Kassey sat next to her best friend on the bus, Cathy. The young girl was tired from the night before, where sha had spent three hours past midnight finishing an essay worth 20% of her final grade. She gave a sigh as Cathy went on about how she was going to make her first party with guys and girls, they were 14 and never been to a girl guy party.


" So I was thinking we could invite Jamie." She said. Kassey nodded " YES!" Kassey had had a huge crush on him since kindergarden. " Ok it's this Firday, don't forget!" Cathy said.


" Never!" Kassey exclamed. Cathy nodded in satisfaction and they got off to go to school. They sat through math, social and then science. Then they had lunch followed by art, history and then gym.


Kassey threw the football towards Cathy with a perfect sipral and caught it and instinctivly tucked it under her arm. Kassey smiled. " Awesome!" she yelled. Both girls had learned how to throw a football together when they were five. Kassey's dad had died when she was two from a motorcycle accident, well to her it wasn't an accident at all, the driver was drunk and her dad was always cautious and careful when he drove, she knew she had ridden with him.


" Head up!" Cathy yelled to her friend who quickly caut the ball and put her fingers in position to throw back. Suddenly the coach blew his whistle franticly. " WOLF!" he cried. All the kids ran inside the building, except for Kassey who walked towards it.

Why am I walking towards it, and I'm not even scared of it....?" she thought to herself, her brown hair and brown eyes reflected the wolf. It was a boy, she knew that for sure. It growled as she approuched it.


" Calm down." she whispered to it putting her hand out and rubbing her fingers together. The wolf snaped at her fingers as if it were a warning shot. His big yellow eyes glowed as saliva fell down his mouth but she kept her arm still. It nipped her finger, not taking it off just sinking his teeth in and then releasing revealing a stream of blood that ran down her arm. Wincing in pain Kassey pulled her arm back.


" Oh so that's how you wanna play?" she asked. It looked at her like she was smiling. " Look I didn't do anything to you, so please just leave." she said in a gentle voice. Like he was dazed the wolf left her and the field everyone had been playing in and she felt the coach approuch her. " Kassey get back here!" he yelled at her all the way inside until she got in the nurses office where she was treated and she went home as if nothing had happened

" Kassey, can yo uget the door?" Cathy yelled at her best friend. Already twenty kids had made it to the party and more were on the way. Jamie was standing at the door looking at her.


"Jamie.... hi..." she said blushing. " Come on in." she said queitly. He gaver her a friendly smile and wlaked inside the big house, it's winding staircase made it seem like a castle. She let him come in. They both walked down to the basement where everyone was talking and dancing and the accasional person making out in the closet.


"Ok everyone!" Kassey said, a clear plastic bottle in her hand. " It's time to play... Spin the bottle!!!" she annouced proudly. Kassey's heart and jaw droped. Cathy had failed to mention that to her. Like they were robots everyone sat in a circle as Cathy placed the bottle in the middle. Then with a smooth gesture of her hand spun it around in a circle. Spinning for about ten seconds it finaly landed on a guy from second period math.


He smiled, his silky black hair fell over one eye and his green eyes glowed with a hidden desire but he walked calmly. The two went into the hallway and after about five minutes Kassey went back to drag them to the circle. Next was her turn.

Her shaking hand touched the plastic of the bottle and her wrist twisted, pushing the bottle with it. The bottle spun around and kept spinning then she realized it was slowing down. Heart racing she couldn't take her eyes off it as it slowed down and landed on.. Jamie. Her heart pumped so hard it hurt.


" Humm..." he smiled at her and the two of them walked into the empty hallway. The lights were off. Cathy said it added affect, Kassey had no idea what she was talking about. " So are you ready?" he asked her. She blushed and held her hands nodding.

" Umm I think." she said, her hand was bandaged up with a bloody cloth, her family was actuly fairly poor but her best friend was rich. She took a deep calm breath and lend over to kiss him. Her eyes closed and she leaned over, but something happened. She felt a pang in her shoulder. She looked down and realized that Jamie was... biting her. Blood fell from her arm and she looked at him.


" I'm sorry." he said whiping the blood from his mouth. " Now, our mission is complete." he said and then kissed her lips gently before smiling and walking back out towards Cathy.

" It was a great party but I really have to go." he said and walked upstairs and out the door.

Kassey looked very confused but she grabed her shoulder, blood already staining her shirt. She could feel the pain of it running through her body. She emerged from the hallway and faced the group. " Cathy I'm sorry I'm gonna have to leave early, my head is killing me." Kassey said trying desperatly to hide her bloody shoulder. Cathy looked and saw it and quickly dragged her to her room."


" Kassey, if you haven't noticed, your bleeding!" Cathy said. " What were you doing!?" she asked half in shock half in wonder. Kassey held her shoulder tight but didn't say anything.


" Kassey are you listening to me?" Cathy asked. kassey shook her head. " Yea i am sorry." she said. " Look you have to get back to your party and I have to go home, I'm having some trouble with all this stuff, I'll call you later." Kassey said before running out of Cathy's room and out the front door.


Kassey sat at the bus stop holding her shoulder, the bleeding had slowed emensly but there were still small drops. She ignored it and just made sure that she could get on the bus without too many looks.

The bus pulled up and she quickly walked on finding a seat next to a teenage boy listening to a mp3 player. " That's a bad cut you got there girlie." he said calmly, she hadn't even seen him look at her. His eyes were glazed to the window.


" umm yea I guess so." Kassey said. " I'd hold pressure on it if I were you." he told her. She looked at him and slowly put her hand on her shoulder again pressing against it, her hand was thin and bony but it was strong.


" Your cursed, badly too, but your... different." the boy said. " What was that?" Kassey asked suddenly interested. " What are you talking about!" she asked.

" Your a wolf girl now." he said calmly. " Your a creature of the night, a slave to the scent of humans blood." the boy said. Kassey looked at him " You can't be serious!" she exclaimed.

His face showed no sign of being kidding. Kassey was in awe she didn't know what to do, her life had always been so simple and easy. She was poor and happy, she was the lower class, the charity case and at school all the popular rich girls talked about her when she wasn't around. It had always been this way but already she was feeling the sensation, the desire for fresh blood running down her mouth but that was disgusting! How could she desire something so inhuman. Well as if the boy had read her mind he answered this.


" Your not human any longer." his voice was the same steady pace. Kassey's mind was racing. She had no idea what to think except to get home. She had already realized the the bleeding in her shoulder had stoped. She pulled off the cloth. She wished desperatly that she could just wake up from this horrid nightmare.


" You have a fate that is yours to take or deny but which ever you choose your going to end up being cursed forever. Oh and I would stay away from silver if I were you." he said as the bus came to a stop and he walked off leaving Kassey sitting on a bus by herself.


" Wow my life sucks!" she said to herself looking out the window and scooting to the place that the boy had sat. Her eyes scanned outside, darkness setting her sheet over the city. The stars appeared in the sky one by one as Kassey sat on the bus and watched them for about an hour before getting off at a place she thought she could walk home fairly easily from.


She ran into her room and changed into a tank top that she could sleep in and some long pj bottoms before pulling her shoulder infront of her to see the bite. Now there was a white foam forming in the two puncture wounds that she wiped off with the cloth. She ran into the bathroom and got a cloth that she wraped around her shoulder. What was she going to do about school? Well she would probably have some stanger come up to her door and tell her that on a full moon she was going to turn into a beast.


Kassey woke up the door bell ringing. She wiped her eyes and got up to go to the door. Standing in her front step was.... no one. " Ugh!" she muttered before closing the door and going back to bed.


The next day she walked in a park near her apartment. Her pace was slow and peaceful, she didn't want to think about anything that had happened. She stepped lightly on the path before her when something grey ran through the forest. Kassey walked over to see what it was, a grey and brown wolf stood infront of her. " Your majesty." it bowed it's head down low enough to the grass.

" I'm sorry... WHAT!?" Kassey asked shocked. The wolf looked at her, his golden eyes glowed. It didn't responde for a moment trying to come up with the best way to tell her what she was and of her fate.


" Your majesty, a long time ago you, or rather your mother was a chosen human. There were only a few and they were to have desendents that would take the place as a ruler for the battle, the chosen desedent had to be bitten so it was half and half. You see the humans and the wolves made an alliance many centuries ago. The wolves came to attack a village but there was a.... sourcerer there that made a deal with us, the wolves would have the ability to talk and to the fated few change into humans when they wished in exchange for the villages perservence. Of course we accepted but now there is a war and a leader that is both must lead us there." the wolf said trying to sound as calm and respectful as not to scare Kassey.


" Shut up! You have got to be kidding me!" she said slowly. Then she started laughing. " This is a joke right?" she asked. The wolf looked at her and trying to hold back a laugh he started again.


" Umm majesty, I'm not done. Over the years a few wolves started to see the abuse and crulty towards our cousins the dogs, well they attacked the humans so the sourcerer cursed us so as we crave human blood but unless we want to die at his hand we cannot have it, even you majesty have the crave am I right?" he asked her. She stared and without a word nodded.


" So this sourcer, he's still alive?" she asked now confused. The wolf nodded.


" Yes, he lives under our protection as you must soon do also. There is much more that is needed from you majesty." he said his eyes escaping her gaze every little while and looking at the grass, as if it were a sin to look at her in the face for longer than thirty seconds. " Now majesty, we must go please if you would be so kind as to follow me." he said gently walking into the forest. Kassey looked around nervously but followed.

Kassey was speechless for some time but soon came up with more questions. " Umm so what's your name?" she asked him in a hesitant tone. He turned to face her again.


" Oh, my apoligies my name is Craden, a sargent in the war that will soon take place." he said bowing once again respectfuly at Kassey. She only smiled, her whole life she had been looked down upon and suddenly she was the one looking down how wierd it felt, like she was very out of place.


" Umm who exactly are we fighting." she couldn't help but let another question slip out. She smiled shyly but the wolf obedeintly and without hesitation tryed to answer to the best of his ability.


" Well majesty, that is to remain condidentual." he said trying to sound as respectful as possible. His eyes were like a full moon glowing and shining beautifuly. She felt so at home just looking at him but she pulled herself away.


" Oh that's ok, i'll probably know in time, I mean we're fighting them aren't we." Kassey said putting on a little smile, it was a part of her she couldn't go to a day without smiling.


" Hiya ya majesty." he said with another bow. She giggled. She really wasn't used to all this attention. " We're here majesty." he said coming up to a wide cave dripping at the entrance. He lead her inside to a chamber where three wolves stood, thier eyes were hash and red like an evil had been injected in them but at the sight of Kassey they immidiatly bowed and let both the girl and wolf pass.


" your high majesty!" they all bowed lower and spoke quiet and respectfuly.

" Just call me kassey." Kassey said to him. It felt so weird for people to call her that. She felt very out of place when people called her somthing other than Kassey.


" Um i don't know if i can." Craden replied putting his head down, now more out of shame than pride. His whole body was strong and noble but when he felt shame it was easy to tell, his body lessened in strength and his eyes turned into those of a child.


" Oh, that's ok...." she said sweetly following him down the hallway until they reached a large door. The wolf pushed his head towards it and it opened to Kassey's amazment, the door was so heavy. Inside sat a handsome young boy about 15 years old at a desk writing on a peice of paper with a pen. His brown hair was as dark as tree bark and his eyes were blue as the sea.


" Ah, the queen herself is here." he said smiling to himself, his smile was as handsome as he. His eyes glowed with anticipation at the girls apperance. " Just as beautiful as I imagined you highness." he said elegently. The boy was rather charming and brought a smile to kassey's face to look at him.

Kassey looked at him and he bowed at her and put out his hand that after looking at Craden, she took it. The wolf stepped away slowly and out the door. The sourcerer sat at the desk again and offered a seat to Kassey who gracisly accepted. She sat down and looked at him.


" Your majesty, there is much to do in such a short time." he said calmly. " I have set out a room and an attendent for you." he said. She looked up quickly and shook her head.


" No that's ok I think I can do things by myself." she said trying to sound like she apreciated the thought. He smiled.

" Your too humble majesty but I think in the end your going to need them." He said bowing his head down at her gaze. " Oh and by the way did Craden do his job to your satisfaction?" he asked. She nodded


" Oh he was great!" she said in an enthusiastic tone. The sourcerer gave Kassey an eye of suspicon but let it go and coninued.

" But you must be tired from a long day of explaning and shock so i will have someone take you to your room and we can talk tomorow?" he asked as if asking her approval. She nodded in acceptance and with the clap of his hands a young wolf pup came in and escorted her out of the room and into the hallway.


The pup walked for a long time down the hallway and up staircases until they reached a room with a large four post bed and all sorts of beautiful and pricless things set in it, they had obviously been expecting her. The room was free from dust and as she walked in the pup bowed it's head and then looked up at her. This pup was not as obidenant or insistant to " honor" her and she liked that, at least someone would keep her head from growing.

" Is this acceptable highness." a girl's voice came from the lips of the wolf pup who when turning to face her again had turned into a beautiful human girl of about 14 which was much older than Kassey had ecpected. She had long red hair and blue eyes and was actuly wearing a long green dress, which was wierd because she had been wearing fur just a little while ago.


" Oh yes!" Kassey said and then asked. " Is this really for me?" the girl smiled and nodded before walking away and leaving Kassey to her four post bed and enormouse room.

She sat on the bed and rubbed a red blanket that covered it. " This is so strange... I wonder... does Jamie acutly live her some where?" she said to herself, before a knock at the door. She opened it and to her suprise saw the boy before her.

" Well speak of the devil." she said smiling " Someone I know!" she said. Jamie laughed. " Highness, can i come in?" he asked. Her mind started laughing uncontolably, she had known him a long long time and never never never had he called her highness, that was so strange to her.

" Jamie, we've known eachother since we were two... call me Kassey as you usualy would, please!" she pleaded. He smiled at her again. " umm... well... I guess if it's by your command." he said. She nodded satsified.


" so.... whatcha up to?" she asked casualy, her mind couldn't believe she was saying this to the guy she was head over heals for since she was five but she was.

" Oh..." the boy blushed, " I came to apologies... for earlier." he said. " And we didn't carry out... what was planned..." He said. Kassey's heart lept at this. He leaned over and kissed her on the lips before smiling and walking out. Kassey felt the place where his lips had just been and blushed bright red.


She fell on the bed suddenly and fell asleep. She had had enough excitment for one day she thought and she fell into darkness and relief of dreaming.

Kassey woke up to the same wolf pup that had led her to her room leaning over her with a smile crossed over her lips. " What?" Kassey asked rubbing her eyes. " waky waky!" the girl said. Kassey giggled and got up to see a beautiful blue dress with sliver rim resting on the end of her bed. The girl gasped at it as the 14 year old quickly fetched it and handed it to her.


" Hey, I didn't catch your name..." Kassey said. " I'm Kassey." she put out her hand. The girl smiled, her eyes were a=obviously amused that she was using her name. " I'm Alisha." she said shaking the offered hand infront of her. Kassey smiled. " Nice to meet you, and thank you for all your help." Kassey said.


" It's my unpaid job of course!" Alisha said. Kassey giggled. " Well I'll go put this on." she said walking into an attached bathroom to her bed. She took off her shirt and pants and slid the dress over her head. It fit slightly loose and she felt like she was dressing as a princess for Halloween.


She walked out and Alisha admired her for a second before nodding in aproval and she motioned for Kassey to follow her out. Kassey did so and saw that the hall way was much busier now and that people were staring at her. Her hearing must of improved because she heard to "human" boys whispering that she looked hot.


Alisha seemed to be in her own world as she stared at a boy with shaggy blonde hair and blue eyes walk past her and smile at them. Kassey giggled and as Alisha turned she quickly stopped. " Someone's in L-O-V-E" she whispered. Alisha nudged her jokingly before they stopped outside the sourcerers doorway once more and Alisha knocked. You could hear a "yes?" come from and she pushed it open.

The handsome boy had a black cloak wrapped around his shoulders and greated Kassey with a smile. He was a little dirty and Craden was at his side. His eyes glowing yellow. Kassey smiled and sat down. Craden bowed his head and walked out the door, Alisha followed him out.


" You look very beautiful today highness, I think you should meet the people that will teach you today." he said. Kassey looked at him, a little confused. The sourcerer just laughed. " You will need to know sword play and how to ride a horse." he said. " And things like that." Kassey nodded and like she had a cue Alisha came in and smiled. The sourcerer waved his hand and Kassey got up and Alisha brought her back out and into the halls.


" First you will meet..." she cut off mid sentence as the blonde boy came up to her again. Bowing at the sight of Kassey and then turning to Alisha. " Wo.. would you like to go the ball banquet thing with me?" he asked. Alsiha was completly caught off guard.

" Umm... s.. sure." she said. Kassey stood back smiling. The boy smiled happily he hadn't been rejected and ran off. Alsiha turned to Kassey and giggled which Kassey returned with a broad smile and Alisha finished telling her that her first instuctor would be Davis, a specialist at the craft of sword play.

Kassey looked at Alisha, " Ok wait... what kind of ball?" she asked turning to Alisha, who at the mention of it went scarlet." It's just... a umm.. banquet kind of thing where people dance and enjoy eachothers company." she said.


Kassey glared at her.. " I MENT what kind of ball!!" Alisha laughed. " It's one to kind of welcome you, and for us to have fun. We've been working for a long time without a break." Alisha said. Kassey nodded. " So when is it?" she asked as the approuched a door to the outside.


" I'll tell you, when your done here." she said as she pushed the door open and a tall slender man with brown hair, showing white strands looked up at them. He had a sword in his lap and was engraving something in it but at the sight of Kassey put it down and bowed. She curtsided although she had no idea why, it just felt right.



" Majesty." he said. She smiled and he handed her a sword from a rack and nodded at Alisha to leave. THe girl did as she was told and Davis turned to her. " My name is Davis, although you've probably already been told that..." he said. Kassey nodded.


" Ok... where shall we begin?" he grabbed his own sword and smiled. " How about just showing me what you know?" he asked. She nodded hestitantly. Her sword flung forward and missed Davis's head. He was holding in a laugh and took his own sword and set it by her neck. Her shoulders and head droped in defeat after thirty seconds of combat.

" Nothing to be ashamed of majesty, and you never ever drop your head or show shame in the face of the enemy." He said. Kassey nodded mentaly noting all these things and they began the lesson. He taught her how to block, and the basic movments of defence, nothing of defeat and an hour quickly passed. Alisha pocked her head in and Davis droped his sword and sat down. " Good work for today majesty, i will see you tomorrow."


Alisha and Kassey walked out and went back to Kassey's room where strawberries, grapes, bananas, and a goblet of water awaited them. Kassey stared, everything on the tray was perfect and as she popped a grape into her mouth noted that it was also very sweet tasting. She smiled and Alisha sat down and joined her, with permission from Kassey's eyes reached for a strawberry. The two girls ate and talked about the ball until there was a knock at the door.


Alisha opened it to find Jamie standing there. Her eyes turned to Kassey who said he could come in and with a school girl smile from Kassey understood that she liked him and went out of the room.


Outside Alisha giggled to herself and pressed her ear against the wall.


" Kassey." Jamie said coming inside and taking Alisha's seat. " I know it would be very improper for a lower class like me to do so, but would you be willing to let me take you to the ball?" he asked. Kassey and Alisha's heart raced and outside Alisha smiled. Kassey stopped chewing a piece of banana.

( i'm not gonna be able to update!! well for about a week!! sorry! I'll try to work on writing the chapter while i'm away though!)

Alisha knocked on Kassey's door as the stars glimmered in her window Kassey yelled come in. Along with a small but gourgiouse Alisha came a beautiful purple and blue gown covered in glitter and lace with a shimmering silver tiara. " I can't believe i said yes to... Jamie!" she exclaimed happily. Alsiha smiled.


" Way to go kiddo!" she said, she was wearing a simple blue gown with dots of silver. Her hair was in a bun and the dress rested just under her arms. Her bare shoulders were thin and pale.


" Wait..." Alisha had been walking over to the dresser when she turned. "Kase... do you know how to dance?" she asked. Kassey went bright red and shook her head. Alisha put a hand on her hip and a smile crossed her face.


Kassey was sitting in a towel with wet hair resting on her back. Alisha got a comb and gently pulled out the knots as she talked about the different steps and what you were supposed to do and when and put on her make up and slipped her in her gown. By the time they were done, Kassey was wearing the purple and blue gown with her hair set loosly around her face and a silver tiara on her head, her eyelids were covered in a blue like eye shadow and the sides of her eyes were heavyly covered in glitter. Her lips shimmered with a light coat of gloss and her her curled slightly at the end.


" Ok get up queeny!" Alisha said. She set her hands on Kassey's shoulder and hip and talked her through the movments. " This is how your supposed to dance." she said, but then she laid her head on Kassey's shoulder. " But this is how your going to dance." she said smirking and taking it off. She gave Kassey a wink.

" Your ready darlin!" she smiled happily. With that the two girls walked to the ball room.

COOL!!! I cant wait to read the next part!!!! Which would be the ball thing right?

Both boys stood looking at the girls and the girls just smiled at one another. " You ready for this darlin?" Alisha asked. Kassey smiled and nodded. Both girls went out to the dance floor and Kassey sighed and curtisied at Jamie who returned it with a bow and he took her hand and hip. As classy music played of an orcustra in the background, all eyes were on the two of them.


" I'm sorry, I'm drawing so much attention." Kassey whispered. Jamie shook his head. " Not at all!" he said. Kassey's feet flowed with Jamie's movements. They danced the night away and after a while the music stopped and everyone sat down to eat. Kassey sat down at the head of the table and Jamie sat on the left side, the sourcerer on the right and Alisha and her "date" on the right side of her.


Food was brought out on sliver and gold platters and everyone started to eat. A glass of champain (sp) was set infront of Kassey and she eyed it for a little while before taking a swig. She smiled, the taste bit her tounge and she loved it!. She tried to be classy and cut her food properly but it was hard since she was used to pizza and hamburgers.


" Now!" the sourcerer stood up. " I gave you Queen Kassey." he said. A loud applouse erupted and kassey stood up and smiled and sat down again. " Now the last few dances of the night, thank you and have a good night." he said and everyone got up and went with their partners. Alisha smiled and nodded and Kassey slid off the tiara and her head slid onto Jamie's shoulder. Jamie looked down and smiled.

Kassey closed her eyes and glided across the dance floor. She felt at home and comfortable for the first time since she'd been here. Her heart beat fast, it was a fantasy, she was in a dream right now, it had to be, this couldn't possibly be real!


Alsiha's eyes stayed open as she slid her arms around the blue eyed, blondes neck. She every once in a while converted them to her friend, making sure she hadn't done anything stupid. Suddenly the music stopped, to both the girls disappointment. Alisha let go and the boy kissed her on the cheek.

"I'll walk you back to your room if you'd like.. or Kassey's room." he said. She giggled a little. " Alright." she said and he took her arm and wrapped it around his own.


Kassey herself sat her eyes exchanging glances with Jamie. Both said nothing as they walked back to her room, Alisha and the blonde behind them. Kassey couldn't help but smile to herself and feel a little guilty that Alisha had to come back with her.

Kassey went forward and opened the door. Alisha got another kiss on the cheek and the boy bowed and left, Jamie did the same and followed after him. Alisha and Kassey ran into the room and fell on the bed.

" Wow." Kassey said. She pushed herself up and set the tiara on her dresser. It glittered in the light. Alisha laughed.

" I take it that was your first slow dance?" she asked. Kassey nodded.

" Sadly, yes it was." Her response was slightly forlornd sounding. Apperanlty Alisha had done it a lot.

"This was the first time i've felt..... like this, like my heart is floating on air and skips a beat every time i see him." she said. Kassey smiled. " I know how you feel..."

Kassey stepped into the bathroom and washed her face clean of the makeup and put on some pjs. When she came back Alisha had turned down the bed for her. There was a note that said

Good night sweets, i'm glad you had a good time, I'm really tired. Sorry i couldn't say good night in person.

Kassey smiled. " Her and blonde boy had a meeting." she said to herself. Then she got in bed and fell asleep.

Kassey awoke to Alisha on top of her. She opened her eyes and blinked, rubbing them and looking outside. The dark still covered the night. " What?" she asked sitting up slightly.


" Come on! hurry up!" Alisha said dragging her out of her bed and they ran into the hall. A little girl sat in the hall, her brown hair covered her face and she was crying. Kassey ran over and put her arm around her neck. The little girl looked up, her eyes were a deep green like a lot of people here.


" We have to go!" Alisha said. Kassey sighed and picked up the little girl and carried her. " Ok what's going on!" Kassey said. Alisha sighed and stopped in the hall.


" Do you remeber those things that you got warned about, those creatures that no one will tell you what were." Alisha asked. Kassey nodded. " Well they're attacking." Kassey's eyes went wide.


" What!" she said. " Exactly." Alisha said. The two girls ran down the hall when a figure with a hood stodd infront of her. It's brown hood covered it's face and the hall didn't have much light so thier eyes and face were covered. Two hands, normal human hands pulled off the hood and Cathy stood infront of her.


Kassey's eyes went wide and she set down the girl. She stepped back. " What the heck are you doing here!?" Kassey asked.

" Well well, i missed you at my party my friend." She spit the last part out. " You know what, I never knew you would be standing here, but... now i guess it's come to this. I'm sorry i have to kill you."

" What in the hell are you doing what are you thinking!!" kassey exclaimed.

" What do you care why I'm here? Your just gonna wun away to your wittle hide out with all your servents asking you if your ok, but i doubt you'll make it out of here before that happens." she said in a mocking voice. Kassey turned to Alisha.

" Take the girl and go, I can find my way but you guys need to get outta here." she whispered. Alisha shook her head. " That's an order Alisha!" she said just as Cathy drew her sword and ran towards Kassey. Kassey also drew her sword and the two clashed.

" Woa." she whispered to herself. Cathy drew away her sword and just as Alisha was running, her sword went through Alisha's shoulder. Kassey shethed her sword and ran over to her. Alisha held her arm and let the little girl hold the end of her sweater.


" Whatcha gonna do?" Cathy asked. Fire burned all around them that lit up the two what used to be friends faces.

" You'll pay." Kassey said bitterly. Cathy raised an eyebrow amused.

" Oh, and how are you gonna do that, from what i hear you've had one sword lesson." Cathy said. Like a natural instinct just as Cathy swung at her neck Kassey raised her sword and pushed it off. Then she took her sword and slashed it towards her stomach. Cathy smiled and pulled her sword downward, blocking the sword and steeping back, letting Kassey fall forward before she caught herself.


" I don't know what's going on but if i have to i'll kill you." Kassey said, hesitating on the word kill. Cathy smiled.

" Your weak, your not brave enough to kill me." Cathy said. Kassey knew inside she was right. She could talk tough but she usualy couldn't go through with it.
