion, only a large scar that overlapped
his left eye, and he wore hard armor to protect his body. His posture and attitude told Sesshomaru that he was in control. Moro Rhinos appeared,
circling Sesshomaru until they were completely surrounded.

Zuko strode up to sesshomaru,"Where is he!Where are you hiding him!"His face showed no fear but anger.

"I no nothing that you speak of, filthy human," said Sesshomaru, letting his anger tinge his voice.

Zuko shot fire out of his hand that singed the top of sesshomaru's head, "I know your hiding him!TEll me where the avatar is!"

Sesshomaru knocked Zuko in the head, sending his helmet flying into another soldier. His claws glowed a venom green as he glared at Zuko. "You'll pay dearly for that..."

Zuko growled,lifting his hands to both sides signiling his men to move in on sesshomaru. As his men moved in zuko jumped of his rhino landing in front of sesshomaru in a battle stance."Bring it, filth."

Lord Sesshomaru!" cried Rin from behind his legs.

"Jaken, take Rin on Ah-Un," responded Sesshomaru without releasing his glare.

As if Ah-Un could understand, he immediatly flew over, letting Rin and Jaken mount him before flying off into safety.Sesshomaru, his patience long gone, brought up two fingers which glowed a bright yellow. With a flick, he released a devastating
whip of light that sent all the soldiers flying back.

Zuko jumped up, and sliding his hands to the ground sending a shredding stream of fire towards sesshomaru that ripped everything in its way.

Sesshomaru neatly dodged to the left, watching it fly into the woods.

Zuko stared at him but then spun down the ground sending fire out in all directions breaking his roots and making him fall.With a quick leap zuko stould arm out ready to burn sesshomaru,to show he had lost.

"If you are signaling that I have lost, you are sorely mistaken," said Sesshoumaru, for he had somehow drawn his Tokijin during the commotion and now pointed it at his heart. "Mere fire cannot harm me as much as this can kill you."

Zuko stared at the blade,fear pulsing threw his veins.Before zuko could make a move soldiers threw there spears knocking the sword out of his hands allowing zuko to escape.Guards tossed him his broad swords, and zuko stould swords drawn and sesshomaru.

Sesshomaru stared him down, showing no emotion whatsoever. "Those eyes," thought Sesshomaru. "You seek for someone that I do not know. Leave, and value your life."

Zuko let down his swords,"Maybe we can make a deal."

Sesshomaru paused. "A deal? I need nothing from you," said Sesshomaru, then realized that he did need something.

"I can sense you do,maybe if you help me find something i can help you find somthing in turn." Zuko said a grin crossing his face and raising an eyebrow.

"Where are we?" asked Sesshomaru, ignoring the prince's forced politeness.

"Kyoshi island." zuko answered.

"I have never heard of such a place, and as a lord I have been educated well. So either you are lying to me, or..." Sesshomaru couldn't even bring himself to say how little he knew of what had happened.

"I am prince zuko, prince of the fire nation and heir to the throne, you say your a lord?" zuko said forcing a bow and smile.

"I am Sesshomaru, Lord of the Western Lands," responded Sesshomaru.

"So what brings you to kyosi island lord seesshomaru" zuko asked.

"My half-breed brother and his wench," said Sesshomaru, getting a new interest in the prince.

"Half breed brother huh, are you looking for him?" A smirk crossed zukos face,looks like he has made a new ally.

There was a pause. "I only wish to find a way back." Suddenly, he caught a whiff of Inuyasha's scent, along with what smellde like...water? "It seems that my brother is rresting near some form of clear water," said Sesshomaru, to himself more than anything.

"You can travel with my men and me into town...If you help me find the avatar, then ill help you find your brother and a way back to where ever you want to go."Zuko said.

Sesshomaru pondered this for a moment. "Agreed. However, if you dare interfer with what I do, you shall find yourself an early grave," said Sesshomaru, settling the matter. He motioned for Ah-Un to come down from the sky, and Rin immediatly ran to see Sesshomaru.

"Lord Sesshomaru, are you ok?" she asked, but he did not respond.
"Rin, this is Prince Zuko," he said. "Treat him with respect."

"Yes Lord Sesshomaru!" she replied cheerfully.

"Milord!? You're teaming up with a filthy human!?"

"Jaken."

"Yes Milord?"

WHACK!

"Do not ridicule my actions, or you will recieve more that what I gave you,Sesshomaru threatened.

"Yes Milord..."replied the injued Jaken.

"Nice to meet you miss rin" Zuko said with a bow.Zuko motioned a guard to bring a kamodo rhino,"Here you will need this to travel."

"I do not need such an animal," responded Sesshomaru coldly. "Rin, mount Ah-Un."

"Right!" she said, struggling to pull up the unconscience imp with her.

"As you wish,Men head course for kyoshi" Zuko said.

The fluffy thing isn't his tail. It's not connected to his body in any way! Unless he chopped it off..But no one would do that,seeing how it would hurt incredibly and it would be morbid to carry it around.

NIce update otherwise.

Oh hush. I know it's just a fluff and that the creator put it that way, but it's cool to envision it like a tail. Imagining it as a tail is much better than just a random thing of fur... :kiddy:

I'm just saying. His tail looks nothing like that when he transforms,and the fluffy thing isn't connected to his body. But you don't have to listen to me. NO need to use stupid emoticons.

Come to think of it, when you see Sesshomaru in his demon form, you can see thicker fur on the side where the fluff lies in his other form. I'm serious, it's kinda cool!

I like this still. I can't image why I'm laughing though. Whatever...I read this last night but never got the chance to respond. My daddy made my leave. Okay then moving on I think that I like you formats better then other people and you plot. Keep it up!

Chapter 3- Imprisoned

Sokka stared at Sango's massive boomarang. "Where did you...how did...that boomarang..."

"It's made from Demon's bone," said Sango.

"Sango!" cried Kagome from above. "What's wrong!" Inuyasha suddenly appeared from the tree tops. "You pickin a fight, kid?" he said, cracking his knuckles and baring his fangs.

"Inuyasha, don't hurt them! They look like their peaceful people!" said Kagome.

"No, but tell your friend over there not to be hitting on my sister!" Sokka shouted. Inuyasha looked back at Miroku with a disgusted look. "That's just like you, Miroku."

"I can't help it!" he said innocently. "Anyway, we're sorry," said Kagome kindly.

"Thats all right." Katara said smiling.

"My name's Kagome, and this is Sango, Miroku, Shippou, and Inuyasha. The cat demon belongs to Sango, and her name is Kirara," said Kagome, pointing to everyone as she said their names.

"Nice to meet you all, my name is Katara. This is my older brother Sokka, and this is the Avatar, Aang," she said, also pointing to them when she said their names.

"Wait a second what do you mean by demon?" Sokka said, alarmed.

"A demon, you idiot! Don't you know what those are?" said Inuyasha rudely.

"A demon! There are no demons here!" Sokka yelled back at inuyasha.

"Well now there's three!" Inuyasha shouted back. "Sit boy!"

The inuyasha crew weren't surprised as Inuyasha was forced face first into the dirt. "Kagome!"

"Inuyasha, can't you ever be nice for once?" asked Kagome wearily.

Shippou poked out from behind Kirara and said, "What's a auveetaur?"

The group stopped there fighting and turned there attention to the town, for people were screaming and running in all directions. Sokka reached out and grabbed a running man.

"Whats happening!"

"FireBenders!"

Inuyasha suddenly stiffened as he smelled the air.

"Inuyasha, what is it?" asked Miroku in a serious tone.

"Sesshomaru..." was all that he said at first. "And a lotta fire."

Prince Zuko rode up with Sesshomaru next to him. "I want the Avatar alive." Lifting his hands the men, he motioned for some to scatter and some to creep behind for a sneak attack if ordered. He then positioned Yu Yan archers on the roofs with nets to capture the avatar and his friends.

"Come out Avatar!" shouted Zuko as he and Sesshomaru started walking through.

Down from the roof tops jumped the warriors of Kyoshi, lead by Suki, and they started taking down the other men while Zuko and Sesshomaru closed in on Aang and his friends.

"Zuko..." Aang said in a low voice.

Zuko shot out blast of fire from a great distance towards Aang, but Aang jumped up, spinning his staff and landing in front of Zuko. Aang made an effort to hit him back, but Zuko kicked the staff out of Aang's hand.

Meanwhile, Inuyasha had his own problems with his half-brother as they exchanged blows with their swords. Kagome and the others had gone to help the warriors of Kyoshi, fighting desperately.

"What are you doing here, Sesshomaru!" shouted Inuyasha as the two held their swords against the other in hopes of gaining an advantage.

"None of your business, half-breed!" shouted Sesshomaru, and he pushed Inuyasha off to the side.

Zuko threw punch after punch at Aang, who was dogding them effortlessly. He then charged at Aang, who picked up to fans and did two flips, sending a gust of wind at Zuko to him crash into a wall.

Zuko winced from the impact and made a hand signal to his men, and Katara and Sokka, now backed into a corner, were netted and tied up, along with Aang, who was rained upon with arrows, then netted. Kagome and the others were being netted as well. Now all that remained was Inuyasha.

"Inuyasha!" shouted Kagome from the net. "Kagome!" he called back, his attention distracted. "Such a fool, letting your guard down," said Sesshomaru, and he slashed down on Inuyasha's back, a power of blue lightning coursing down his little brother's spine. Inuyasha's eyes went wide with pain as he fell to the ground, unconscience. "INUYASHA!"

While Zuko and his men carried the nets back to the ship, Sesshomaru dragged Inuyasha on the ground, not letting him have the pleasure of having a rope to tie him up and protect him from the numerous rocks and small hills on their way. When they did reach the ship, Zuko offered to keep Inuyasha and his friends in the cells. He then invited Sesshomaru to eat with him him the mess hall.

Sesshomaru kept to himself, not eating anything nor making an effort to get anything to eat.

"So..." Zuko started,"Now that we have the Avatar and your brother as prisoners, what shall we do with them?" asked Zuko.

"Do with them as you wish," said Sesshomaru placidly.

"You dont want your brother? Can't you make him your slave or somthing?" Zuko said flatly.

"I do not need such a half-breed to serve under me. Besides," said Sesshomaru with slight amusement. "He is not one to take orders."

"Then kill him or somthing. I have no use for him here, father will probally hang him when we reach the Fire Nation Capitol and restore my place on the throne," Zuko said.

"You were the one who wished to 'capture' him. I merely knocked him out."

"That may be true, but I can tell you don't like your brother very much. Wouldn't you like to have the honor of destroying him?"

"It is true, I despise my half-demon brother and his filthy human mother. However..." Sesshomaru trailed off.

"..." Zuko stared at Sesshormaru blankly.

"What I speak is of no concern to you," Sesshomaru said. "My brother, dead or alive, is a disgrace to both demon and human. Why let him be free of such things?"

"I see" Zuko pondered.

"Why do you posses the power of fire?" demanded Sesshomaru. "You are only a mere human."

"Because i am a FireBender. I can take lightning as source of energy and send it back at someone as fire," Zuko said, picking up a cup of wine to take a drink.

"I have never heard of such a thing."

"I've never heard of a demon before either," Zuko stated, raising an eyebrow.

"Interesting. It seems that we come from two different worlds," Sesshomaru said, unconcerned.

"You could say that, I guess," Zuko said, snapping his fingers over and over to create a flame, then put it out.

Inuyasha's eyes fluttered open, he groaned in pain trying to move off the ground, but failled miserably. He made out the image of Kagome wiping his forehead with a wet cloth.

"Hey look! Inuyasha's waking up." Said Miroku, glancing over to his friend.

"How is he doing?" Katara asked over the chatter in the cell.

"Not to well, we need to get him a doctor. But the guards have refused our pleas," Kagome said, hanging her head.

"Katara, can't you use your WaterBending to heal him?" Sokka spoke up.

"Sokka, your a genius!" Katara yelled, running over to Inuyasha.

"I know, well..." He stopped when he noticed that everyone was watching Katara.

"Shippou, can you bring me that bowl of water?" Katara asked.

"Sure!" the little fox demon said as he dragged over the bowl filled with cool, fresh water.

"Where has he been injured, Kagome?

"His back and his chest," kagome said worriedly.

"Take off his cloak, so I can heal him." Kagome blushed, but did as she was told, and she gasped when she saw the long gashes on his chest and back.

"How are you gonna heal that!"

"Like this..." Katara pulled a stream of water from the bowl that encircled her hand a made a bright glow. She moved her hand over Inuyasha's back, taking deep breathes in and out. The water found the cuts and began to heal. The others watched in amazment as the gashes turned into mere smudges hardly noticable on his back. Katara then worked the water over Inuyasha's chest and the cut completely healed, leaving no trace of the scars behind. Katara proceeded to slowly draw the water back into the bowl.

"You can put his cloak back on again," Katara said.

Kagome nodded and fixed his cloak back into place as Katara took off her parka and rolled it, placing it under Inuyasha's head.

"He should be fine now." Katara offered a smile and Kagome thanked her. Katara then slid in the corner of the cell next to Sokka. Kagome remained near Inuyasha, holding onto Shippou in fear, and Miroku and Sango slid into a seperate corner when Sango tiredly layed her head on his shoulder. Miroku, seeing it as his chance, he grabbed Sango's butt, recieving a red hand-print in his face. Miroku closed his eyes and sighed. Well, he tried.


Wow, that's a lot. Anyway, that's about it, and I'm sorry I'm posting this so late for a lot of you guys I know. I'm on a different time zone.

Chapter 4- Unexpected

Aang sighed and tryed to move, but Zuko had carlessly chained him to the wall. Aang had kicked and kicked, trying to break free, but instead accidentally kicked Miroku square in the head. "OW! Sango? I didn't do anything!" cried Miroku.

"It wasn't me," said Sango in exhaustion.

Aang laughed. "Sorry, that was me."

"Oh, don't worry then," said Miroku. "Um, if it isn't too much to ask, why do you have arrow markings on your skin?"

"Im an airbender! When an airbender becomes a master, the monks tattoo shoots up your head, arms, back, and down your legs!" Aang said cheerfully, still trying to break the chains.

"You are a monk?"

"Of course! ALL the airbenders are monks!" Aang looked at Miroku with a big grin.

"You call yourself an 'Airbender.' Does that mean that you worship another god?" questioned Miroku.

"It means that I can control the air currents around me," Aang said, bending a bit of air towards Miroku.

"Ah!" exclaimed Miroku with wide eyes,"Such a feat. And yet, you are human?" Aang laughed at Miroku's reaction. "Yup."

"Amazing. Growing up as a monk, I had learned that only demons possesed such powers. It seems that I have much to learn," he said, inching towards Sango. "Don't even think about it, Miroku," warned Sango as Miroku put on a cheesy smile. "I wouldn't dream about it..."

Aang smiled at Miroku. "Oh really?" he said sarcasticly.

"I am but a simple monk," he said defensively.

"I've said that before too." Aang said looking towards Katara's sleeping form.

"She has fallen asleep. That healing must have taken a lot of energy," said Miroku, a little concerned.

"I'm not sure, she has just discovered her healing abilites, and I'm worried...about her..."Aang said slowly, letting his sentance trail off.

Miroku could only nod in understandment. "Kagome, how is Inuyasha?"

"Heh," said a small voice, and everybody turned to see the rising Inuyasha. "Damn Sesshomaru," he snarled getting on his hands and knees. "Inuyasha!" said Kagome, worry written all over her face.

"How are you feeling, Inuyasha?" called Sokka from across the cell, who now turned to check on his sister.

"What happened? Why are we here?"

"Zuko and Sesshomaru captured us," replyed Aang from his place on the wall.

"Sesshomaru? You mean, he's still here!" shouted Inuyasha, jumping up. The soreness in his back kicked in, and he was forced to lean against the wall. He growled in annoyance, then reachd for his Tetsusaiga, which wasn't there. "WHAT? Where the hell's my fang!" yelled out Inuyasha, looking around fiercefully.

"A guard took it. I suspect Zuko and Sesshomaru have it locked up somewhere on the ship," said Sokka.

"Heh, Sesshomaru can't touch it anyway," muttered Inuyasha.

"Inuyasha, you still need to rest. Katara did what she could, and now you need to lay down. We'll get out," said Kagome hopefully. "Yeah, somehow," added Shippou. No one said a word after that for a while.

"Hey, why're you on the wall anyway?" asked Inuyasha.

"Well, Zuko chained me up here. We're probally heading into the Fire Nation as we speak," Aang said, anger dripping from his voice.

"Fire Nation?" inquired Sango.

"The world is divided into 4 nations; the Air Nomads, the Water Tribes, the Earth Kingdoms, and the Fire Nation. When the Fire Nation attacked, they set 100 years of war on us. Only one person could stop them, me. Zuko has been sent to capture me. Once he suceeds, the Fire Nation will take over the world, and even I won't be able to save us," Aang explained.

"So, we're not in Fuedal Japan anymore, are we?" said Kagome with a sad face.

"WOAH YOU GUYS ARE FROM A DIFFERENT WORLD!" Sokka yelled, making everyone turn and glare at him.

"Well, that explains the whole demon thing," Aang added in.

"That blast must have transported us here," said Miroku thoughtfully.

"At least it's better than being dead!" said Shippou cheerfully.

"Knowing Zuko, he probably has an execution lined up for us all," Sokka said.

"Execution? I don't think that'll work with Inuyasha..." said Miroku.

"What do you mean?" asked a curious Aang.

"He's half demon. Most likely he'd rip up half the place," said Kagome, looking side-ways at Inuyasha.

"Rip up? I'd like to see that," Sokka said, smirking.

"Oh really?" said Inuyasha, cracking his knuckles.

"Really."

"You know, you're really getting on my nerves, kid," said Inuyasha rudely.

"Ditto." Sokka spat out.

"Ok, that's it. You two have to be nice if we want to get out," said Kagome.

"Well why dont you tell that to dog boy over there," Sokka said with a smirk.

"That's it, get over here!" shouted Inuyasha, readying his Iron Reaver as he reached out to Sokka.

"That does it!" Sokka yelled lunging at Inuyasha, sending to the two flying back. They rolled back and forth on the ground fighting.

"You little kid! Do you think that you could possibly beat me?"

Sokka just growled as he got the upperhand and was on top of Inuyasha, pulling his ears. "Damn you!"

"Inuyasha!"

"Here it comes," muttered Shippou.

"SIT BOY!"

BAM.

"...Ow..."

Katara instantly woke up from all the banging. She stared at Inuyasha, who was sitting on the ground, and Sokka, who was laughing at him.

"Oh, you're awake?" asked Kagome kindly.

"Now I am. What happened here?" Katara said, motioning towards Sokka and Inuyasha.

"They started it, and I finished it," said Kagome, annoyed.

"I see..."

"Back to the matter at hand, how are we to get out of here?" asked Miroku.

"Well, if I was trained in FireBending, I could probably melt the bars, but I don't know how to make the fire, and I'm not a fan of FireBending," said Aang, looking at Katara.

"Yeah, and we need to get you off the wall," said Kagome.

Aang stared at Shippou. "Shippou! Your small, I bet you can squeeze through the bars and get the keys. See they're right there!" Aang said, motioning to a hook on the other side of the room.

"You think?" said Shippou, not too sure of himself.

"Sure you can, Shippou!" encouraged Kagome.

"You can do it Shippou," Katara said, leaning down with an encouraging smile.

"I'll try," he said, examining the bars. After finding a big spot, he stuck an arm through, then a shoulder.

"Good job Shippou! Keep going!" Katara yelled.

"See, you can do it!" exclaimed Kagome happily.

Shippou tried sticking his head in, resulting half his body inside, half outside. "I can do this!" he shouted happily.

"Wait! I hear something!" said Inuyasha.

Footsteps faintly echoed in the dark hallways, rocketing towards Inuyasha's sensitive ears.

"Shippou! Get outta there!" cried Kagome, struggling to get the kitsune youkai out.

"I can smell Inuyasha's blood. The humans must not clean this place," thought Sesshomaru, disgusted, as he followed the guard that held Tetsusaiga. "Rin and Jaken have left on Ah-Un, so they should be air-born by the time Inuyasha is noticed."

"Sir. what will we do once we reach the cell?" the guard asked.

Sesshomaru remained silent.

"Sir?" questioned the guard.

"You shall speak when spoken to if you value your life," responded Sesshomaru, annoyed that he had to have this human carry the Tetsusaiga for him.

The guard nodded and motioned to an occupied cell which contained Inuyasha and the others.

"Sesshomaru! What're you here for?" shouted Inuyasha, baring his small fangs.

Katara, Sokka, and Aang all looked at each other before listening to the conversation. Without warning, Sesshomaru's hand glowed a bright venom green, and he made quick work of killing the guard, who now lay decapitated on the floor. Ignoring the painful barreir that sent bolts across his palm and up his arm, he grabbed the Tetsusaiga and threw it through the bars towards Inuyasha, who caught it with one hand.

"Wha...?" was all that Inuyasha could say before Sesshomaru cut him off. "Use your time wisely," he warned, then left without another word.



That's it for chapter 4. Leiko and I have to roleplay chapter 5, so we might do that tomorrow.
