Who do you think would win?
Personally, I think Ed would. He doesn't need the transmission circle, and Al does. But if it was only hands on, um... I think it be a tie.

Ed would win, even if he is vertically challenged. He doesn't need a transmutation circle, and he would probaly be stubborn enough to keep going until Al either gave up or was sick of fighting.

Ed, Al, dunno really. After the end of the series you really can't tell, they've both been through the gate.

^_^;; But anyway, they've fought before in arguments and in sparring. Al always won when it came to sparring, but erm, Ed was just better since he didn't need to transmutation circle. I think in the movie, they were basically evenly matched.

But, for some reason I just think that Ed would still be able to beat Al.

But if they did fight, Ed would win with alchemy, and Al would win without.

I know they would never fight.... but the thing they have fought..... but still I just wanted your guys' opinion...

Actually in the manga Al doesn't need a circle to transmute now either so they have almost exactly the same abilities. So even if they fought to the death one would either get lucky or it would be a tie.

Well they don't seem as brothers that will fight to the death, but if they fight as I said before, Ed with alchemy and Al with his fighting skills.
