Author’s note: This is a story of mine written in first person point of view (pov). It’s about a girl named Amri who thought that she was a normal girl until some demons show up and kidnap her. She finds out something that will change her life drastically. But what is it? Just read and find out for yourself.

**Chapter 1- Another demon attack**

*~~~~~~*~~~*late one night*~~~*~~~~~~*

A demon by the name of Rasune was creating tragic once again. I had been sent by my family to get rid of him again. They told me it was a test, but I wasn’t a fool. They were blackmailing me to do this because they were afraid of the demon, and that they wanted me to be the first demon slayer to be 14 to become an expert demon slayer. I sighed as I thought about this, how could they? Even if I have plenty of older brothers and plenty of sisters, not one of them are even close to my capacity, except the three oldest.

Rasune grabbed a young woman. He ran off. I sighed in tiredness. The feeling of annoyance swept over me. Why does he always run? I sighed once again and ran after him. Chasing him down every week was starting to get on my last nerve. I ran him down into an ally. Rasune was trying to get the woman to show her neck. Doesn’t he get tired of doing the same thing over and over again? Guess not if he’s still doing it.

I walked over to him. “Alright Rasune, you’re caught in the act, now just let the woman go.” I told him. Rasune looked at me, his red eyes glowed in the darkness of the allyway. I saw blood dripping from his chin. He had killed yet another person. I sighed again. “Listen Rasune, why don’t you just give up?” I asked. Rasune stood up. I looked down at the corpse of the woman. She was still alive, but just barely. I looked back into Rasune’s eyes. He was walking toward me.

I took a step back. I didn’t like the look in his eyes. His red eyes were focused on mine. The blood still dripping from his chin. I took another step back as Rasune got closer. He stopped infront of me. He wipped the blood from his mouth and chin. I don’t know what was wrong with me, but I just stood there, transfixed by his eyes. “Amri, do you want to know why I’ve been killing these pathetic humans and getting their blood?” He asked me.

I blinked. “Why?” I asked, alittle confused. Why was he going to tell me this now? A demon would usually do that when they have me in a trap. “I’ve been getting the blood from these humans because I need power. Getting the blood from these creatures helps me get stronger.” Rasune answered. Ok...weird. Why would blood give him power? Not unless he’s been getting blood for over a thousand years or something. Then I’d be in trouble. I know I should doubt it, but for some reason, I'm not. The wind blew slightly. Rasune’s black hair moved with the wind.


I think I might be over doing it with 9 fics, but I really want people to read this fic too. I know it sounds weird, but I hope you like it. I started writting this last night. Tell me if you like it. Oh, and sorry if it's short.

A little short, but longer than my updates. I really like it so far! Update soon! If you've been wondering where I was, my computer wasn't working for a while but now it does! ^_^

One thing wrong with it. The paragraphs. When the people talk you might want to make that into a new paragraph.

**Cahpter 2- Getting bitten**

I caught sight of an evil smirk on his face. His eyes flashed evily. “H...how long have you been killing humans for their blood?” I managed to ask, my throat suddenly dry. “Over 2 million years.” He replied, taking a step forward. I knew it! He was definitely stronge. I took a step back.

My face must have shown fear because he grabbed my throat and started choking me. “I’ve tasted many different types of blood Amri. I‘m willing to let you have that chance and rule over all demon world with me.” He told me. He tightened his grip on my throat.

I started to choak. I struggled to get free, but it wasn’t helping because he had a firm grip on me. He pushed me up against the wall. “But, first I must make you one of us.” Rasune continued. An evil smile showed on his face. “W...why...are...you doing...this?” I managed to ask. He tightened his grip.

“Silence. I’m doing this to be the most powerful demon. I’ve killed many demon slayers over the years. Would you like to be one of them?” He told me, then asked. Since he had a tighter grip on my throat, I couldn’t answer. He smirked, then opened his hand and let me fall to the floor at his feet. I coughed as I tried to get as much air as possible.

Now I know why they’re afraid of him. Not just because he’s a vampire demon, but because he can easily over power you. I looked up into his blood red eyes. He was just watching me. I tried to get to my feet, but fell back down again, my strength still hadn’t returned yet.

I knew that my family was watching all of this happen from the safety of their home. Those bastards, making me do all the hard work. I coughed again, then stood up fully. “Maybe I should reconsider on making you one of us. The first time I saw you, I’ve had this feeling of ripping your throat out and drinking your blood.” Rasune said quietly, watching me. I didn’t have enough energy to fight yet.

Rasune pushed me up against the wall again, this time holding me by my arms. He was in my face now. “I wonder how your blood tastes like. Maybe I should find out.” He said quietly. He lowered his face to my thraot. I felt his hot breath on my neck. I shivered. “You have a fine neck, mind if I take a taste?” He asked. I didn’t say anything.

He opened his mouth and was about to take a bite when I took out a knife and cut his throat. His blood splattered everywhere. He let go of me and walked backwards. “You fool, you can not defeat me so easily.” Rasune told me. He removed his hand from his neck for me to see it re-healing by itself. In a blink, it was gone.

I wasn’t as surprised as I thought I would be. I got in a position for battle. “I’m not going anywhere with the likes of you. You really need to go back to the demon world and stay there.” I told him in a serious tone. An evil smile crept across his face. I saw his fangs gleam in the little moonlight. Then, he disappeared into the darkness of the night.

I looked around, my eyes scanning the darkness of night. Then suddenly, someone grabbed me from behind. I struggled to get free. I felt a sharp pain in my neck. No! He’s getting my blood! I continued to struggle, but it didn’t work. My body as getting weaker, as if I were losing energy. My body suddenly went limp and my mind went blank.

**Chapter 3- Under control**

Everything was getting back to me now. I opened my eyes and looked around. I was laying on the floor at Rasune’s feet. He was looking down at me. He wipped his mouth and smirked. “Your blood tasted quite good. Better than any of the others that I’ve tasted. But now you’re one of us.” He said. What did he mean ‘one of us’?

“Come, the sun is going to rise soon and we don’t want to be caught in it.” Rasune continued, looking toward the west. I stood up. I wanted to attack Rasune now, while I had the chance. But, my body wasn’t cooperating with me. It’s out of my control. He’s controling me! But...why isn’t my mind under control? My body is, but not my mind.

Rasune looked at me again. He walked over and kissed me. That’s when I noticed that I had fangs now. My body was kissing back as if I needed him, literally. Rasune finished kissing me, then took my hand. “Come.” He told me. I suddenly felt weak and fell to the floor.

Rasune picked me up in his arms. “Don’t worry, it’s just the beginning. There’ll be more changes before you’re fully one of us.” He continued. He looked down at me again. “I’m sorry about this, but, I must.” He said quietly, he covered my eyes and I felt myself slip off into darkness.

I felt my mind start working again. I don’t know why I woke up though. I tried to open my eyes, but that thing was still over my eyes. My body refused to move. I heard voices. “Rasune, she’s a fine one. Who is she?” A voice said. It sounded right next to me.

“She’s a demon slayer.” I heard Rasune replied. Dead silence. “Are you a fool? They could kill us all.” Another voice came. “No, not Amri. She’s under my control now.” Rasune continued. “Already?” Someone else asked. “Yes. Her blood was delicious, but I will not have anymore. She must be awake by now.” He continued.

I felt myself being lifted up allittle. Then thing covering my eyes was lifted off my head and was gone. I opened my eyes and looked around. I was in a dark cave full of vampire demons, male and female. A vampire demon got infront of my face. His blood red eyes just staring into mine.

“You’re right, she is under your control. Her eyes are redder than yours though.” The demon said. “Thank you father.” Rasune replied. The demon nodded. A female vampire demon came up to him. “Tohiro, can we go now?” She asked. Tohiro looked at her. “Sure.” He replied. They left together.

Another demon walked up to Rasune. “She looks alittle too young.” He said. “No, she’s not. She may look it, but she has a mind of an adult.” Rasune responded. “Hm, I’m still not sure about it. She looks evil.” The demon continued. “Aren’t we all evil, Kisumo?” Rasune asked. I looked up at Rasune, then back to the demon.

“Hm. I may be your younger brother Rasune, but that doesn’t mean I don’t notice things that other people don’t see.” Kisumo replied darkly. He stared back into my eyes. You can stop with the staring any minute now! Kisumo smirked, then turned and walked away. Rasune picked me up again. I looked up at him. “Don’t worry, you’ll be safe.” He told me. Yea, sure I’ll be safe. Rasune put me on a flat rock away from the others. “You need to sleep.” He told me. Everything went dark.

**Chapter 4- Demon slayers in the cave**

My body was sleeping, but my mind was wide awake. I can’t let him control me anymore! But how could I fight agaisnt it? I heard silence around me. Everyone must be either sleeping...or just staring at me. There was a sound of something suddenly bursting open. My body didn’t even move, but there was a lot of movement around me. I suddenly felt myself being picked up. I slowly opened my eyes.

I saw myself being moved away from a certain area. I looked up and saw Rasune carrying me. I wanted to ask something, but wasn’t sure if I could. “Where are we going?” I asked. He looked down at me. “Don’t worry, the others can handle it. I’m taking you to a safe spot because if they try and get you, you won’t be able to defend yourself.” He explained to me.

I guess I really could talk...but only what my body wants me to say. Dammit! That’s no good, then how will I tell my family that I need help trying to get back to normal?

Someone jumped down from above in the ceiling. It was a young man. “Hand her over.” He said in a stronge voice. Is that really my oldest brother? Wow, he looks handsome now. I haven't seen him in over 5 years. He looked at me. I turned towards him.He was the best demon slayer in the family...well, other than me and the other two oldest, but I’m not a demon slayer yet, so it desn’t count. “I won’t let her go. She’s under my control now.” Rasune replied with a smirk. “Let her go, now.” The man said in a more serious tone of voice.

Please Nokiro, you can’t beat him. Don’t try. Rasune put me down on a near by rock. He turned to my older brother. “If you want her, then you’ll have to go through me.” He said. The man’s eyes narrowed. “You’ve fallen in love with my younger sister. I want her back.” He said angrily.

I saw his brown eyes trying to find something in me. I tried to make as many signals as possible, but his eyes just got even more narrow. He looked back at Rasune. “You will die for making my sister one of you.” He continued.

I could tell that all the other vampire demons were watching from the darkness. My body moved my head to the right. I saw 2 other people there. A boy and a girl. My other oldest brother and sister. The boy was the second oldest, and the girl was the third oldest. They saw me. “Try and get Amri out of here!” Nokiro called out to them.

They took some steps forward, but some vampire demons blocked their way. “If you try and get to your sister, then we’ll rip your throats out.” One of them said with a smirk. “Damn. Now how are we going to get to her?” Koniru (sister) said
loudly. “Knowing Amri, there’s probably some part of her that’s still there. She
can’t be a full vampire demon just yet.” Simuro (brother) told her.

They’re right. But how am I supposed to contact them? I wish I knew how! Rasune started walking forward. “I thought you wanted your sister back so badly?” He asked. Nokiro looked at me again, then back to Rasune. “I’ll kill you to get her back.” Nokiro responded. He would? He actually cares!!!

“Yes, but then you’ll have to deal with every vampire demon in here. And you’ll either be killed, or turned into one of us.” Rasune continued. Nokiro took out a small knife. “Wait, let me fight him.” I said suddenly. Everyone looked at me. I got up from the rock and just stood there. “But, Amri...he could kill you.” Rasune tried telling me. I smirked. “He wouldn’t kill his sister.” I replied.

Alright, there's another update. Since I'm still writting chapter 5...I won't update again on this fic today. TODAY, only though. ^_^ Hope you like this update. I have to go and clean the kitchen now, bye!

**Chapter 5- Fighting to gain control**Part 1*

I walked forward alittle. Nokiro lowered his weapon. “Please Amri, I don’t want to hurt you.” He told me. I was so happy that he cared, but I didn’t want to fight, and I didn’t want to hurt my brother either.

“Let’s see what you’ve got. I’ve always wanted to fight you for some reason. But now that I’m stronger, I can easily defeat you.” I continued to say. Well, the part about wanting to fight him is true, but not the other part, hell no! I know I rarely curse...even in my mind, but I can’t help it! It’s not like anyone’s listening anyway.

“Please Amri, you have to fight it. He can’t be controlling all of you. There has to be some part in you somewhere that’s still there.” Nokiro begged. I just smirked even more. “My older brother, actually begging for me not to kill him. How entertaining.” I said quietly. Nokiro got serious.

“Alright Amri. You leave me no choice, but I guess I have to take you by force. I care for you and don’t want to hurt you, but if I have to, then I will.” He said. He got ready to fight. I started laughing. “You won’t be able to touch me, not once.” I replied, an evil grin creeping onto my face. My fangs shined. “Fangs...” Nokiro said quietly.

I took a step forward, then I broke into a run. When I got close enough, I took out a small knife. Nokiro tried to hit me, but I dodged it and cut his stomach area. He let out a cry of pain. He was on the floor, holding his bleeding stomach. Nokiro!!! My body walked up infront of him. “Heh, I told you that you wouldn’t be able to touch me. One hit and you’re on the floor, bleeding at my feet.” I continued. He looked up at me with sad eyes.

“The real Amri wouldn’t hurt me...but why?” He asked. “Why should I tell you?” I asked. No! Don’t hurt him! I licked the blade of the knife. Ew! I hate the taste of blood! “Hm, your blood seems to disgust me, but why should I just try it? I’ll share it.” I said evily. I saw fear in my brother’s eyes.

I raised the knife to attack him. He didn’t try and get any defense up. Nokiro, pleasee, don’t die. I don’t want you to die because my stupid body’s under control! The knife started to go straight for his heart. Ah! I can’t take it! I won’t let my body hurt my brother! I care too much!!! My hand stopped moving. Nokiro just watched, still with a sad look on his face. It turned into a half sad, half confused expression.

“Why do you hesitate? I thought you wanted to share my blood with the other vampire demons?” he asked. My hand started to shake. I didn’t know I could do that, I was forcing my hand to stop moving, but my body, since it was under control, was trying to push forward. I forced my hand to open. My hand shook harder. I let out an angry cry. “Dammit! I can’t attack! The stupid girl’s trying to fight back.” My body said. That wasn’t me speaking, but it was how I felt.

**Chapter 5- Fighting to gain control**Part 2*

Nokiro’s expression changed to a slightly happy look. “Amri, you’re trying to fight back.” He said quietly. He tried to get up, but let out a small cry of pain and knelt down on the floor, holding his bleeding stomach. Nokiro! That’s it! I can’t take it! I need to get out of here! My hand opened suddenly. The knife fell to the floor with a loud clank.

“No...she’s starting to gain control again...” My body said. I started to clutch my head and continued to let out cries of anger and pain. I had my eyes open. My other brother and sister ran past the vampire demons and up next to Nokiro. Nokiro was just staring me. Soon, all three of them were just staring at me.

“Wow, she really is fighting back.” Simuro said quietly. They helped Nokiro to his feet. Simuro took out a knife for protection while Koniru was helping to support Nokiro. “Simuro...you have...to try....and help...Amri....gain control again.” Nokiro said weakly. Simuro nodded in understinding.

“Wait, shouldn’t she be the only one who can get out herself? She has to over power it by herself, right?” Koniru asked. She looked at Nokiro. He was slipping off into unconciousness from too much blood lost. “Don’t you dare faint on us Nokiro, we need you, now more than ever.” Koniru continued, trying to get Nokiro to stay awake.

I let out another angry cry. “That’s it! I need to get this over with before she interrupts again!” My body shouted, snatching up the knife. She ran at Nokiro. Simuro blocked my way, but I took out a knife and stabbed him in his left arm. He knelt down on the ground holding his bleeding arm. Simuro!!! NO!!!

I started to fight back again. My body ignored it and just continued. Koniru had put Nokiro down on a rock. She took out a knife and prepared to defend her brother. I tried to hit her, but she blocked it. “I know all your moves Amri. I’m the only one that does. You can’t hit me, not once.” She told me. I kicked her in the stomach, then cut her right arm. She knelt down on the floor holding her bleeding arm.

I walked over to Nokiro. He just stared at me with a blank look. He was awake, but it looked like he didn’t care anymore. I raised the knife again, aiming for his throat this time. Nokiro sat up and turned to me. “Amri, go ahead. Kill me. But will it make your life any easier?” He told me, then asked. I got closer, making sure that the aim was presice.

Nokiro looked serious all of a sudden. I was growiling now. “Damn this stupid wench! She’s still trying to fight. Augh! I need to get it over with fast.” I said loudly. My hand went quickly to his throat, but paused 2 seconds before it made contact with his skin.

“Why do you hesitate?” Nokiro asked. My hand was shaking harder than ever than. It slowly opened, then closed again, and so on. I used all my might...well, imaginary might. My hand opened fully. Nokiro disappeared. I felt myself gain control again. I looked around quickly. “I need help!” I shouted. “That’s Amri.” Koniru said quietly.

You're welcome. Just wanted you people to stay interested. ^_^ I can't update more today. I might if I can, but I'm still doing my soanish project. Stupid spanish project. All I have to do now is make an iundex and the cover page and make borders for the papers. TTYL!!!

**Chapter 6- Fighting, then knocked out**

I ran over to her. “I’m so sorry! But since I’m still under control, I can’t stay out long.” I told them. Koniru just stared at me. “Your eyes, they’re blue.” She said quietly. I sighed in relief. At least something was back to normal again. I quickly wrapped her arm in bandages.

I went to Simuro and bandaged his wound afterwards. “I’m sorry.” I told him. “Glad to see you’re back to normal.” He said quietly. “I’m not fully back to normal, I’m still under control. But right now, I’m out. I won’t be for long though.” I replied. I got up. I walked forward alittle. “Amri.” A voice said from behind me. I turned around.

Rasune slapped me hard. I fell backward onto the floor. Rasune towered over me. “You will be under my control. Even if I have to do that all over again.” He said darkly. He grabbed my arms and lifted me up. “No! I’m not going back into being under control! I won’t let you!” I shouted, desperate to get free. “And what are you going to do? You can’t attack me with you in this state.” He replied, smirking. I continued to struggle.

I had tears in my eyes. I didn’t want to be under control again. He had 2 million years to get all this strength. I can’t beat him! Rasune got closer to my neck. “No one can help you now.” He said quietly. “Someone can help her. She has her family to help her.” Simuro said, standing up. Koniru stood up too.

“Guys, there’s something you don’t know about him though. He’s been collecting human blood for over 2 million years.” I told them. “Are you sure?” Koniru asked. “Yea, and how do you know?” Simuro asked. “He told me.” I replied. Rasune laughed evily, then turned to them. “She’s right, I did tell her. But you’re too late now.” He said.

He turned back to me. He bit my neck again. I felt the familiar pain again. “NO!!!” Koniru and Simuro shouted at the same time. I opened my eyes. Everything I could see was going hazzy. I can’t let him control me again! But what can I do? I’m helpless. I could feel myself losing control of my body again. “HELP!!!” I managed to shouted.

I fell to the floor, my eye sight still all hazzy. I clutched my head. I was so dizzy all of a sudden. “Hm...you seem to be forcing yourself to in control.” Rasune observed. I stood up and swayed slightly. I staggered over to a rock, still clutching my spinning head. “I...I can’t let myself be controlled again.” I said quietly.

Rasune walked over and picked me up by my arms. He pushed me up against the wall. “One more should do it.” He asid quietly. Koniru ran at him and kicked him out of the way. Simuro caught me. “Put me down Simuro...before I’m not myself anymore.” I told him. He put me down. I swayed again, but then I started clutching my head again and letting out cries of pain and anger.

“Her eyes are changing from dark red to blue. Back and forth.” Koniru observed. Rasune stood up from the floor. “You’re going to pay for that.” He said quietly. He disappeared. I was watching this, even though I couldn’t do anything about it. Rasune appeared on the floor, unconcious. I suddenly felt a sharp pain on the back of my neck, then everything went black as I fell to the floor. I felt someone catch me.

Alright, here's another update. Hope you like it. And along with this chapter, I will add just one word to describe my fuiture updates. *ahem* The word is: WOW!!! And that about covers it all...I think. I hope you like my future updates. I'll try my best to update everyday. Some at night, some in the early morining for me. Just hope you get to like it better. Maybe, if I'm lucky, I'll update twice. I highly doubt it though, except weekends. TTYL!!!

**Chapter 7- In captivity**Part 1*

I felt myself being carried. I heard voices. “Why do we have to have this thing over her?” Koniru asked. “Do you want her to die?” Simuro asked. “No...” Koniru answered in a low voice. “Ok then, there’s your answer.” Simuro replied. He must be the one carrying me.

“That was a good hit Nokiro. You knocked her out with one hit.” Koniru changed the subject. “I wish I didn’t have to though. She was trying to stay in control, but I knew she couldn’t stay like that way forever.” Nokiro replied in a weak voice.

I forgot that I had cut his stomach...I mean my evil part had cut his stomach. I heard a door open. “We’re home!” Simuro shouted. I heard rushing feet, then a gasp. “Is...is she dead?” I heard my mother’s voice. “No, we just don’t want her to die.” Simuro replied.

“Die?” My mother asked in a confused voice. “Yes, die. She’s still under the control of Rasune, but she fought well.” Simuro replied. “Ok...bring her inside.” My mother continued. I felt myself moving again.

“Uh oh, she’s awake. We really have to hurry.” I heard Simuro say in a slightly worried voice. I felt the movement of going faster. I started to move more, then I started growling. “Yep, she’s definitely awake now.” Koniru said loudly. “What’s going on?” I heard my father’s voice. “Amri is still under Rasune’s control and she’s waking up.” Koniru replied.

“More like already all awake. Ow! She just bite me!” Simuro added, then shouted. I did bite him, on his arm. His blood flowed into my mouth. Is it just me, or is the taste of blood getting less distainful? Oh great...I must be getting more under Rasune’s control! I need to try and fight it, but it only made my brother let out another cry of pain.

“Damn it! She keeps bitting me! If she bites me one more time...ow! That’s it! Someone else hold her!” He shouted. “No way! You volunteered to carry her, you deal with it.” Koniru told him, slightly annoyed. “She’s hungry, she needs to feed.” Nokiro said quietly. “Nokiro....why is your stomach bleeding freely?” My mother asked in a worried voice. “Amri.” He replied, still in a quiet voice.

“Here, let me hold her. I doubt she’ll bite me. My blood has garlic in it so I highly doubt it.” My father said. I growled louder. “Fine, here.” Simuro said with relief. “Ow! Hurry up!” He added as I bit him again. I felt myself being moved alittle. I kicked the black thing off me and flip through and landed on my feet about 2 feet away.

“Yep, she’s awake.” Simuro said quietly. I just growled. My father stepped forward. “Amri...what has happened to you?” he asked. “What do you think?” Wow! I actually managed to say something slightly sarcsatic. “Your eyes....they’re blood red, no...darker than any red I’ve seen.” My mother said, walking up next to my father. My throat felt dry. I suddenly felt as if I were about to faint. I staggered a bit, but stayed my ground. I missed a step and began to fall. My father caught me, then everything went black.
