~*~Inu no Taisho's Law~*~

You would be considered a fool if you haven't heard of the greatest law firm of all Tokyo, Japan. Inu no Tashio's Law Firm. The best Defense attorney around. He's proud of his works, his rank in society, but most of all, his pride stems from his sons, whom want to follow in his footsteps. His eldest, Sesshoumaru and the youngest, Inuyasha. Both were taught to be shrewd and tactful, just like their old man, and both are thriving in their own accoplishments working at their fathers' firm.

People fight over their annual internship. One person gets a chance to work side by side by the Great Man each year. Most be grads, fresh out of high school, some makes it, some don't. And if they excell at their internship, not only will they have a seat in the firm, they can choose what field they wan to work in. They can be a crime annalyst, crime sense investigator, anything. Yes indeed, being an intern for this firm can be a beautiful thing.

Kagome Higrashi, 19, dreams of working there. Over the summer she filled out her application. She feels she should be this year's intern. Straight A's, excellent SAT scores, it's a waste of a mind if they don't choose her. It'll be crazy! Kagome plans to be the best damn female attoney in Tokyo, working with the man that inspired her, Inu no Tashio. She lives with boyfriend Kouga, who is behind her all the way. Oh yes...she wants this more than anything, but will be all gravy like she thinks if she gets there? only time will tell.

Kagome's POV

I was shaking in my seat. There in front of me was the acceptence letter. "Open it honey!" cheered Kouga as he jumped up and down. "What if I didn't get in??" I asked as I ran my finger down the seal. "You're a terrific woman! Open it!" he exclaimed. I felt a rush as I open the letter.

Kouga's POV

Her eyes grew big like dinner plates. "YES!" she screamed. I swooped her in my arms and spun her around. "I KNEW YOU WOULD MAKE IT BABY!" "It's because of your faith. I love you." she kissed me. "Heh. Why not you and I celebrate our way? Hm?" I fiddled with her buttoned up shirt.

Kagome's POV

"Heh. You know I'm not THAT happy!" he pouted. "C'mon." he begged. "I love it when you beg." I teased. "I'm gonna get cha!" he chased me around the table. "No! Seriously! I got to tell mom!" I flopped on the couch and called her. I giggled as he nibbled on my ear. "Quit! hahhaa." "Hello?" "Hi mom!" "Hey beloved, what's up?" "I GOT INTO TAISHO'S LAW!" both of us were screaming in the phone. "THAT'S AWSOME BABY!" "I KNOW!" I shouted back.

Kouga's POV

I was so happy for her. This has been her dream for the longest, since I known her, all she tells me is that she wanted to be the best lawyer at Inu no Tashio's law. I'm glad she is on her way to catch her lifelong dream. I'm proud of her. ^^

Kagome's POV

I was out buying me a sharp new business suit. "This one." Kouga showed me one. "Skirt too short. I'm not a skank." "This isn't for work, it's for us." I laughed. "No. You freak." "You like it though." he kissed me. "Yeah..true." I eyed this real cute black and red suit. "This one." he kissed my neck. "It would look nice on you..but anything looks good on you." I smirked. "Is this your attempt to get laid tonight?"

Kouga's POV

"Is it working?" she giggled as she nodded. "Mmmhhmm." "Aw yeah."

Kagome's POV

I laughed. I'm so happy. "Hurry up and buy the suit so we can go home." he slapped my ass. LOL. I did as told. I can't wait for tomorrow ^^ I'll be this year's intern. YAY!!!

Chapter 2-Meeting "The Man"

Kagome's POV

"Mmmm." I rolled off of Kouga. "What time is it?" I asked. My vision was so blurry...God...I'm still sleepy. I grabbed my alarm clock. Blurry red lights I saw. I focused my eyes. OMG! It's 7:50! I'm supppose to be up there at 8! Kouga's late for work too. "Kouga!" I slapped his bare chest. "GET UP! TIME FOR US TO BE LEAVING!"

It was 8:15. God I'm late. I threw a peice of bread in my mouth as Kagome and I left out the door. "I'll see you tonight hun." she kissed me on the cheek since my mouth was full. I nodded. We both got into our cars and went about our ways.

I was struggling with the directions...crap I'M SO LATE! 8:25! Damn it! I was somewhat relieved when I finally found the place. So beautiful, clear glass building. Oh wow! WTF?? Why am I sitting in this car!!!

I walked in. "You must be this year's intern." a girl with black hair and peircing red eyes asked. "Y-yes." "First of all you are late. Second off, I'm Kagura. Follow me. You're late for a very important meeting. Taisho hates it when people are late." I looked down. I want to blame Kouga...for putting me to work last night, he knew I had to get up in the morning! Heh...well I did have a good sleep. "What's your name?" she asked. "Kagome, Higurashi." "Humph. What a great first impression, being late." "I know. Hope he can forgive me." "Don't hold your breath." she knocked on the door. "Mr Inu no Taisho, here's the new intern you were looking for." WHAT??? HE WAS EXPECTING ME!!!! OH CRAP! "Send her in." a voice answered. "Good luck." she cooed. I swallowed. I walked into the room. People who meant business looked at me with scowling faces. I sat at the far end.

Inu no Tashio's POV

"Now...I am a very merciful man...so it isn't wrong for me to want this firm to be as flawless as possible. How can that happen when people are late?" I eyed the new intern. "Get up and introduce yourself."

Kagome's POV

Great. He's mad at me. I felt my knees buckle. I wanted to run and hide in a hole.
"My name is Kagome, Higurashi." "Well Ms. Higurashi, welcome to my law firm, I hope you can excell here." "Thank you, I see it as my only goal." "Hm. I'd take that seriously when you come early. Why do you think I should give you an oppertunity?" I swallowed, but my throat was so dry...I can't make it saying something else! "Because...I can learn from a mistake, and I promise you it'll never happen again." he raised an eyebrow. 'Don't make promises you can't keep, sit down." ^^ Yay!

Chapter 3-So Un-professional!

Kagome's POV

The day was grueling. I wrote down and recorded aevery word of InuTaisho. "Law is the way of the people, and we are the ones who represent the law. Our duty, our sworn duty is to serve the people with much grace, and to their satisfaction at all times." I was tired already. Maybe I'm not cut out for this. He looked at the clock. "Alright. Lunch time." they all got up and went out the room. I stayed and continued to work. "I see you are living up to your promise." "Yes sir." "I hope you also realize that getting accepted here means...you do have potentail to work here." Those words were coated in gold to me. "Thank you sir. I am honored."

Inu no Taisho's POV

"Thank you. Keep impressing me. You will be rewarded hansomly. Now, go to lunch." I took her pen away from her and smiled. "I'm hungry as hell."

Kagome's POV

I didn't know weather to laugh or take it seriously, but I did get up. "Thank you again sir. I'm sure I'll pass your thoughts about me." "Oh, look here! Confidene! You've won me in that department!" he laughed. I cracked a nerdy smile. OMG he's laughing with me, TALKING TO ME! :angelstar7: "Keep that up. Heh..I hope my sons won't tear you down like the other interns, very few passed their tests." I nodded. "YES SIR!" "Oh! say that again!" "YES SIR!" he slapped my back. "I like you." *bares a big ass smile*

Man, the lunch quarter was HUGE! I sat by myself, I was fine with it. "So how did it go?"asked that girl..uh...Kagura yeah! "Fine. I thought he was going to reject me the moment I walked in." "Hm...what you want to be? Crime scene investigator?" "No. Defense attorney." "Cool. I'm gonna be a crime scene investigator. You should try to major that field, so we can work together." WOAH! Is she calling me her friend?? "Sounds tempting, but I still want to be a lawyer."

Kagura's POV

"So what high school you graduated from?" "Shikon High." "That's a plus for you. Didn't even know Taisho use to go to that school huh? He'll automatically pick some from there."

Kagome's POV

:angelstar7: Yes...this WAS meant for me. "Oh my gosh I'm so----" "SHUT THE HELL UP!" yelled a guy. "That's Hojo, a guy that's getting buy Inuyasha's bullying ways. God...someone tell him this isn't high school!"

Hojo's POV

I've had it with Inuyasha's insults! "What's the matter pussy face?" *gets up* what did you say to me...you half breed you--*gets punched*

Inuyasha's POV

"Shut up bitch." Sesshoumaru walked up next to me. "You always cause a scene once we come in here." he laughed a bit. "So, this law firm is mine too. I get to treat people how I want because I'm above these kiss-asses"

Sesshoumaru's POV

:blue20: "True." I saw Kagura...sitting with a girl I'm not familar with. "That girl Kagura is with, she must be this year's intern." "Kagura? A.K.A Your whore?" I looked at him. "You know it's true." he hissed as we walked over there.

Kagome's POV

I saw Taisho sons walk over in the reflection of the window I was looking out of. Oh...

Inuyasha's POV

"Hey ho." Kagura glared at me. "Shut up." "I can't help it. You know what you did over the summer with my brother was very naughty." I laughed.

Kagura's POV

I stormed off.

Kagome's POV

NO! DON'T LEAVE ME HERE BY MYSELF! I kept the straw in my mouth, as if it was glued in there. "What's your name girl?" "Kagome." "Kagome WHAT?"

Sesshoumaru's POV

"Now now Inuyasha, lets' not drill her down yet. This must be her first day here." she looked up at me. "How old are you?" I asked. "19." she replied. "Are you a virgin?" Inuyasha sneered. :...: :gaara01:

Kagome's POV

I splashed drink in his face. "YOU HAVE NO PLACE IN MY BUSINESS!" I screamed before storming off. Inu no Taisho should have taught him about MANNERS! This isn't the place for such question! I never in my life have been so mad.

Oh...it was SO good to finaly get home. It was 8:00. "Oh..." I threw off my high heels and crashed on the sofa. I screamed as someone covered my eyes. "Boo!" Kouga smiled. "Hey baby! Don't scare me like that!" I kissed him. "So, how was your day at your future job place?" I got up groaning. "Hard." I walked into the kitchen, he followed. "How hard?" he wrapped his arms around my waist. "Not hard enough for me to quit." "That's my girl." I choose to not tell him about that jackass. What goes on at work I don't like stays there. I do feel bad for Kagura though.

Kouga's POV

"Did you meet Mr. Man himself?" "Oh yes. He's more terrific in person. He told me he liked me!" "That's great!" I smiled. She let her long black hair out her bun hairstyle. Oh...so sexy. "But I have to admit, I was acting like a 15 yr. old at first." she giggled. "How?" "By acting like a sick dog wanting his attention." I laughed. "You think to much."

Kagome's POV

"Yeah. You're right." I drank me some juice. "You mind fast food. I'm not in the mood to cook." "Sure thing sweetie. Tacos?" I shrugged my shoulders. "Sure."

"Who that bitch think she is Sesshoumaru? Throwing a damn drink at me." "You were off the wall." I poked my lip out. "Brother, you're always suppose to be on my side there." "Sure thing bro." I threw a dart at the bullseye. "I can't wait for tomorrow, I'm gonna work her senseless, until she finally quits like all the others." "Hojo, Yuri, Yura, and Kyo stayed." he pointed out. "They some determined bastards..ain't nothing wrong with that. But that Kag chick. I can break her in 2 days." "That's a bet." Sesshoumaru shook my hand. "If she doesn't leave in 2 days, she's tougher than you though, but if not, she didn't really want to work there." "Fine." I gripped his hand firmly. "You're on!"

Kagome's POV

I was early this time. I was greeted happily by Kagura. "KAGOME! YOU'VE MADE IT!" she hugged me tightly. "Morning Kagura." I laughed. "Guess what? You're gonna share an office with me!" both of us jumped up and down giggling. "How?" "Well, Taisho wanted to test you out before giving you your own office, so I offered to share mine with you." This is a pure blessing from God himself. I'm so happy!

Inu no Taisho's POV

I walked in with my sons. I saw Kagome and Kagura chatting. "Morning ladies." I smiled. "Kagome...you're on time...excellent." "Thanks boss." I nodded in approval. I have faith in this one. In my crafting, she'll make a fine lawyer.

Inuyasha's POV

I glared at Kagome in hatred. This bitch hasn't seen my fury. If I could, I'd kill her. But her blood isn't good enough to stain my claws. I watched her walk off with Kagura. "Those two are sharing an office." my dad informed. "Why? Kagome hasn't been here for a week, and you're already putting her up to Kagura's level??" I protested. I didn't give a damn about neither, but it was bothering me dad had so much faith in that brat. "I've seen Kagome's educational status. Above excellent, so there is no point of treating her like a freshman." I growled.

WEEE! My first assignment was to type up a agreement for a divorcing pair. So sad. Me and Kouga will never break up. We'll marry, and have many children! NO! FOCUS! "Yo Kag. Hurry it up, it's almost lunchtime." Kagura said across the office room. "You're alomost finished with your criminal justice test already?" She had over 140 questions. "Yep. This is my junior year here. It's breeze." I must reach her level. I continued to type.

Inuyasha's POV

I walked in their office room. "Ladies." I said flatly. Neither one gave an answer. "Fine. You didn't come here to make friends anyway. You are to shut up and do as you're told." I walked to Kagome's desk and dropped many folders on her desk. I smiled at how her jaw dropped.

Kagome's POV

What the fuck is all this??? I looked up at the jackass. "You are to make copies of each, give everyone here a copy and fax them to these adresses." he dropped a notebook of 5 federal businesses. "Have fun." he walked out. Kagura ran to my desk and saw all I had to do. "IS HE OUT OF HIS DAMN MIND??? YOU'RE NOT GONNA FINISH THIS BEFORE LUNCH!" she screamed angrily. "I know...you go on and go to lunch. I will stay behind." "I will help you."

Kagura's POV

"Inuyasha is doing this on purpose." I walked by our window and stared outside it as I explained. "You see, what you don't know is that yes, intern do make here, but they never stay here, mostly becaue of grusome twosome, Taisho's sons. Both are seniors here and has a few wins of cases under their belts. Many interns quit to go somewhere else, some, like me, tough it out, they'll stop messing with you after a while."

Kagome's POV

"Uh...where does Taisho come in? I KNOW he knows they are acting like this." I frowned up. "Him? Knowing about this? That's crazy. Nope. He don't know. He thinks they only give interns those end of the semister tests, which he's around to moniter. He doesn't know about them treating the workers badly." "DUH? Does he see it when they LEAVE???" "Nope. He sees it as quiting." I slouched back in my chair at this crazy story. "Oh..damn...so i guess no one has ever told him either." "Never will believe it." Of course not. His sons are too precious to act that way. Already I'm having second thoughs...
